  • How can I use CWGraph3D for Visual C++,How the Variant operate?

    I have a VC++ project that use CWGraph3D to show data.
    How I use it's method Plot3DCurve(VARIANT& xVector,...)
    what's the VARIANT type.
    How do I use the VARIANT type to do this job?

    Thank you for response this question so soon.
    Because I do not have Measurement Studio for VC++,
    I do not have CNiVector data type.
    Now I have CCWSafeArray from Chris Matthews,
    National Instruments.
    I could use it's contructor and AccessData() method
    to create an array like this:
    double xArray[3]={0,1,2};
    double yArray[3]={0,1,2};
    double zArray[3]={7,8,9};
    double wArray[3]={0,0,0};
    CCWSafeArray xSafeArray(xArray,3);
    CCWSafeArray ySafeArray(yArray,3);
    CCWSafeArray zSafeArray(zArray,3);
    CCWSafeArray wSafeArray(wArray,3);
    m_Graph.Plot3DCurve(xSafeArray,ySafeArray,zSafeArray,wSafeArray);
    It works very well.
    But now I would like to use Plot3DSurface() method.
    I write C++ code like this:
    double xArray[3]={0,1,2};
    double yArray[3]={0,1,2};
    dou
    ble zMatrix[3][3]={{1,2,3},{4,5,6}.{7,8,9}};
    double wMatrix[3][3]={0};
    CCWSafeArray xSafeArray(xArray,3);
    CCWSafeArray ySafeArray(yArray,3);
    CCWSafeArray zSafeArray2D(zArray,3,3);//error line
    CCWSafeArray wSafeArray2D(wArray,3,3);//error line
    m_Graph.Plot3DSurface(xSafeArray,ySafeArray,zSafeArray2D,wSafeArray2D);
    It could not work.Complier tell me:
    error C2664: '__thiscall CCWSafeArray::CCWSafeArray(unsigned short,long,long,long)' : cannot convert parameter 1 from 'double [3][3]' to 'unsigned short'
    I don't know what's wrong.

  • I'm afraid I may have a trojan.  How can I detect it for sure, and how can I get rid of it?

    Hi,
    Using Safari, I typed "gmail" into the URL field, as I always do, and another website came up predictively from just the letters "gm".  This is a website I know I have never been to, GMF, Inc.  I am the only person using this computer, so I know it was not in the history from another user.  In fact, I have not been able to find the GMF website anywhere in my history.  Also, sometimes when I use Safari, I see little white boxes that flash, and they look like they are websites loading, but then disappearing.  There was a software update that was supposed to cure "white flashes" in Safari, but it did not work in my case.  What can I do?  Do I have to reinstall the system software?  (BTW, using OS 10.6.8 on Macbook Pro 13").  Thank you!

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Third-party system modifications are a common cause of usability problems. By a “system modification,” I mean software that affects the operation of other software -- potentially for the worse. The following procedure will help identify which such modifications you've installed. Don’t be alarmed by the complexity of these instructions -- they’re easy to carry out and won’t change anything on your Mac.
    These steps are to be taken while booted in “normal” mode, not in safe mode. If you’re now running in safe mode, reboot as usual before continuing.
    Below are several lines of text in monospaced type, which are UNIX shell commands. They’re harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. If you have doubts about the safety of running these commands, search this site for other discussions in which they’ve been used without any report of ill effects.
    Some of the commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then either copy or drag it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
    Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. The other steps should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.
    To begin, launch the Terminal application; e.g., by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. A text window will open with a line already in it, ending either in a dollar sign (“$”) or a percent sign (“%”). If you get the percent sign, enter “sh” (without the quotes) and press return. You should then get a new line ending in a dollar sign.
    Step 1
    Copy or drag -- do not type -- the line below into the Terminal window, then press return:
    kextstat -kl | awk '!/com\.apple/{printf "%s %s\n", $6, $7}'
    Post the lines of output (if any) that appear below what you just entered (the text, please, not a screenshot.)
    Step 2
    Repeat with this line:
    sudo launchctl list | sed 1d | awk '!/0x|com\.(apple|openssh|vix)|org\.(x|postfix|ntp|cups)/{print $3}'
    This time, you'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning.
    Step 3
    launchctl list | sed 1d | awk '!/0x|com\.apple|org\.(x|openbsd)/{print $3}'
    Step 4
    ls -1A /e*/mach* {,/}L*/{Ad,Compon,Ex,Fram,In,Keyb,La,Mail/Bu,P*P,Priv,Qu,Scripti,Servi,Spo,Sta}* L*/Fonts 2> /dev/null
    Important: If you synchronize with a MobileMe account, your me.com email address may appear in the output of the above command. If so, anonymize it before posting.
    Step 5
    osascript -e 'tell application "System Events" to get name of every login item'
    Remember, steps 1-5 are all drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste, whichever you prefer -- no typing, except your password. Also remember to post the output.
    You can then quit Terminal.

    Your one-year warranty includes replacement coverage for a defective battery. You can extend your coverage to two years from the date of your iPad purchase with the AppleCare Protection Plan for iPad. During the plan’s coverage period, Apple will replace the battery if it drops below 50% of its original capacity. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers a battery replacement for $99, plus $6.95 shipping, subject to local tax. Apple disposes of your battery in an environmentally friendly manner.

    I've bought used MacBooks off of eBay for my family, nine of them so far over the last 6 years. I've bought 8 batteries off of eBay sellers, just going with the cheapest. Only had one with a problem, it gave out after 6 cycles. That one was replaced under the warranty by the seller. The only other batteries that have been a problem were Apple branded batteries that started bulging. I've had two of those happen.
