How can I remove Firefox 4.0 from my computer?

I recently attempted to install Firefox 4.0, but I have been unable to complete the installation.
Every time I have tried to use 4.0, I have gotten a message that tells me to restart my computer to complete installation. However, after I've restarted the computer numerous times, the installation remains incomplete. Instead of the usual Firefox icon, there is an icon of an open box and a disc.
After many attempts to complete the installation of 4.0, I tried to uninstall it. However, the computer refused to uninstall it, because the program never finished installing in the first place. I got the usual message to restart the computer, which accomplished nothing.
I then tried to use System Restore to restore the previous version of Firefox, but the computer could not complete the restoration, because 4.0 has not finished installing. After using System Restore, Firefox 3.6.15 is now listed in the Programs list, but I still cannot uninstall it. I still get the "restart computer" message.
Currently, I'm still seeing the box/disc icon, but now when I click it, it does nothing at all.
Is there no way to rid my computer of the awful scourge that is Firefox 4.0?

 Don't know about Windoze, but on the Mac that is not a problem at all.

 The install path for ACR in Photoshop 7 and 8 is entirely different from the above. So you can have all four iterations of ACR installed, one for each version of Photoshop.
 
 I keep Photoshop 7.0.1, 8, 9.0.2 and 10 installed. I can even run more than one version of Photoshop at once, I just have to start the older version first.

The proper procedure when selling or giving a computer is to erase it completely and restore it to its out-of-the-box condition from the original disks. You should also make sure to include the disks which came with the computer.

If you need to consider removing 30MB folders to create space then I imagine your hdd is seriously short of space. Normally I think it is often suggested a minimum of 20-25% free space be left on a Windows machine hdd. How much free space % wise have you at present.
You probably have already thought of these, a lack of space could slow things down and may even contribute to crash problems.
*Not using the Hibernate feature will release one largish chunk.
*Not keeping video files on the HDD unnecessarily is also likely to save space.

wa_fieldcat-tabname = 'I_OUTPUT'.    " Curr
wa_fieldcat-fieldname = 'FWAER'.
wa_fieldcat-seltext_l = text-023.
wa_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'.
APPEND wa_fieldcat TO i_fieldcat.
CLEAR wa_fieldcat.

Try Mail>Preferences>Accounts icon>Account Information tab>Click on the Outgoing SMTP server drop down, choose edit Server list, highlight the old one & click Remove.

How much was the amount ? A 'normal' holding charge is a small amount (e.g. equivalent to about $1), and usually happens after you add or change credit card details on your account. Here in the UK it can take a few working days for it to disappear (so a weekend can extend the elapsed time).
Edit : I don't know what a non-liability certificate is and/or whether Apple can do one.

You have to do this from ITunes on your computer. You can't do it from itunes.com.
First start ITunes. On the left side of the screen, go to Store and then ITunes Store. From the Quicklinks on the right side of the screen, go to Account. After you sign in, you will see your account and payment information. Click on Edit next to Payment Type. Click None, next to Visa MasterCard Amex Discover. It will then remove your credit card from your ITunes Account.
