If you have an email account that you want to delete, go to Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars>Email Account>Delete account.
If you have on old Apple ID that keeps popping up when you update apps, that old ID will always be tied to those apps and you must continue to use that ID and password when you update those apps.
If you want to completely sign out of that old account, and nothing on your iPad is still tied to it, go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores. Tap on the old ID and sign out. Then sign in with the new one

You can't delete an existing account, you can only choose to stop using it. It will still be there should you decide to use it again in the future.

Logic 9.0.2 is the last version that runs on a G5 - 9.1.x is Intel only.
If you have only 50 GB left on your system drive, you should consider it full. Get an external drive and move your music, movies and photo's to it, and delete them from your system drive to free up space.
The free space on the system drive is being used by the OS to offload RAM, rule of thumb is to keep at least 20 % of the drives' capacity free. When you have less and less free space, your Mac will eventually become very slow (many "beachballs").
I believe the current Logic Package has version 9.1 on it, be sure you have the correct (9.0) version...

The Apple ID exists. The email address you used to create it may not, but the Apple ID does. Call AppleCare and ask to speak to someone in account security.

Your apps were purchased under the old ID, so they will have to be deleted and re-purchased/downloaded under your new one.

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

Yes, the file extension is M4R. Does it matter where I save these files on my Macbook? I then opened them in Itunes and played them. I did find the Tones folder in Itunes but the Tones or Ringtones tab does not show up when I select Iphone (within Itunes). When I open the Tones folder in the Library, it is empty. from the menu with a keyboard icon in the menu bar, towards the right. By pressing modifier keys, you can see what characters correspond to any key combination. You can also produce a character by clicking it in the viewer.
