Long hold on the document in mail and it should give you the open in... option, select adobe reader and the file is now saved locally for viewing even while offline.

SMS. Deggie, had them check that. After a lengthy discussion with Senior Tech advisor, it appears it is iMessage/Face Time server (they are the same) issue, which will strong arm those into purchasing Data if they use iMessage over multiple devices, as the server registers the phone number associated with apple ID. How can I get to home screen from car dock menu when an app is running?

Just upgraded to the RAZR MAXX from a Droid 2 Global.
When the phone is mounted in the car dock and an app is running (Navi, Music, etc.), how can you get to the main home screen of the phone rather than the car dock menu?
Follow me......
* Phone is mounted in Car Dock.
* If there are NO apps running, pressing the BACK key from within the Car Dock Menu takes you directly to the Home screen.
However.....
* Phone is mounted in Car Dock.
* Navigation(or any app, for that matter) is running.
* Pressing MENU key takes me to Car Dock Menu.
* There's no exit option available to exit from car dock menu.
* Pressing BACK key takes you back to the app that's running, not the home screen.
* Long press of HOME key only takes you to an app list screen, not home screen.
* Only way to get to home screen is to repeatedly press the BACK button exiting out of the Car Dock Menu and cancelling all apps that are currently running.
On my Droid 2, I was able to quickly exit the Car Dock Menu simply by pressing the BACK or exit button, regardless of which or how many apps were running. They would still run in the background, showing on the status bar.
Anyone know of a work around? I couldn't find any settings to change within the Car Dock menu to change this. Stopped by three Verizon stores and they all say we have to be missing something, as they couldn't figure it out either. One rep told me it was a new "nanny" feature so that you couldn't access your apps while driving, however when I pointed out that you could access the home screen if no apps were running, he wasn't sure what to say.

I solved my problem eventually by getting all the devices - 2 iphones, the newish pc and the older Mac on icloud.
All media, calenders and messages were lost from the iphones, except for purchased itunes that I paid another $30 to Apple to save for me and also paid Appple some more to use icloud but the good news is I did save my contacts
I opened all of my contacts and pretty much had to edit and drag them over almost individually as they weren't all in some sort of configuration that Apple liked - i.e. if an email address ended in ch or es or de it might not be accepted as a properly configured vcard.
It would be nice if Apple made it a litle easier when you have older devices and need to get them in sync with newer ones.

I did that and selected the (beta) version that is necessary for downloading from YouTube. I installed the software including an add-on that I had to purchase from Apple, Quicktime MPEG2.dmg. When I try to run the software I get the following error message: File open error: can't open the file.

Guess the iOS isn't really all that it's cracked up to be, ignoring the wider world out there.
Your only choice to complain to Apple about closed devices they make, but of course they know this already and using the iPad as a cheap "netbook" halo effect device so you get to upgrade to a Mac, just like they do with iPhones and iPods.
In the meanwhile they are slowly closing the door on OS X, a little at a time so it's not noticeable.
Pretty soon the excuse will be "sorry I can't play your video you sent me mom, I've got a Mac"

Since I automated lots of frequently used code fragments in CC, I miss them a lot in the new release as they don't synchronize with other preferences and content.

You can do this pretty easily from the desktop without needing to install any kind of extension...
First, turn on your system's hidden folders, then...
OS > Users > Your user name > AppData (normally hidden) > Roaming > Adobe > Dreamweaver CC > your language > Configuration
Copy the entire Snippets folder there, then go to ...
OS > Users > Your user name > AppData (normally hidden) > Roaming > Adobe > Dreamweaver CC 2014 > your language > Configuration
Paste the Snippets folder
Done.

ICloud Contacts on iPad are Not the Same as the local Contacts on my iPhone..how can i put all my Contacts from iPhone into iCloud?

I want to have all my local iPhone Contacts in the cloud to have them also on my iPad.
iCloud only saved 36 from 225 total Contacts. My IPhone Contacts are saved on the iPhone itself, but how can I Transfer them into the cloud?

It's rather difficult to give you advice since you do not say what you have tried or anything about your networking equipment but your underlying problem may be that you are not really be properly connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet. Other devices on your network may still have a proper IP address and continue to function.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

Yeah, Firefox and Flash Player isn't a super stable combination on Windows 8.1 at the moment. We're collaborating closely with Mozilla to improve that, but that effort is going to happen over several months.
In the meantime, you might want to take a look at the other options. Microsoft invested a lot of time and effort into making the Flash experience on Win8.1 really good in IE, as did Google with Chrome.

Depends whether you have selected Lock when Full or Wrap when Full for the Buffer Mode. If you have selected Lock When Full, the capture will stop when the the buffer is full. You can then Save the Buffer and download it in the form of sniffer file and start you capture again. This will over write the old data. I actually wiped my 15" Mac pro, installed MtnLion and set it up with the me@gmail Apple ID (both icloud and itunes) just to get my previous itunes purchases. I downloaded about half, and then got sidetracked. Now when I go into itunes on it and try to download the rest, it says this computer is associated wth another apple id and can't download for 60 days!!!

Multiple people can indeed use multiple Apple IDs on the same computer in multiple user accounts as long as they do not use iTunes Match, automatic downloads or re-download any past purchases. However, if you'll read the KB article I posted a link to you'll see that for the purposes of those services a computer can only be associated with one Apple ID every 90 days. If the OP associates their friend's computer with their Apple ID and downloads purchases from the purchase history the owner of the computer will be locked out from using iTunes Match, automatic downloads or re-downloading any past purchases.
It's not that the friend will be unable to use iTunes at all, but what the OP wants to do will associate their friend's computer to thier Apple ID for 90 days which may cause the friend some inconvinence.
