How can I restore the safari toolbar on my ipad?

How can I restore the safari toolbar on my ipad? I have read all the threads on this and I am stumped. I have no access to View as I have no toolbar. I also do not have a Customize button or a CNTL button on the online key board.

There is no View toolbar on Safari on the iPad - there are icons for forward and back a page, bookmarks, and print/email/add bookmark. To open a new tab press the '+' to theright of the current tabs

Hi ronbar59, when you're in the Customize mode, can you confirm that "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" is on the correct bar and not somewhere else in the interface?

Thanks so much for taking the time to write that out for me Barbara . The first suggestion didn't seem to do anything at all, but the second suggestion helped a little, and restored some of the original view. The thing is, I'm pretty sure (but not positive) that the first button I pressed, which was to the bottom right of the main working area, was a screen mode button, judging from the screem mode icon that appears when I use Google images. It happened quick, so I can't be sure, but it seemed to enlarge the working area and maybe removed buttons or something. Do you know if there are any screen shots anywhere that I could maybe see what the default is suppose to look like? Thanks for your help.

How can I change the Safari toolbar for easier reading?

Just about everything on iMac can be adjusted for us old timers, except the Safari tool bar. The favorites bar has print which cannot be read without a magnifying glass. Placing grey type on a grey background compounds the problem. I am helping my older brother transition to Mac from PC via phone support, and he almost gives up. Changing browsers should not be necessary.

Apple dosnt allow you to downgrade the ios (os) version, but with some programs you can downgrade, but they can sometimes be risky and they are not apple sertified, either google and find a program, or maybe take it inot a apple store or call up apple.

Go up to the main Safari menu bar above, and select "View."
Then when that bar comes down, select "Customize Toolbar."
Then select the arrow icon, and just drag it into your toolbar.

You cannot customize the Safari toolbar on the iPad.
What you can do on the iPad is go to Settings>Safari>Always show Bookmarks Bar>On and that will add a bookmarks bar on to the Safari browser.

There is no brightness toolbar unless your iPhone is jailbroken. If so, you can try to restore to remove the JB.
The only place brightness exists is under Settings.

If you have accidentally removed bookmarks then use "Organize > Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) to get them back.
The Organize button is the first of the three buttons on the toolbar in the Library (Bookmarks Manager).
That only works if you haven't closed Firefox.
Otherwise you need to restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup.
That will replace all the current bookmarks and you lose bookmarks that were added since that backup was created.
