How can I "reverse" my clip in FCP?

Hey Folks,
Just wondering what efx in FCP reverses the clip? I tried looking in my video filter but i couldn't find it? I see alot of clips that have a reverse but I always wanted to try to do it i n FCP and I just dont know what to do... any help??

Reverse as in run backwards? Or reverse as in flopped horizontally (left side becomes the right side)?
For running backwards, Command j will bring up the Speed dialog window where you can check the Reverse box (also accessible through Modify->Speed menu). If you just want to flip it, go to Video Filters->Perspective->Flop.

You do not want to edit material from different frame rates on one timeline. You CAN do this, but it is a very bad idea - and this is why.
Once you establish the sequence frame rate - lets say it is PAL material at 25fps, any material that you drop into the sequence other than 25 fps will have to be changed to play at 25 fps. If the material you add is NTSC (29.97), FCP will DROP 5 frames per sec to bring the frame rate down to 25 fps. Which 5 get thrown away? Every 6th one. This yields a funky cadence that becomes even more complex as as there are also interlaced fields (DV/NTSC is an interlaced format). Oh, and by the way, the image sizes are different as well. DV/PAL has 576 lines of resolution and DV/NTSC has 480. FCP has to scale up the NTSC to fit the PAL frame.
You do not want FCP adjusting these things on the fly. You want to do a thoughtful (and time consuming) conversion so that you end up with all your material in one format with the best possible image from the conversion process. Compressor can do an adequate job with Frame Controls turned on. The Natress Standards Conversion FCP plugin is another way to go. A third option is to find a post house that can do the conversion for you using a hardware based process.
The good news is, once everything is in the same format, editing it will be painless and the output process very quick.
Whatever frame rate/ image size you select, I'd suggest using ProRes for the codec. It is 4:2:2 color and will withstand color correction and composting with much more grace than any variant of DV based codecs.

My friends and I made our own version of Pharrell Williams happy video and I'm trying to edit it. The thing is that there are places where we sing and we want the song to match our lips so how can I lock the clip in place? I'm very new to editing and FCP so please write detailed directions.

I set Markers (keyboard: m) to the original edit-points
I have the pre-selections of my material in the Events browser, set edit-mode to 'video only'/shift-2
set playhead to marker (magnetic is a good help), hit q
'fine tune' the edit (edit/colors/effects/...)
select clip and cmd-shift-arrow-down to apply final edit to the storyline
jump to next marker (ctrl-' )
That is a very fast way to 'dub' professional edits; and: I'm learning a lot, e.g. it is not only the edit-points, but the 'content' which makes a good edit 'flow' (which lacks my version) ...

If it's just a clip, you can simply go to the other project and Add Media/From Files and Folders.
But if it's a part of your movie -- say a sequence of clips or a clip that's had effects added to it -- you technically can't cut and paste betweeen projects in Premiere Elements. However, some people have been able to do it using the third party program ClipMate, available online.

What I did was create a playlist for the podcasts and keep it sorted in reverse date order, which puts the oldest first. To prevent it from automatically playing the next podcast, I actually mark all podcasts as "skip when shuffling", and then play in shuffle mode. I also make sure all my podcasts have a genre of "podcast"; I discovered that if you use media type, the playlist doesn't update correctly on the iPod classic
So, what I've got is a playlist of the form: (play count = 0) and (genre = podcast), sorted in reverse date order.

If you have synced your iPhone before this, then a backup should have been created. Right click on the device in the sidebar and click restore from backup and then select your last sync if it is available. Otherwise, if you have a GSM iPhone (AT&T model in the US) try going to settings, mail, contacts and calendars, and in the contacts section tap import SIM contacts. This has sometimes worked for me in the past as the contacts are sometimes saved to your sim card when you create them.

How can we reverse an inter-org transfer?

Hi
We have a problem with an inter-org transfer. The intransit shipment has been created to an intransit receipt and the receipt didnt create "RECEIVE" and "DELIVER" transactions. It only created "RECEIVE" so we corrected the quantity and made the receipt to zero.
The problem now is this item/receipt is shown in the expected receipts report.
How can we reverse or cancel the shipment?
Any ideas please?

What metalink says is correct.
Option 1: Deliver it in the destination and reverse the transaction by doing one more org transfer from B to A. Clean way.
Option 2: If your FOB point in the shipping network is Receiving, then you can probably apply a data script. You need to delete the mtl_supply and then perform miscellaneous receipt crediting intransit account and debiting inventory account. If your FOB point is shipping, your accounting has touched more accounts (if transfer pricing is involved even one more) hence this method is not recommended.
I am not sure how many more applications you have in your instance that are dependent like manufacturing and service applications.
If they are installed, as you can see the first approach is clean.

If the payment is done and accounting documents are created, then you have to use FB08 for reversal(FBRA for reset)
If the invoices are at proposal level, you can delete the proposal(EditProposal-Delete)
