How can I removed purchased music from my iPhone?
I purchase most of my music on my phone but i dont want it all to remain on my phone. i want it to be on my computer I also want to be able to only put playlists on my phone. for some reason it keeps duplicating songs that ive purchased. how to i fix it without entirely deleting the song from everything?
If you buy them on your phone, they're going to be downloaded to your phone.
If you buy them on a different device, and want to make sure they don't get downloaded to your phone: Settings >> iTunes and App Store >> turn off "Music" under Automatic Downloads.
To delete a song, answering the title of your post, swipe your finger sideways on the song and selected delete. If you have "Show All Music" turned on in Settings >> Music, they'll still appear, but not be local on the device.
I don't sync playlists, so can't answer that part. Maybe someone else can.

I have purchased music using my iphone. Now I'm trying to remove the tracks from the phone. They are not on any of my playlists that I have set to sync, but they are always still synced to my phone. I have even gone as far as unchecking the Sync Music option in iTunes. This removed all my playlisat tracks, but the purchased tracks are still on my iPhone.

Then once you're sure those songs are safely on your computer, unsynch them from your iPhone by unchecking them in iTunes. -

There are purcahsed songs on my iphone. However even after unsycning them from iTunes it does not remove them from my phone. I don't want to get ride of the songs out of iTunes but I want them off my phone.
And another one. For one of my albums it shows the wrong album cover.Yes some did and I was able to hide those. However a few still remain.

Hi, I have changed from an old laptop to a macbook air. how can i keep my music from my iPhone and sync it my macbook? Only purchased music seems to be available to sync, even though the rest of the music was uploaded from CD's on my last laptop.
As I can't upload CD's onto the Macbook Air, how do I keep the existing music on my iphone syn onto my new macbook without deleting all the cds on the iphone??

Are you pressing the Sync button to transfer music after connecting your iPhone or do you have the option checked to 'Automatically Sync when the iPhone is connected?'
Have you tried manually dragging and dropping music from your library into your phone? -
I have an IPhone 5, and of course I have used ITunes. My Computer has been completely destroyed, so I have to Purchase a new one. How can I transfer my music from my iPhone to my New PC?
The way I do it is I hook to my windows computer, it will pop up iTunes. I click iTunes off. The phone will show as another drive on your computer. Click it open then migrate to the photos folder from the iPhone.
Then select all, cut then right click on your pictures folder on your computer or make a new folder on your desk top like I do and right click on new folder and select paste.
Photos will be gone. Just remember to turn off the iPhone sync in your photos folder on the phone or they will come back

How can I remove individual songs from my iphone 5? Right now, all 2013 songs are syncing. I thought that unchecking the songs in the main itunes playlist would remove them form all devices. Apparently this does not work. Under the uphone 5 sync menu there are no selections for individual songs... only groups of songs. Am I missing something?
I just create a playlist and sync only this playlist.
Then just add/remove from this playlist and sync.
Unchecking songs does other thing such as not playing them in iTunes, not syncing them to other devices and not applying changes -

If the music on your iPod was downloaded elsewhere or ripped from CD's, you can't transfer that back to a computer or another iOS device, iPhones/iPads/iPods weren't designed for this. That has everything to do with music industry rights and legal stuff. -

You won't be able to delted the existing account without the password. If you don't know it, you'll have to reset it as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617. You will have to prove your identity before they will reset the password.
