How can I restore my Windows Live Hotmail to its previous good performance?

All of a sudden I cannot reply to incoming emails or send attachments on my Windows Live Hotmail account. It works perfectly on my PC but not on this laptop. Have I pressed something in error? It will receive incoming emails, and I can send new emails but cannot continue a thread?

In my opinion its not a Toshiba notebook issue
In your case I would recommend checking the configuration of your Hotmail account
Maybe you have to change something I recommend checking the Hotmail user support page.

Don't tell me I didn't read the FAQ, I know they talk about that but apparently this FAQ is older than my grandmother, links don't work anymore or when they do, the applications are no longer maintained.
Plus pop3 should work now with Windows Live Hotmail.
Anyway, when I try, the authentication is ok, but I get an exception saying that my mailbox is not available or something like that (I can give you the exact message when I am back on Eclipse).
My code works for gmail, yahoo, and other simple webmails.
So, today, at the end of 2008, is there someone who is able to read his Windows Live Hotmail emails thanks to Javamail (or any other Java API)?

I am using iMovie 10.0.4 and today I think I accidentally clicked "X" button on project frame of iMovie. Now the screen is split in two pieces (player above and project below) instead of three frames in the default layout. I clicked "Revert to Original Layout" in Window menu of iMovie but nothing happened. Moreover, I cannot click "Swap Project and Event" since it became passive after whatever I have done.
How can I revert the layout to default three-frame-view? Thank you in advance.

The lower pane shows the currently loaded event. To restore a project timeline click on the event containing the project (or "All projects") in the Libraries column and double-click the project.

I can't open my windows live/ hotmail e-mails when using firefox but other browsers work

i just downloaded mozilla firefox and it wont allow me to open my e mails. i have a windows live e mail. the page loads and lets me go to my inbox and other folders but i can't open e mails or delete them. if i use another browser like internet explorer i have no problems. i uninstalled mozilla and re downloaded it to see if it would help but there was no change.

* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

You can set the window transparency with something like:
theWindow's setBackgroundColor:(current application's NSColor's clearColor)
theWindow's setOpaque:false
I haven't seen a way using public APIs to blur behind the window, but I'm not sure about using ASObjC with stuff like Core Image, anyway.
You might also try something like setting the background to a gray color and play with the grayscale and alpha values (colorWithCalibratedWhite:0.0 alpha:0.2, for example).

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

You can directly set your email for Windows on your Iphone. Go to settings and then Mail. You should be able to add your email over there. All your email will appear on your Iphone.Firefox has nothing to do with your email from what I know. But if you want your bookmarks,tabs etc then getting Firefox Home app would be a good idea.Its not a browser but it will help you sync your bookmarks/tabs etc.

I never had a problem before and have always used Mozilla Firefox as my browser. The Firefox4 also looks different since I changed it. No Google bar in the center, or the Mozilla logo.

You can do a test if it works in Private Browsing mode. In PB mode the disk cache isn't used and also the currently saved cookies are not available.
You can enter Private Browsing mode if you select:
* Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
*Check-mark: [X] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"
Close the Options window and open the Hotmail log in page.
You can remove the check-mark ([ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode") to leave PB mode.
If that works the it is possible that there is problem with the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies in the Firefox Profile Folder.
You can rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

So what I did was, I had bought my iMac from a shop and asked them to do bootcamp for me. However, they installed 32 bit instead of 64. My fault, I did not make my self clear about it. So after it has been delivered to my house, I realized that I wanted the 64 bit. I tried to remove windows on bootcamp but honestly, I have not experienced this before. So I failed. I believe, I did something wrong.
So I opened the iMac and it keeps asking me to go to windows. Windows OS also corrupted.
I tried the Option Key but the only option is Windows 7 only. So using a different keyboard, I press option and it only shows Windows HDD and the Mac HDD has gone.
What am I going to do? How can I restore Mac OS without the HDD anymore?

In Windows Live Hotmail, the tabs/elements constantly reload. Can you fix this?

The buttons/elements on the side of the inbox page constantly reload, while I'm reading a message and when I try to go back to inbox, it automatically switches back to the message I was reading before.
Please fix this!
