Hi, does your step dad have a smartphone or tablet? If he does he can load the Skype app and connect to the wifi in his home.If he doesn't have a smartphone then look into getting an Android smartphone from wherever you buy phones from in your country. An entry level device will be sufficent if you don't want to spend much money. You can buy a Skype compatible regular phone but they are not cheap and have to be connected by ethernet to your home router http://dualphone.net/ Another option is to forward his Skype number to his landline (if he has one) and answer the calls there, then use his laptop to make outgoing calls when needed. You do need to have an iPhone on the same Wifi network though. But any call from any phone (does not need to be an iPhone) that can come in to your iPhone, can be picked up on a supported iPad or Mac.

Sorry, unless you specifically backed up the places.sqlite file in your Profile folder, that data is gone and all but impossible to recover without using a data recovery program.

If you have the latest iOS 7 installed on your phone follow the below steps,
Settings>>Phone>>Blocked (Here you can add numbers which you would like to block)

Assuming those imessage was included in your icloud or iTunes backup - you will need to restore from that backup.

You may also be able to access https://store.apple.com/ in Safari, log into your account, and review recent purchases (and cancel any that haven't shipped yet).

Plug it into your computer. Tell it to sync with "this computer" instead of iCloud. You shouldn't have to remove any apps. Otherwise, you can save the app data by using i-FunBox ( http://www.i-funbox.com/ ) just go to the "devices" tab and select 'user applications' and select all of your apps and tell iFunBox to "copy to pc" you're done! You have them all backed up.

Sorry those pics might be gone, since you restored from your backup.
Only way possible if by some possibility you were able to backup your current data to itunes, then you can restore from that backup.
Open itunes - edit - preference - devices - backup - see if there is an up to date backup.
If you don't have one then sorry those pics are gone.
