That's the portrait orientation lock. Double-tap the home button to bring up the recently used apps bar. Scroll right until reaching the left-most position on the bar. Tap the orientation lock symbol to remove the padlock.

I created a af:popup by drag and drop a VO from data control to jsff. then, I created a button and place a af:showPopupBehavior. I was able to popup window by click the button.
however, the window filled with the information from the 1st record. and when I select a record in table and click popup, the popup is filled with that record.
How can I make the popup with empty fileds and create new record by saving the popup?

You can have edit and new buttons, in the PopupFetchEvent identify button source (using popupFetchEvent.getLaunchSourceClientId()) if new button clicked clear the binding using below code.
If you want to see empty fields, in the popup PopupFetchEvent clear the input component bindings.

The Camera Roll is included in the iPad's Backup however there is no way to access the back up's content without Restoring the iPad. If you wipe the photos from the iPad's Photo Roll the new back up file created will also have them removed.
Photo Stream, also a part of iCloud, is also intended to make your latest photos accessible on your other iOS devices such as iPhones, Apple TVs and Mac computers. It will only hold 1000 of the latest photos and is supposed to delete them after 30 days. This can give you the opportunity to view photos for awhile, back the photos up in a more conventional manner on your computer and share them with others. It is not a back up and is more of a temparary place to view them. Photos should be transferred to a computer which also has a good back up routine to external sources.
Even though iCloud can hold your iPad Backup file, the back up file does not contain most media files. The iOS backup file is more for quickly getting your devics settings restored if you have an issue with it or want to set up a new device. Your media files must also live else where in a more permanent back up such as on a computer and an external USB drive. For most actions, iCloud pretty much mirrors your iOS devices, delete something from one device it is gone from them all including iCloud.
If you want to remove photos then store and view them from an online source use services such as DropBox or other online photo services such as Flickr.

Hi everyone!
I'd like to ask for some assistance regarding the use of threads. I currently have an application that displays the current time, date & day on three separate JLabels on a JPanel by means of a thread class that I created and it's working fine.
I wonder how would I be able to use the same thread in displaying the current time, date & day in the status bar of my JFrame. I'd like to be able to display the date & time in the JPanel and JFrame synchronously. I am developing my application in Netbeans 4.1 so I was able to add a status bar in just a few clicks and codes.
I hope somebody would be able to help me on this one. A simple sample code would be greatly appreciated.

As you're using Swing, using threads directly just for this kind of purpose would be silly. You might as well use javax.swing.Timer, which has done a lot of the work for you already.
You would do it something like this...

The advantage of using a timer over using an explicit thread, is that multiple Swing timers will share a single thread. This way you don't blow out your thread count. :-)

Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.

You can't all apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase/download it.

Forget the iPod nano 6Gen manual, p. 21; it doesn't tell you how to turn the feature off, just how to turn it on. Not all of us like randomizing our playlists. APPLE: PUT UP AN ARTICLE EXPLAINING SIMPLY HOW TO DO THIS. Meanwhile, here's what worked for me:
1. Go to the "Now Playing" icon and tap the "Play" arrow in the center.
2. On the touch screen that comes up (you'll see an eighth-note graphic with the song title superimposed at the top, a Play/Pause button in the middle, and "Reverse" and "Forward" buttons on either side of that), swipe your finger to the left (not to the right).
3. This touch screen will have a "Repeat" symbol with two arrows like a snake eating its tail on the left and another symbol on the right that shows two arrows pointing to the right. This is the "Shuffle" symbol. Touch the Shuffle symbol so it's white, not blue. White means that Shuffle is off.
4. To make sure you won't accidentally turn Shuffle on, which you can do by giving the iPod a shake, go to the main Settings icon, cick it and select "Music," then press "Shake to Shuffle" until the button next to it says "Off" (white, not blue).

You have quite muddied up the waters, I'm afraid. Assuming you now have a single GUID partition formatted Mac OS Extended, Journaled, you should try reinstalling Lion:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. for my MacBook Air problem adding music intensifier (Panasonic ST-HT1000) to give it an unpleasant sound background that sounds like a whiz, it's not so loud, but it is an unpleasant .. after a short time can get used to, but the fizz does not pass, however, believe that it is a big problem.
Further I notice that when MacBookAir disconnected from the charger, it remains quieter sound.
At first thought that the headphone jack (3.5 mm Headphone:
Connection: 1/8-Inch Jack) or wiere have problem, but tried 3 different cables, but that does change enything, the problem remains.
When I added iPhonu3GS playing - the background sound were not, then everything is OK!

There is no way to bring that up unless you have it typed in a document. You can use My Support Profile to find a list of serial numbers that have been purchased or registered with your Apple ID.
