How can i restore my ipod touch 4g (?) without passcode or itunes

Hi and thank you for helping as this is urgent.
I forgot my passcode for my iPod, and guessed it to many times so it got disabled.
The problem is I don't have iTunes and can't get it on my laptop, but need to restore my device. Right now on the screen it has a photo of a USB cord, an arrow, and the iTunes symbol. So, how can I restore my iPod touch without my passcode or iTunes?

Right now you can't without a computer. Once you get to a computer you can restore it using DFU mode.

You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabilng the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Next, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials.
If possible, either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync. To do this, right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

How can I restore my iPod touch data to a new hard drive when the old one crashed

My computer crashed and I want to put the contents of my iPod Touch back on the new hard drive. How do I do this without accidentally Syncing and copying over my data? The vast majorioty of the music on my iPod is my own from DCs I own.

I just bought my iPod Touch (4th Generation 8GB) from my friend and the home button doesn't work. Then, my parents took it away for about 6 months and I just got it back and I forgot my password. That's a pretty clear indication that it's stolen. If the seller won't refund your money, file a claim with eBay. If that doesn't pan out, then turn it over to the police and give them all the information you have on the seller. Maybe if you tell the seller you're going to do that, they'll be more inclined to refund your money rather than face criminal charges.

How can I use my iPod Touch as a remote for iTunes, while connected via USB?

I was wondering if I could use my iPod touch as a remote/iTunes extension while it is connected to my computer via usb.
It would be highly practical to control my music from there, since it is charging right by my side while I'm at my computer.
Remote is not really an option, my computer doesn't have bluetooth or any connectivity. Something over wifi would work, but there's a usb connection right there that's begging to be used.

You can't do it via USB. Go to the App store and download/install the Apple Remote app. It can control iTunes on your computer via wifi.

Sorry there is no way to retrieve your lost pictures if you haven't backed up since 2013.
No software will recover those lost photos.
Did you at the very least import your pics to your computer as you would a digital camera?
