How can I remove unnecessary built in apps?

Hi, I would like to know, why I can't disable some apps. Ex.: Built-in apps from Sony like Walkman or Movies can be disabled, but Album can't. Why? I don't like this album, I've already have some old galery app and it was great... Is there any way to disable it without rooting? I would like to know also, why I can't disable "Google Photos" app, I didn't even find it in apps - all.

You can't remove it because the app is part of the system update and any app that is part of the software cannot be removed.
You can only hide it in a folder so that you can't see it.

You can use computer iTunes to help.
Connect your iPod Touch to Computer's iTunes
In iTunes, select your iPod Touch under DEVICES (left pane).
On right pane select Music at the top.
Now you can de-select the music/playlist or anything you don't want and click Sync button bottom right.
You can do the above for Apps, Books, etc.
You can of course, de-authorize the computer in iTunes menu Store.
Note: That will make everything using his AppleID inaccessible.

If this is some strategy to get people to use Newsstand, you're failing in a laughably miserable way - why else are there so many pre-iOS 5.1 tutorials on how to remove it?
The 4S is a lovely device, but please get over yourselves - not every idea you have is going to be an instantly accepted innovation, and the more you try to force people to accept an idea, the less receptive they'll be.

How can I remove the iOS5 Newsstand App from my iPad

I keep all of my apps organized into 5 folders running on the bottom along with the Safari app.
I like to keep my iPad screen free of clutter so I can enjoy my wallpaper.
I read the threads and see that the Newsstand acts as a folder itself which is why I can't hide it within another folder, but I really don't want to have to run two pages just to hide the app, can we please have in the next patch update and option to remove this app as I never plan to use it and don't care to read magazines or newspapers on my iPad.

I'm able to get newsstand into a folder, but it seems to pop out again whenever I download an app update (for unrelated apps in a different group). I did the update via my Windows machine, not from the phone directly.

It's a desktop app, the only kind available from the appstore, as I indicated in my original post. Also, as indicated in the original post, dragging to the trash removes it from my system, but not from the Appstore's notion of what's installed. The Appstore still thinks it's installed. That's the problem. It's a hygiene issue.

It works just the same as an iPhone. A long hold on an icon will cause them all to start wobbling, drag to move around or tap the X to remove.You can't remove any of the built-in apps so these won't get an X to tap.

Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'
