How can i reset a Upgrade with sapehpi-tool
I will reset my upgrade to ERP EHP5 with sapehpi.
The upgrade is currently in the Preprocessing-phase.
But when i in the gui menu bar choose EHP_Installation -> Reset Upgrade
i become following message: "Resetting the EHP-Installation is not possible".
What can i do ???

1.
Make sure that the installation GUI displays the Back andNext buttons, which indicates that SAPehpi is not in a dialog phase. If it is in a dialog phase, the GUI displays the Repeat, Init, and Exit buttons. In this case, choose Exit before resetting the enhancement package installation.
2.
From the GUI menu bar, choose EHP InstallationReset Installation.
When you reset the installation, error messages are displayed stating that SDT requests could not be executed. You can ignore these messages.
3.
Delete the installation directory
Ensure you apply note 1518145 before reset to avoid any errors.

Is there any way around this?You can't. Get your money back. It's useless to you. Nothing he could "sign" would do you any good. The only way Apple will intervene is if you have the original proof of purchase from an authorized source. If he won't or can't take care of the problem and won't give you a refund, turn the phone over to the police and give them all the information you can on the seller. It's likely it's stolen if he can't remove the lock.

How can I reset the "open with" dialog?
When I select a file and choose "open with," certain applications are tripled, such as TextEdit, Preview, Quicktime Player, and Safari, while others are doubled, such as ColorSync Utility and others. Some are only listed once. I'm wondering if there is a way to reset this menu so that each applicable application is only listed once.

How can i reset an ipad with icloud that i dont have a password to? iOS7
My Dad bought an iPad 2 from a pawn shop and didnt check it because it was on the set up screen. When he gave it to me as a gift i went through the usial set up process but when i got to the icloud set up screen it asks for a password to someone elses account. And when i connect it to iTunes it tells me "This iPad is currently linked to an Apple ID" so i cant even acess it through itunes.
I would return the iPad but they wont take it back because they say that there is to returns on used items.
Is there anyway that i could link it to my account instead or do anything about it?
I Know that its a iPad 2, 16gb, wifi only, with iOS7. also know the serial # thats on the back if that is needed.Either the original owner didn't clear the iPad correctly or it was stolen. In either case you will not be able to set it up without the original owners Apple ID and password.

Boot to the Recovery HD:

Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. I currently have Leopard, and there are no longer updates for it. So I must upgrade to either Snow Leopard or Mountain Lion. Without doing so I cannot update my itunes, and my ipod is no longer compatile with my mac. How can I buy the upgrade, since I do not have access to the mac store as that comes with Snow Leopard? I went to Best Buy and they said neither Snow Leopard or Mountain Lion can be bought there.

iPhone 4s will not boot after trying to install ios7 beta 4. Stops at apple logo with progress line under it. how can I reset it or get it back up to do a restore then try the iOS 7 beta 4 install again. Issue was probably caused by disconnection

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
