The most obvious is to rotate your ipad. Much more fun is to go to settings> general> accessibility> assistive touch> on. Now go back to the pdf, tap the onscreen black button, tap device, tap rotate screen, choose which way you want to rotate screen.

Before upgrading you should always back up your devices. If there is any problem you can then restore to the backup. pdfs do not sync across all devices. To sync pdfs you need to connect your devices to your Mac, and depending on where the pdfs are located, you either transfer them to your Mac, or sync them from your Mac to the iPad and iPhone.

i import a number of pdf's representing ameeting agenda as the files names (1xxx,1.1xxxx, 2.xxxx,10.xxxx) on ibook , however the files sorted on a diffrent way as file start with 10 on first . so how can i sor the files on the IBook with its name starting with numbers as1 &1.1 and so on.

You seem to want a numeric sort but are getting a character sort.
a number range would be 0,1,2,3, ... 9,10,11 ...
sorting like everything else with computers is an algorithm. Someone needs to define how it works. When you see a list of files, someone has defined how the list will be sorted. If you compare Windows file sorting to Mac files sorting you will find there are differences.
In the case of files sorting, the files are sorted on characters from left to right. In file sorting the sorting algorithm does not try to determine that files are numbers. All files beginning with a 1 will be sorted together becuase the file sorting althorithm doesn't look at the second character position before grouping all the 1's together.
For what it is worth, there are multple books written on sorting.

Adobe Reader Touch (Windows Store app with "Modern" UI) for Windows 8 is a relatively new product, which was introduced in December 2012. Adobe Reader XI, X, or older is a completely separate product - a traditional desktop app with classic UI. The desktop version has been available in the market for 20 years (!!) and it does not share any common components with Adobe Reader Touch.

Placing the PDF into an InDesign document shouldn't be a problem, but if it is, please post back. What I think you're asking for is how to edit a PDF with InDesign, which can't be done. You would need the source document, edit that and then export to another PDF (if PDF is the end goal). There are some programs that can edit PDFs or convert PDFs to other formats (Word, InDesign, etc.), and they will work to one extent or another. You should expect to have to rework parts of it should you go that way. Keep in mind that PDF is generally considered a final document that isn't intended to be edited.

My suggestions is to download iBooks from the app store. It is made by Apple, it is free and you can store and email PDF files from it - amomh other things - such as downloading and reading books.
After you download iBooks, open the email that contains the PDF that you want to email. Tap and hold your finger down on the PDF icon. A window will pop up with an option to "open in iBooks". Select that option. The PDF will open and now be saved in iBooks. Then when the PDF opens in iBooks, tap the curved arrow icon in the rectangle at the top and select email. Your mail client will open up, Type your email and hit send like any other email.

Either use copy/paste and then format/style as desired, or take it to Pages or WORD and insert chapters - which may still require resettling.
If you're looking for a 1:1 port, with all styles and layout intact, you may be dissapointed, tho.

I was unable to delete a book sample from my iPhone 5s running iOS 7. This seems to be what worked for me. I went to the Library and clicked "edit" in upper right side of the screen. I then tapped one time on the book I wanted to remove and a blue check appeared at the bottom right corner of that book (presumably you could tap several at a time) Anyway, when the blue check is on the book, you will see in the upper left of the screen the word "Delete" (mine was in red) I clicked that and then a confirming dialog came up from the bottom of the screen with the choices of "delete" or "cancel". I chose "delete" and the book was gone. Hope this helps.

I have made a LabVIEW program where I have possibility to read a PDF document. When I made this LabVIEW program it was Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 that was installed on the PC. Lather when the Acrobat Reader was upgraded to version 6.0, there was an error when VI tries to launch the LabVIEW program. And Later again when we upgraded to Acrobat Reader 7.0.5 I must again do some changes and rebuild the EXE files again
It isn't so very big job to do the changes in one single LabVIEW program, but we have built a lot of LabVIEW programs so this take time to due changes every time vi update Acrobat Reader. (We have build EXE files.)
The job is to right click the ActiveX container and Click "Insert ActiveX Object", then I can brows the computer for the new version of acrobat Reader. After this I must rebuild all the "methods" in the Activex call to make the VI executable again.
Is there a way to build LabVIEW program so I don't have to do this job every time we update Acrobat Reader?
This LabVIEW program is written in LabVIEW 6.1, but I se the problem is the same in LabVIEW 8.2.
