How can I remove content (video) from my computer and leave it on my ipad?
I have some workout videos that I use on my Ipad but have no use on my main computer. I have the videos backed up on an external disk but need to make more room on my laptop. I would like to leave the videos on my ipad and delete them from itunes, how can I accomplish this? Thank you.
Thanks. a little more info would have been more helpful, but after looking it up I see how it is done with clicking manually manage on the summary page and then using the drop down arrow on the far left of the device list next to the device name.

Open the iTunes app on your computer, highlight the Apps in the left column, right click over the icons of the apps that you wish to delete and choose Delete.

Remove items from a playlist:
1 On the Home screen, tap Music > Playlists, then tap the playlist you want to edit.

Delete a playlist:
1 On the Home screen, tap Music > Playlists.
2 Flick down, then tap Edit.
3 Tap next to the playlist you want to delete, then tap Delete when it appears next to the playlist.
If you tapped the wrong playlist, tap the one you want to remove.

I am very new to the photoshop world and am trying to remove an image from its background ( as a stand-alone) and save it. Is there a way to do this in Photoshop CS6? I have looked at tutorials but only found how to remove the image but not how to save the image as a stand alone with no background.

Are you trying to save a portion of an image with a transparent background? It may help to post a screenshot of the image that you're working with as well as your layers panel.

Deleting a background and saving an image with a transparent background
1. Here I am working with an image of a santa hat that I've cut out from a white background. I have two layers, the cut-out santa hat and the original file. I'm going to delete the background layer so that I have just one layer - the cut-out santa hat:
2. You'll see that a checkerboard pattern has appeared behind the santa hat. This means that the background is transparent.
3. You can then go to File > Save As... and select PNG, Photoshop PSD, or TIFF from the Format dropdown menu. These file formats will save the cut-out portion of your image on its own, while preserving the transparent background. -

Photo Stream doesn't work with video, photos only.
What format are the Nikon videos?
Videos can be transferred to your iPhone with photos via the iTunes sync process - selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. Place the video in a folder of photos on your computer that is selected to be transferred to your iPhone under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, or create a folder for this video only on your computer selecting the folder under the photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync.
Photos/videos transferred from your computer are not stored in the Camera Roll. They are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library. -

Can anyone advise me if I delete an email account from one iPhone will it still be available on another iPhone. I've upgraded my phone but am giving my old iPhone to my husband but want to remove as many emails to save on memory for him, but when I delete from the old iPhone, the same emails are deleted from my new iPhone.
I have seen that the account can be deleted, but don't want to delete it without knowing whether it will leave the account still on my new iPhone.
Has anyone had experience of this, and can you advise me what I need to do?

I've posted about this before in other threads, but the silence from Apple has been deafening, Others in the community have agreed with the request but haven't been able to answer it.
I thought a thread of its own might get attention, since Apple won't talk to me otherwise.
I use music on my iPhone and iPad a lot, playing through speakers in my study or through the car system. It worked well at first, until I updated the operating systems.
Now, where I used to have a list of albums, music, or playlists I have large blank areas where album artwork would go if there were any - which in most cases there isn't. The iPad used to display 50 or more playlists in one screen,with some details of them. Now, it shows 15 blank squares with a crotchet on them, and the name of the playlist. That really isn't much use.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can there be a way to turn OFF album artwork on the iPhone and iPad? It wastes an enormous amount of screen space for stuff I don't have and don't want. It's a very unwelcome new "feature" (ie "bug").Keithjillings wrote:

Apple does not participate in these forums, so that would explain why you have not received a response.
I am not aware of a way to turn off Album art on the devices. If you want to let Apple know of your desire for this setting, go to www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate link. That is where you communicate with them. They will receive the feedback, however they do not respond to it. -

Yes, you should not have any trouble.
In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from (the dog) to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer. -

Apparently, all my contacts, pictures from photo stream, and ical are now also in his device. And all his contacts, pictures, and ical are on mines. How can I remove his device from my icloud and Apple ID WITHOUT deleting anything? Like I just don't want him to get anymore of my reminders and contacts, and pictures? Because I'm afraid taht if I remove his iphone on my icloud, all the pictures/contacts/ical that he took and went to my device too will be deleted because those are some important pictures/contacts/ical?
