How can I remove hidden remnants of fonts?

When I pre-flight my book for print it gives me a report which lists a few fonts which is not seachable in the documents.
I guess they are remnants from the original Word document.
The remnants are from "Cambria", one case of cambria is even embedded, and then a custom made font called "I Ching".
I have tried every trick I know to find and replace or or remove them. Got a clue?
It is important for me to clean the document because there is a problem printing the pdf.

If the fonts are in placed graphics the only way to get rid of them is to edit the graphics. Other fonts you should be able to remove using Find Font and replacing them with something else. They may be in styles (Cambria, in particular, may have come in as part of a style from Word), and using the Select All Unused commands from the Paragraph Styles and Character Styles panel flyout menus, then deleting them, would be a good start. There is also an option in Find Font to redefine styles when you substitute a font.

There is no way to do it. Others have asked for the very same thing that you are asking for, but currently it just cannot be done. You can't remover purchases from your Purchase History - you can hide them - but you can't delete them from the history.
You can delete the Apps from the iPad and you can delete them from iTunes on the computer. Delete them from iPad, delete them fromiTunes so that when you sync there is no chance that they will come back. Then hide the purchases. That's the best that you can do.
On the iPad, tap and hold down on the app icons until the X pops up. Tap the X to delete the apps.
In iTunes, clcik on Apps under the Library heading on the left. Right click on the apps that you want to delete and follow the prompts.

You installed the "SaveKeeper" adware. To remove it, please take the steps below.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of the date it was posted, as far as I know.They won't necessarily be valid in the future. 1. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions, including any with the name "RightCoupon," "SaveKeep," or similar. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
2. In the Applications folder, there may be an item with the name "SaveKeeper" or similar. Move it to the Trash and empty. If you get a warning that the item is in use, force it to quit, then try again.
The rest of this comment is optional. I can't be sure that you don't have a variant of SaveKeeper that I'm not familiar with, or that you haven't installed some other kind of malware in addition to SaveKeeper. If you want to rule out that possibility, see below.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

Last Spring I received a couple of emails to an alias I set up a long time ago under mac mail with mac.com - not my main ID - at mac.com. The mail had the Icloud extension. I just deleted it.
I then received a couple of e-mails forwarded to the same alias that came from a non-apple account that led me to search to see if the company was legit - it was. Using a non-apple hidden account I sent that non-apple account an email informing them apparently when they registered the ID or alias as an ICLOUD extension - apple did not check for duplication in accounts or aliases that were not in the Icloud.
I also sent feedback to Apple telling them to fix it and apparently they did - along with the person who replicated my alias.
On this site there were a number of postings from people who also had problems with mac mail and Icloud who resolved it by contacting Apple and getting the accounts cleared up.

When you delete the app from your iphone and also the from you Mac computer, they are just hidden and not deleted pernanently !!!!
There isn't and option to allow you to do this. Maybe this is a safeguard to secure and not to accidently delete purchases but as with most delete functions 2 or more levels can be built in with confirmation at each to minimise this but ultimately the user's need the option to completely temove all unwanted items purchased or not.

You can't delete the purchase record as far as I know.

Hit the num lock button again. Num lock forces only the numeric keypad underlying keys to work as a numeric keypad, and the rest of the keyboard won't work. Unfortunately Apple stopped including the numeric keypad hidden keyboard key labels on its keyboards. They used to include them. I'm also looking to find a way to remove message/s from FacesContext, and so far I've not been able to do this.
The issues described below (if you have the patience to understand it) may uncover some JSF issues when combining different functionalities in JSF to come up with a solution.
I have a requirement to display (let's just say error) messages in a message board. I do this in 2 steps: field-level validations are done first, and if all corrected (by the user), I do multi-field-level as well as business logic validation after model update (the way JSF seems to be designed to handle different types of validations). Let's say I have a combination of 3 combo-boxes that are dependent on one another. Selection from (1) requires dynamically filtering and setting a list for two and that in turn requires dynamically filtering and setting a list for 3, so the first two have valueChangeListener (try doing this in JSF!!!, I had to hack my way through to set this up with JSF, but that is not the issue). I have business rules associated with items within combo (1) and other entry fields entered by users (i.e. for simplicity let's just say, if material 'chain' is selected from combo 1, I should set combo (2) and (3), and validate that user entered at least four in # used entry field). Let's say I have a table with many rows of above combination of combo-boxes specified. Again for simplicity, assume we only have business rule violations (not field-level that would not go through model update):
* User selects many combination of entried before submit (with no field-level error)
* Business rules are checked and messages added to FacesContext and displayed in a message board
* Next, all these messages disappear from the view when selecting any item from any combo-box (with valueChangeListeners attached to them) - 2 reasons: 1. a new FacesContext is created per valueChangeEvent 2. Business model update does not happen (so we don't generate these messages again and add them to FacesContext, it is not efficient to do so anyways)
* we would like to display all those business logic validation messages so the user could correct them all (and not lose them by any combo-box selection)
* As a workaround, I add these messages to session (which is another issue, since FacesMessages are not serializable) at the end of business logic validation, and retrieve and display them by (a.) forcing combo-boxes go through (field-level) validation, (b.) adding a new hidden field at the end of all fields in JSP page with a custom-validator that all it does is to get messages saved to session (from the last business logic validation) and add them to the FacesContext - this ensures that messages are not lost due to combo-box selections
* The problem is that when user submits (to validate the business rules again), since the old Business validations messages are added to FacesContext at the end of field-level validation, I need to clear them, before adding the newly generated messages
* But....I can't remove messages from FacesContext
So here's a reason for this 'needed' functionality, based on whatever is available (as of JSF 1.1.01). Is there a better way to this, I'll be delighted to hear it (as I have tried different solutions myself with above combination of issuses), and have wasted some time trying to work-around the issues I've faced using JSF (in every one of those ways I've tried) ....part of which is described here...

When I connected my iPhone, it automatically synced right away. I did click on the iPhone button and saw the contents of my iPhone including the Books. When I clicked that 'Books' button. But since the book in question was not on my iPhone, it did not show up in the list so I could not select it like you suggested. Therefore I could not sync that book to my iPhone. About a week after it came out, I found what was basically the same book for a dollar more. ($7.99 and $8.99) I figured there must be something additional (features) in the $8.99 book. So I bought it too. As far as I could tell though, they were exactly the same. So I decided to hide one of them so they would not both show up in my Library. Anyway, I went to my iTunes/iBooks account and managed the hidden books area. I unhid the Demi book and then it showed up in my iCloud to download on my iPhone. Now they are both on my computer so I need to figure out which one is the other one and hide it. So then I can delete it from my computer just have the one that is on my iPhone on both systems. But at least I found a way to get a copy on my iPhone.

I assume you're using GMail as your primary e-mail account? Try this. This is how I am setup. Not only will it move all your contacts to your phone but any changes made in GMail or on the iPhone will be sync'd with the server.

Note... I think this will delete your existing contacts from your device. You will want to use iTunes to back them up and get them imported into GMail before you sync your device wtih GMail.

While populating the field catlog do the following thing to   avoid zeros.
wa_fieldcat-tabname = 'I_OUTPUT'.    " Curr
wa_fieldcat-fieldname = 'FWAER'.
wa_fieldcat-seltext_l = text-023.
wa_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'.
APPEND wa_fieldcat TO i_fieldcat.
CLEAR wa_fieldcat.

data text type string.
text = '**1000**'.
replace all occurrences of '*' in text with ''.
write text.

Hello Mudassar,
In SQL Server / T-SQL we don't have a native JSON support, so you would have to implement a solution on your own = parsing the string and remove the "Key" + it's value.
