I purchased lightroom 6 not too long ago, I am now trying to install it again on a new computer. I lost my serial number so i can't.

This is a user-to-user forum, I'm afraid - you're not talking to Adobe.
The link I've provided points to the location of (among other things) the serial number location on your old computer: if you don't have access to that, your only other option (assuming you registered Lightroom on your account page on Adobe.com) is to check your online account for registered software; or, if you bought via downoad from Adobe, to check your account for the transaction details.

My MacPro was stolen. How can I retrieve the serial number?

My 3.5 yr Macbook Pro was stolen and I didn't record the serial number. I need it for the police. Who can I contact at Apple to see if they have my number? I financed the computer through Apple.
Is there some kind of internal tracking device in the MacPro that can lead me (the police) to finding it? I did not install any tracking device on it, but didn't know if it came with one already built in- like the Iphones have.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
I'm Desperate and am sick that I didn't record it in advance.

If you registered your computer with Apple & setup a support profile, you can login & retrieve your SN there. If you didn't do such, you can try calling AppleCare.
If you didn't setup Find My Mac or similar before your computer was stolen, there is no way to track it. Change all of your passwords, report the loss to the police & your insurance company.

Hi everyone, I recently Lost my ipod nano at work. How can i recover my serial number. I did register the ipod throgh itunes. Is there a way I can get my serial number incase someone at my work finds it and returns it so i can give security my serial number to prove that it is my ipod? thanks

Sadly, there isn't much else Apple can do for you in this situation. However, I can tell you that there are a few other methods that can be used to retrieve your iPod's serial number other than from off the unit itself. Check out this Apple support document for more information. Hope it helps.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

It seems it was never registered to your Apple ID.
Do you have an iTunes backup of the iPad?

If you registered the software you should be able to find the serial number thru your Adobe account online.
