How can I retrieve music tracks from the cloud?

I deleted music from my library expecting it to now be available in the cloud.
When I search in purchased items in iTunes and click on the item, it tells me that the original file is no longer available.
I am not expecting the file to be available just the music track/album etc.
How can I retrieve music tracks from the cloud?

At the present time, you can't hide or delete an app from your purchased list on your phone. Prior to iOS 6 you could hide it; there has never been an option to delete it.

I had this problem as well. You can't delete them but you can hide them by swiping across from the cloud to. The other side then pressing hide

Your post is kind of confusing. You have a new phone and don't have a phone to transfer to?? With the phone that died. If that phone was using Verizon Cloud to back up. Then when you activating Verizon Cloud on the new phone, one of the steps would ask, do you want to transfer from old phone to new phone?
If you had nothing backed up with Verizon Cloud on the old phone there would be nothing to restore to the new phone.
When activating Verizon Cloud on the new phone, only what is currently showing on the new phone will be able to be backed up, along with what is added in the future.

We inadvertantly deleted all photos from the Ipod not realizing it would also delet them on the PC Stream. Is there any way to retrieve them?

I recently had a problem with my mac and had to archive my stuff and put the operating system back on my computer.
I 'lost' everything however I have been able to get some things back from the time capsule (airport) from previous backups. I can not find my photo's and they are the most important things I want back on my computer.
Can anyone help? I have tried various things but still can't find them.

If you did an Archive and Install, look for your "Previous System" folder and check for iPhoto in it.

HT2729 how can I access music downloaded in the cloud that I want to remove ? It only appears to hide it.

When I select the music I wan to remove the only option is to hide it. Please tell me if there is a way to login to the cloud so I can remove it there.
