How can i run a version of Logic 7 on mac OS X 10.9.2?

Hi.
I am running Logic Pro X on a Macbook Pro 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 running OS X 10.9.2.
However, I have some very old but crucial Logic files from the Logic 4/5 days and need to convert them to my current version of Logic Pro X via Logic 7.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to instal or run a version of Logic 7 on my Macbook Pro 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 running OS X 10.9.2?
Also, does anyone know where I can find a version of Logic 7 (Pro or Express)? Otherwise, I'll look on Torrent sites.

To find a copy of LP7 you would need to look for a copy on eBay.. However, the protection method used with LP7 no longer functions so you cannot register it and therefore you cannot use it. unless you have already registered LP7 yourself in the past using the security key dongle provided
Any version of LP7 from a torrent would be an illegal (and most likely non working) version due to the protection that was used at that time... and so posting about it here, was not be wise.
So.. thats why my previous answer was so brief... Simply put, you cannot use LP7 unless you already have a validated and registered security dongle... even if you found a copy of LP7 somewhere
The only practical solution is to find some kind soul who already has a working version of LP7 installed, that you can send the projects to... for them to do the conversion for you.
I would, but I no longer have LP7 installed here on any of my testbed Macs...

How can i run older versions of flash player on youtube etc without being prompted to update my flash player/not being able to use the old version?

Alright, so I decided to install the Firefox 4 beta 3 as a test sort of thing. But now it's set as the default browser, and, no matter what I do, I can't switch back to the old one! I can't use any of my old add-ons now!

If you are want to test pre-release versions of Fiefox it is best to use a different profile for each version, and then create shortcuts to launch Firefox using the correct profile for each version. Firefox store user data in profiles, pre-release versions of Firefox can make changes to the profile that cause it not to work in older versions of Firefox.

How can I run Safari version 8 in 32 bit mode?

I have a business application which requires Safari to run in 32 bit mode (Oracle E-Business). Before the holiday I upgraded from version 7 (which worked fine) to version 8 (which no loner works). I don't believe version 8 supports 32 bit mode. Is there a way to 'downgrade' back to version 7?

How can I enable 16 outs from Logic with Intel Mac Pro?

I am a bit new to the digital output world! I have a Digi002 with Logic 7 and I have a Behringer A/D converter box to recieve digital output using optical cable. My question is this: I can only see 8 normal stereo outputs plus additional 9-10 output. Is there a command in Logic (as per the old "enable 16 in/outs in 5.5)to allow the greyed out extra outputs to work? or I am being very stupid and not enabling some command on the Mac?

I see you're using a Behringer A/D converter. I had one of these once. It made a lot of noise: crackling, pops etc. I know that was the cause as they only happened on those 8 tracks.
I may have had a lemon, but if you get similar problems, (and I hope you don't) I have changed to the Alesis AI3 and now have no problems, it might be worth you making a mental note.

Do you know what version of Essbase you are running? that could help. You can find that in EAS. Right click on the server name and select edit ptoperties, then look on the environment tab. As a final measure, find the smartview.exe on yout machine right click and select properties. in one of the tabs there might be a version number

while I am exporting my Master repository and work repository then again importing the all , no problem comes all the physical logical schema mapping and mapping between interfaces retains but
while I am trying to export and import one or two packages on the ease of testing then I am getting so many mismatches manually I am setting all why so?

Hi. I am really starting to get frustrated about this!!! I recently bought a Macbook Pro to run Logic Pro 7.2.2 on using a digi002 rack interface. Everything seem to be working out right according to all settings both in audio/midi setup in mac-utlities, Logic and Protools. The problem is that I can't even run more than 8-9 audio tracks before cpu starts complaining! I really don't get it! I have updated to all the newest driver versions and my computer seems to find the digi002 with troubles at all..When I run Logic the same error always occurs: conlfict between Logic and external device! Midi and audio can't syncronize! I have also tried with another firewire cable to check on cableconnection between computer and interface, but it is still the same! I'm about to throw this piece of s... out my window! I didn't have any of these problems the G5 I had before! Other people I have talked with havn't had any problems with their macbook pro and running Logic so far...

Something isn't right in the DIgi kitchen. This comment has come up several times this week, mainly from Mbox owners, but also 002 users. I can't remember what version of Logic other people are using who are having problems, but I wonder if it's something with version 7.2.2 - the latest release. Have you got an older version you can go back to and see if that clears it? If you can get back to 7.2.1 have a go and let us know how you get on, it could answer a lot of problems for people out there in your situation.
