How can i reset my notification center preferences and settings without doing a full reset?
I have already tried the option Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

I am trying to reset all the settings under the menu 'Settings > Notification Center'.
For example if i customised the Mail notifications so that it didn't display an update when i got an email, i would like to reset this. However i don't want to have to manually reset each app which i customised the notification settings for induvidually.

Boot from your recovery partition by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.

you can reset the input source to Spanish by selecting the Keyboard pane of System Preferences, selecting the Input Sources tab, and pressing the “+” button in the lower-left corner to select one of the Spanish input sources. The “Spanish – ISO” input source is most similar to the physical Spanish keyboard layout.

If the mistake is in your primary address and it is a me/mac address, then unfortunately you cannot change it. Otherwise:
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

I know that one can change each individual web page (that reset defaults back to 100%) and, alternatively and apparently one can load an add-on to fix the default size at Full Zoom.

You can "zoom" all sites using this add-on: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ NoSquint]. After setting your global zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites.

How can I reset the screen colors/resolution on an old white macbook?

My screen shows neon colors and a zigzag shapes. How can I reset the color resolution? This laptop was supposedly fixed but when returned all my data had been "lost". The certified mac tech said he reinstalled the OS but lost all my desktop files and HD and couldn't recover. ODDLY, when I started the machine and started fresh, my old hard drive was still there! Although he'd wiped out my current desktop files- gone. But, the screen colors went wonky all of the sudden and I don't know how to resert or correct the resolution. Can any one share a suggestion?

With that kind of issue after returning from a repair where a tech was inside the computer, it should be returned to the same place for an evaluation of the problem, a diagnosis, and perhaps they need to check their work to see if something came loose while they had it apart.
The System Preferences> Displays has a panel to select settings.
You may have to try & see about a reset of System Management Controller http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 Or, if reset of NVRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379 may help. Not sure if these would do anything if there is hardware damage.

      Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
      should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
      security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
      selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
      should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
      questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Is this the mac app store version? A number of people are having this problem. This is what adobe recommended in the past for fixing the problem, but as far as I know it doesn't work in Yosemite:

I had my MacBook Air attached to an Exchange server that populated my Reminders. I decided I no longer wanted that connection so I deleted it. The items in Reminder were deleted, but the badge that shows 7 due reminders remains. How can I clear the notification bedge on Remonders?

Never mind. I got it. I went into Notifications on Systems Preferences and I turned off all notifications for Reminders. The badges disappearded. I closed System Preferences and open Reminders. Just to be sure. I closed Reminders and open Systems Preferences, re-enabled all notifications for Reminders. The badges did not show up again.

Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. Your issue may not have anything to do with your files, it could be a corrupted cache file, reinstalling your OS and files from backup could be overkill and too much work.
Run ALL of the free OnyX's checks, cleaning and maintainence aspects (not the log files) and reboot at the end.
