How can I remove lying, cheating ex-husband's email from my account? It's bad enough I have to pay him alimony every month. He's been removed from our plan, but when there is an email from Verizon, it is still cc-ed to him. When I go into manage settings, the only email I'm seeing is my own. Suggestions?

Log into your account page, then click on "view profile" . From there, you will see all of your personal and security info.
Scroll down , you will see the email addresses associated with the account listed. The option to change email address is on the right side of the page.

As above, Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library, however it is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve/merge ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

Were there apps that the previous owner bought from the Mac App Store on the Mac when you got it? They should have been removed before passing the Mac to you. At this point those are pirated apps and they can only be updated using the previous owners Apple ID. You should remove all of them from the Mac and buy them using your own Apple ID. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

You cannot activate the iPad unless you have the Apple ID and Password of previous owner.

Login to My Verizon. On Manage my Device, select Manage my media
Click on photos, select all photos (A), and then click the download button (B). You will get a zip file with your photos. If you have a lot of photos, doing smaller batches. You can also do one at a time.

"Inbox.com" suddenly appeared out of nowhere on my wife's new Dell (Windows 7) desktop whenever accessing Firefox. Nothing has been recently loaded. Spyware & virus scans find nothing. "Inbox" does not show up on my programs, so deleting this way is impossible. Searching for it on the computer finds nothing. It appears it is being piggybacked on Firefox, because Firefox comes up and continues to be listed "under" the Inbox page, which is shown immediately after Firefox is selected.
During this same time, this desktop has started locking up several times a day... sometimes requiring 2 or 3 restarts in a row to get it to function.
If Firefox has an answer to this, I haven't been able to find it! I will delete Firefox and check back in a few weeks to see if it's been fixed. Frustrating to say the least. (As usual, Microsoft is of no help).

I know, you can have multiple email accounts. i have 3 on my iphone 4. But if my wife, daughter, and I all use the ipad. Can you set up email to ask for what account to load?
Again, i know you can switch after the fact. I am trying to avoid the scenario where I may see my daughter email, or my wife may see mine. Not that we have anything to hide. But if i order flowers or something, i wouldn't want here to inadvertently see the conf email because ipad defaulted to my account.

Perhaps consider setting your family up with Gmail accounts. Gmail (Google's email service, even though you probably already knew that) is totally free and has an awesome web interface, especially on the iPad. Then each member of your family could log in/out of their Gmail accounts using mobile Safari.

If your email accounts are IMAP (which includes most major email providers like Gmail & Hotmail) then you don't have to sync them as they will automatically sync with all your devices. All you have to do is enter the username and password on your iOS device. You can speak to your ISP to confirm if your particular email accounts are IMAP.

Sympatico email has been set up with POP enabled and Do What the App says when deleting downloaded messages.
TBird Account has been set up with server settings Leave Messages On Server unchecked.
Starting a month or so ago, a second copy of an email, already received in my Inbox, would be received about 5 or 10 minutes after the first. Starting this AM, I received a third copy of the same email.
