How can I save my contact to my hotmail account

Hi - can anyone tell me how I can save my contacts to either my hotmail or 3g account? I'm not great with technology so I'm looking for the easiest way to do it.

have an explanation. If I read your error message it looks like "New Folder" is trying to create a folder ~kittie/Desktop/3 Working/Contact Pages. However, the automator "create folder" won't create folders recursively like that - it will only work if "3 Working" already exists. Certainly I was able to reproduce the 'quick flash error message and bomb out with no results' effect by asking it to produce a directory from one that didn't already exist. When I added two Finder actions it didn't work as I expected - producing 74 files in subdirectories that just looped round and round when I expected one file and one directory.
I added a shell script that renames the files too and it all works just dandy for me. If you let me know your e-mail I'll post the automator "app" file and shell script I use. It gives you sensibly named files instead of the sdkjfdfadkljfb.jpeg thing that comes out of automator.

It's really important since I can't save all my about 300 contacts again.

Several possibilities:
Transfer them from the Nokia SIM to your computer (you can get an adapter that will allow the SIM to be read by your computer). Then import them into a contacts app on your computer, and sync it to your iPhone.
Ask your carrier to transfer them to an flash drive, then import into an app on your computer.
Ask your carrier to copy the Nokia SIM to a nano SIM like the iPhone uses. Temporarily put it in the iPhone, then go to Settings/Import Contacts from SIM.
Carefully cut down the Nokia SIM so it fits the iPhone and use the import function mentioned.

How can I stop emails deleting on my hotmail account

My iphone 4 is set up to deliver my hotmail emails to my phone. The actions I take on my phone (e.g., deleting an email) are being replicated in my hotmail account on the server. I appreciate this is no bad thing except that both myself and my wife use the email account, hence there can be emails that I don't see because it has been deleted by my wife. This has only been hapening over the last 2-3 months. Prior to this, the actions taken on the phone did not affect the hotmail account on the server.
Can anybody advise if / how I can continue to receive emails to my phone, but the fact that I read or delete them not affect the main server?

How can i save iCloud contacts on my Mac?

I would like to save a few of my icloud contacts to my computer for off-line access. I do not want to edit or sync them. Is there a way to do this? I used to remember having "On My Mac" as an option on the left side panel. And also there was an "On My Mac" set up as a local account. But I can not find it anymore.
If I export the contacts as an Archive I am unable to open them without the archive replacing all of the contacts and I certainly don't want that to happen.
Any suggestions anyone?

How can I save a contact in gmail from my iphone 4s?

I just got the new I-phone 4s, when I pick up a new gmail, I sometimes need to save the email address in my "contacts" directly from my I-phone. I see where to reply and save the email, but I cant seem to put the actual email address in my contacts. How is this done? I'm brand new to smart phones, just got my first one a few days ago.

In the gmail to:/CC: field, touch on the name you want to add.
A new screen shows up, titled ''Recipient'', with the email address shown.
Underneath the email address of your contact you will see 2 choices:
Create new Contact
Add to existing contact
Choose whichever it is by touching, and then you are taken to the contacts book, where your new contact will be part-entered. Add whatever data you want then choose 'Done''

How can I save my contacts to other then the Outlook default

I am running on Windows XP Professional with SP3 and Office 2007 at my office. I have an iPhone 3G. My Outlook runs on a server that allows a limited amount of space and I have a local mail folder as well. Since my Outlook size is limited, I have most of my contacts in the local mail folder. Is there a way to tell iTunes to sync with the local personal folder instead of the default Contacts that is on the server? I was able to do this kind of thing before I switched to the iPhone.

I've tried printing as a MS XPS Documnet writer, which lets me save a file for single prints, but not contact sheets or picture packages. Thanks for any help.

You'll have to install it. It will then show up as a printer. It creates a pdf file of the contact sheet.

I had a Nokia phone and counted on PC Suite Ver 4.5 as backup for my contacts.
Now my phone is gone and I bought Non-Nokia phone. I want to export my contacts from PC Suite to synch them to the new phone but I can't find any export function on PC Suite.
Can My contacts be saved ?

There isn't an export function in PC Suite...
Not exactly sure if this will work but here's a suggestion anyhow...
Do you have a file named ContactsDB.mdb at the following location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\MPDB40
If so, you should be able to Import it into Outlook by choosing Microsoft Access as the type of file to import from. If you can get the contacts into Outlook, I would imagine you should be able to transfer them from there to your new phone using their own software.

Can I save my bookmarks to my hotmail account, just in case my computer needs to be rebooted (or I have to replace my computer) so I don't lose all of my saved information... If so, how?

I am using a later model XP Windows computer. The memory is only 512MB.
Sometimes it freezes up and I need someone to help me get it running again.
It has completely crashed at least 3 times in the past 4 years, and when it does I lose all of my bookmarks that I've saved.
So does Firefox allow the user to transfer all saved bookmarks to an email address or do I need to email each one to my mailbox separately myself?

How can I prevent personal contacts from syncing with Exchange corporate email?

I have my phone synching with my work Exchange server over ActiveSync, and have 2 personal email accounts (POP and IMAP). The 2 personal accounts are also configured in Outlook 2010 on my home computer. Itunes is also installed on this computer.
I want my contacts from my 2 personal accounts to sync to my phone (which is working), but not have them sync to my work account (this part is not working the way I want). I now have all my personal contacts uploaded to my work account. How can I remove the contacts from my work account without removing them from my phone?

Apps you can re-download for free. SMS's are part of the iPhone backup, they would have to copy that folder to a thumb drive along with your photos, calendar & contact database. Your iPhone backup is located here:

Regarding your contacts & calendar, you'd have to first export them to the thumb drive, then copy to the proper location on the computer you intend to use. Same with your iphone backup & pics.
