I am first time user for InDesign CC how can i repair my logo and make the fill transparent, in ID CC?

No I did it InDesign CC, ill try illustrator, but I was able to fill in with a light grey that made the other parts of logo stand out, so I may just leave it that way.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.

OK, I went to Private Browsing to change Never remember history to choose Use custom settings for history and then clicked on Permanent Private Browsing Mode and clicked on the bottom OK. I then went to my Firefox messages and clicked on that internal-linked multimessage and then clicked on a link. It went there for only 1 second and reverted to the top of the message, not moving on further clicking.
I then went to tools > options > privacy only to find that the default Never remember history was back in the panel. It wasn't stable at Use custom settings for history. I tried this several times. It always reverts either right away or after that 1-second success. One time it lasted an amazing 3 seconds before reverting to the top of the multimessage e-mail. So THAT failed too.
OK, so then I went to Internet Explorer and called up that message. Clicked on an internal link and watched it fail for 1 second and then clicked again and it held the message for a long time. It's something in Firefox not Int. Explorer. Please see the image to let you know what I am doing.

Open the Boot Camp Assistant in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and use it to restore the drive to a single partition setup. If it's not there, use Pacifist to extract it from your install DVD and run the combo updater for your OS version.

You can't "clean" RAM. If the "storage" space on your hard drive isn't enough then put in a larger hard drive or delete any of your data you no longer need or can store on an external drive. Beyond this I cannot say because you have not provided enough information such as the amount of installed RAM, Capacity of your hard drive and the amount of available space on the hard drive, the specific iMac model you have.
You can try reinstalling Lion:
Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) How Can I Repair this AVI and watch it?

I have this avi film that's in two parts. I watched the first, but when I start the second, it freezes up after a few seconds. It also freezes in other parts if I try to skip over the "damaged" area. This happens with Quicktime and with VLC, and force-quitting doesn't work; I just get the loading rainbow wheel and have to wait for it to do its thing. I then get an error message.
So I downloaded DivFix++ and tried to repair the file (it's titled 'Ichi' by the way. In the log it says the file is an XVid. After a few minutes though I get this error:

Read error on the file 'Ichi' (error 5: Input/output error)
Anybody know what I can do to fix the file and watch the movie? I appreciate any suggestions, thanks.

How can I repair 10.6.8 when the disk my computer came with is 10.5.4?

Ran Verify Disk and received the following message:
"This disk needs to be repaired. Start up your computer with another disk (such as your Mac OS X installation disc), and then use Disk Utility to repair this disk."
I attempted to do this but while booting the computer would stop at a blank white screen and do nothing. Then I realized that my iMac is running 10.6.8, but the installation disk that came with it when I purchased it is 10.5.4. What can I do to repair my disk?

How did you upgrade to Snow Leopard? You must have purchased the retail Snow Leopard DVD. That is your installation disc. I would not do repairs using a Leopard copy of Disk Utility.

I am opening an vi using "Open VI Reference" and "Invoke Methodpen FP", but I want to open the vi and show the block diagram, but I haven´t found any method (Invoke Method) to do that and any property.

OK, I can come up with a reason. I have written a program that will search the entire VI Hierarchy of a program and update all of the descriptions for all VIs with the top level program part #, the name of the top level program that the VI is used in, the company copyright info, the ITAR notice, company address, the name of the engineer performing the update, along with the date and time. This will also place as a background image on all the VIs, a watermark of the company name, legality stuff and the copyright. It works very slick in that if there are thousands of sub-vis, such as what I'm working on now, it goes through all of them, makes sure the data is there as per company policy without having to open every one of them look at them and update or not whichever the case may be. The one portion that is tough is that the program will detect if there is a description written about what funtion the VI performs and if there is not a description, then it pops up a dialog requesting the user to write a description. The problem is that without looking at the block diagram for the VI, it can be nearly impossible to write a description for the functionality of the VI. So is there a way to programmatically open a VI, show its block diagram (this would only be in the case of a missing description) and then upon completion of the updates, close the block diagram? (I already open and close the VI programmatically in order to read the VI DESC and update as needed, but that is in the background and of course you can't see the block diagram).

Could anybody tell me how I can save date + time to a file, so that I can display on a diagram(excel) : date+time in (ox) and data (oy)? :
My program sets in (ox) the point number and not the date+time....( although date and time are written correctly in the column...)

excel uses 01.01.1900 00:00 as the time offset, LabVIEW uses 01.01.1904 02:00, so you can't display the correct datetime in excel when you write the time as a fractional number of seconds from LabVIEW. you must format the datetime in LabVIEW to a string and write that to the column. use the "Format Date/Time String" - function and for example "%d.%m.%Y %H:%M:%S%3u" as the format string (see the functions help for more examples). you also could format your data to a string using "Format Into String" - function and write the file as a 2D string array. the decimal point you have to use depends on your system and its settings, but you can specify the decimal point in the Format string like "%.;%f" (means fractional number with point as decimal point).

How can I forward an email and include the attached images?

I sent a client an email with attahced images (I attached the images, pictures I took). The client responded with the images attached to the response. When I try to forward that response to a third party the attached images become place holders only, no image.
Shouldn't my forwarded mail include the images? Short of re-attaching the images how can I get them included in the forwarded email?

I tested a few I forwarded to myself and I could still forward with attachments. You might try Redirecting it (Message menu).

Yesterday I upgraded to Firefox 4. Sorry, but I do not like it at all, the rearrangement of "bars" at the top of the screen, removing the down arrow that was next to the "back arrow/forward arrow, to allow you to see a small current "history list.' But mostly, the fact that I can not use my Norton Internet Security, which has all my 'user names' and 'pass words'; which cost over a hundred dollars.
I want to change back to the previous edition of Firefox; which I purchased several years ago, and have been upgrading since then.

Posted about this a couple of weeks ago with a text file and got the following code (where x.zip=x.txt) and it worked fine. Problem is that I need to do this with zip files, and when I run the code below, it simply displays the zip file, rather than prompting the user to save the file. Have tried every mime type under the sun. No joy.
The How to Upload and Download Files in an Application Advanced Tutorial for Release 3.2 does not work for APEX4. Simply creating a file browse item leads to Error ORA-20999: P3_FILE_NAME has to have a valid BLOB column as source. and so I cannot follow that tutorial to get further clues on how to make this work.

...Remember, that it's your browser's MIME type settings that determine whether to pop up a save diaglog box. In FF 3.6 > Tools > Options > Applications > Content type. The set action for each mime type.

In ActionScript 2.0 , How can I send HTTP request and get the response in JSON format.

I am using ActionScript 2.0 for my app development. I have checked XML and LoadVars class. These classes by default send/receive data either in XML or name/value pair format. I want to send data in JSON format and receive the response in JSON format. How can I achieve this behavior using AS2.0. I have noticed that AS3.0 has the capabilities to do so. My client platform doesn't support AS3.0. Can anybody suggest a way to achieve this?

Atlast I am able to find the solution for this problem. In the end solutioin is very simple.
Following steps will help in sending request in JSON format.
1. extend LoadVars class
2. override toString method. (It should return JSON format )
3. Use subclass to send the request.
