where did you guys put the bookmarks toolbar in this new firefox?
how can i get it back?

Hi ronbar59, when you're in the Customize mode, can you confirm that "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is on the correct bar and not somewhere else in the interface?

How can I restore the safari toolbar on my ipad? I have read all the threads on this and I am stumped. I have no access to View as I have no toolbar. I also do not have a Customize button or a CNTL button on the online key board.

There is no View toolbar on Safari on the iPad - there are icons for forward and back a page, bookmarks, and print/email/add bookmark. To open a new tab press the '+' to theright of the current tabs

for example: say i write a paragraph. then, in a weird some sort of way an involuntary gap suddenly appears between different letters of random words(i did not recognize any pattern to the gap appearing) throughout the entire paragraph. once i've double clicked on that paragraph, and made a minor change, lets say tapped a 'space' key, and then clicked ctrl+z to undo, it has aligned(or fixed) the entire paragraph and made it look ok again. i've tried numerous ways to undo the entire thing, but cannot find the reason. i've been working for a few years and there's no reason why this thing all of a sudden should happen right now.
if anyone has stumbled on something like that and can advise, i would welcome it.

yep...i'm typing with hebrew. i'll make a printscreen with the settings you've asked for@:
if you look closely you'll see that almost every line has a single letter apart. in hebrew there is no usually a singe letter structured words.

The first suggestion didn't seem to do anything at all, but the second suggestion helped a little, and restored some of the original view. The thing is, I'm pretty sure (but not positive) that the first button I pressed, which was to the bottom right of the main working area, was a screen mode button, judging from the screem mode icon that appears when I use Google images. It happened quick, so I can't be sure, but it seemed to enlarge the working area and maybe removed buttons or something. Do you know if there are any screen shots anywhere that I could maybe see what the default is suppose to look like? Thanks for your help.

How can I restore the library & files that were previously on my Nano?

Here's what happened... I hooked the Nano up to my computer at work to listen to it & charge it, but could not click on any of the music. Somehow I ended up with a prompt to "update the library" with a "yes" or "no" choice. I thought updating the library meant that the files on my Nano would create a list on the work computer's empty library so that I could play the files from my Nano. I did not expect it to transfer any files!!!! There was NO WARNING THAT IT WOULD ERASE INFORMATION!!!!! What then happened was horrible. The empty library on my work computer overwrote my Nano!!!!!! So now I have lost all of my files that I was planning to listen to on my flight to Spain tomorrow. I have been searching desperately to try to restore the files on my Nano, but have not been able to find an answer. I was planning to learn Spanish from the files on my Nano during my flight there! Now the Nano has wasted the money I spent on the Spanish CD's, the Nano and the ridiculously expensive & numerous separate accessories! This incident has really made me hate the Nano (which was given to me as a Christmas present). It has caused me nothing but pain & expense in buying junk for it and now trying to recover files without any good information on the Apple website! Why????? I thought Apple was user friendly before this Nano!

Using the Finder or My Computer, you can't copy these song files from your iPod back to iTunes or to any other computer. The synchronization between your iPod and your computer is always one way: from iTunes to iPod.
If you've erased the music library on your computer, there's no way to use the Finder or My Computer to copy the songs from your iPod to reconstitute the library on your computer. One solution is to encode the songs from your CD collection again, then sync your new library with iPod. If you purchased songs from the iTunes Music Store and didn't back them up, there's no way to download them again. You'll have to buy new copies of the songs."

If you have accidentally removed bookmarks then use "Organize > Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) to get them back.
The Organize button is the first of the three buttons on the toolbar in the Library (Bookmarks Manager).
That only works if you haven't closed Firefox.
Otherwise you need to restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup.
That will replace all the current bookmarks and you lose bookmarks that were added since that backup was created.

It seems like I have to choose between icon, icon and text, or text for all of the toolbars. I want it to look like it did with my old version of Firefox. In technical support, sometimes you have to make educated guesses. I'm sorry that you were offended.
iTunes does prompt when it is going to erase a device, and the message is clear.
She said in her message that she was able to successfully sync the old ipad. This indicated to me that itunes wiping the data was not an issue, because either it had been setup at the apple store (in which case it doesn't actually wipe the ipad despite saying it will*) (*based on a single case I saw), or because the itunes media folder was migrated.
Furthermore, my solution was to tell her how to backup her ipad (by either doing it manually, or as a last resort, by deleting the corrupt backup -- that she couldn't access anyway.)
I got that last part of the instructions from the "Taking Control of your iphone" book which I found samples of when I did a google search for "corrupted backup itunes".
She marked this as a solution, so it worked for her.

Did you try creating a folder of your bookmarks then drag the folder to your Desktop.
The Finder will automatically alphabetize the folder content.
Drag back to Safari.
