How can I repair the the letters wearing off of my keyboard?.

The letters are wearing off of my 4 year old iMac keyboard. Is there a good way to mark the keys that will not rub off? Everything else works great and I would like not to buy a new keyboard if at all possible.

How can I use the sustain pedal of my MIDI keyboard (novation launchkey) in a normal way? The tone holds itself and I stop this by using the sustain pedal? I need help

There are two types of sustain pedal... One's with + polarity and ones with - polarity
The sustain pedal you are using, has the oppostie polarity from the standard.. which means when you press it it acts as if it is not pressed and vice versa...
Unfortunately, unlike a lot of keyboards... the Launchkey doesn't provide a setting that allows you to correct this issue... which means that unless the pedal you are using has a built in polarity switch...(In which case power down your keyboard, unplug the pedal and select the opposite setting to what is set now and then plug it back in and power up your keyboard) your sustain pedal is the wrong type and is not compatible with the Launchkey....
Failing that, here is an example of a sustain pedal that has a polarity switch so you can use it with any keyboard....

How can I repair the Volume?

My IMac G5,(late model '04) was not working as expected. I verified the permissions, and a few were repaired. The problem continued, then I verified the disk(Tiger).
The process returned a message box with the following text: "First Aid Failed. Disk utility stopped because the following error was encountered: The underlying task reported failure on exit".
There are 2 message indicating the "Volume bit map needs minor repair" and "the 1HFS volume checked needs repair"
The clickable button that should be pressed to perform this repair is grayed out and non functional.
How can I repair this disk?

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
In the future... you do not want to Repair Permissions or do any writing the the HD if it needs repair.

How Can I Repair the Triangle/Exclamation Point Issue?

I have repaired and then Rebuilt my database only to have the same triangle come up while totally putting different Event dates around my photos.
This is Apple for crying out loud. This monumentally time consuming answer which doesn't work should not be coming from Apple.

Moving albums is a strange issue that I've not seen and many othr have not but many have
Try creating a folder and putting your albums in it - some people have foud that to help - you also can use folders to reduce the number of albums you are dealing with while organizaing - no idea what you have but as an eampe if you ha an album for every town you visited on vacation it woudl be hard to manage - if you made a vacation folder with country folders in it an then town folders in the counrty folders all of a sudden you are dealing with a much more managable set of data to organize
I have not seen a definative answer other than using folders to help
As to IPLM - almost all of the time it doess resolve things - but even then there are people who had to start over (which is not quiet as bad as it sounds - but certainly not great)
The real answer is a good backup so when there is a problem rather than cure it you can go back to a good tiem and move forward from there

We are intrested in changing the current format of the downloaded file. We would like to remove the header lines and that only the item lines will be performed, we are also intrested of removing the columns: line category, Field Attribute, Change Key. The only columns we need to be performed in the file are: Document Number, Item Number, Item Description, amount, Delivery time.
Can anyone clarify how can this be done?

Okay, I'm looking to perform the song 'Are You In?' by Incubus with some friends, and here's what I want to do...
I have my guitar plugged into a Behringer UCG102 Guitar Link
The link is then plugged into my MacBook running GarageBand
I have an amp preset saved in the program with the 'Blue Echo' delay pedal
While playing, I want to be able to use my external MIDI USB keyboard (Akai MPK25) to control the 'Time' and 'Repeats' knobs on the virtual pedal.
Otherwise, i'm gonna have to keep switching between playing guitar and clicking on the screen and then moving the mouse around frantically.
How can I do this? And is it even possible in GarageBand?
If not in GarageBand, is it possible to do the same in Logic Pro?
My Akai keyboard did come with a piece of software to control the keyboard from the computer. It allows me to save different presets and upload them to it. For the knobs on my keyboard, the software has the option to enter numbers next to each knob for 'CC', 'Low' and 'Hi'

How can I get the Iso 5 off my iPad

I got the new iso 5 update and it change the music set up to a **** one that I have to see album artwork when in the artist cuz it will not let me put het in list form. There is no play all button when I pick an artist and want to hear songs of multiple cd's. When I pick a song to use the genius button I can not look at the list that was just made to see what the upcoming songs are going to be.
Apple go back to the old format for the music player.

In artist view you can select an artist and then play all of his/her/their tracks - just start the first track playing and it should go through the rest of them; aslo after you've started the first track playing you can then shuffle the remainingg tracks via the shuffile icon that will appear at the top of the screen.

How can I repair the minor damage done to my HDX16 laptop case?

I own a HP HDX16-1140US laptop. I accidentally bumped the right corner against a door and the plastic piece protecting the USB port, laptop lock, and AC port came off. Super Glue is not a good idea. I would disassemble it and see if I could not get the pieces to snap back into place. Everything is held in with snaps. Have the snap tabs been broken? if so I guess you can use Super Glue but keep it as far from any circuitry as you can. Here is the Manual:
