How can i save or transfer my text messages? (Noki...

hi.
can someone please tell me if there is a way that i can save my text messages?
my phone (nokia 6300) has a lot of problems, but i have many text messages that i want to keep somehow...
i've tried so many times to see if i could find a way to save them to my memory card or transfer it into my PC but i couldn't.
so please if there is anyway let me know...
at this point my phone is useless, but i just don't want to loose my text messages by returning my phone to it's company.
thanks.

You can transfer purchases, but that will only transfer music purchased through iTunes. You won't be able to get any third party music or music from CDs back onto iTunes without going and getting them from wherever you got them again

    Save Files
    MMS
    1. Go to Text Messages view, threader veiw that shows the pic preview when its not opened.
    2. Press and hold on Pic
    3. Select Save from the list\
    4. Now the pic should be saved in SD/Messages folder
    EMAIL
    1. Open Email
    2. At top there should be the number and the words "View Attachments" - Click on View Attachments
    3. Now you should have a list of attachments with a arrow next to it if not downloaded.
    4. Click file you want to download and you should get a animation where the arrow was that is indicating its being downloaded.
    5. Once the animation stops this means file has been downloaded to a temp file to be viewed.
    6. Now Press and Hold on file text and a window should open with three options - VIEW - SAVE- and SHARE

    8. Once complete it will have a little message at bottom of page that says "File was downloaded to SD Card"

    Solved!

    Hi,
If your data is in an array, the easiest way is to use the ArrayToFile function.
It automatically creates a file and puts your data in it according to the format you provide.
If you have individual samples that you need to write once in a while, you can either collect them into an array and then use ArrayToFile or open a file with fopen and write them as they are acquired with fwrite.
    Hope this helps,

  • How can I disable e-mail and text messages when I'm close to or over my data quota ?

How can I disable e-mail and text messages when I'm close to or over my data quota ?
Is this possible? I don't see any options?
    All I see is this:
Receive confirmations of many account transactions via Email and/or free Text Alerts delivered right to your cell phone. You can receive these confirmations for
transactions done online, over the phone or from your handset. Account management Text Alerts do not count against any Messaging allowances.
Your bill is ready for review.
Payment Confirmations: Your payment has been  received    Your credit/adjustment     has been applied.1
Account Activity Confirmations     Plan changes     Feature changes1

    What phone?
You would need to disable data on the phone itself.  You wouldn't do it online on your account.
Note also that text messages do not count toward your data allowance.

When you are viewing the test message with the picture in it, press and hold on the picture itself and it should vibrate and pull up a menu with the options of "View Picture", "Save Picture", and "Share Picture". Choose which one you want.

How can I retrieve a train of text messages back to October 1, 2013, that I have deleted?

For text messages that were transmitted through your cellular connection, you must contact your wireless carrier.  For iMessage texts that you have deleted, your decision at that time was final.

  • LG Lucid 3: How can I get rid of the text message indicator? It says I have a text message, but I do not.

I have a new LG Lucid 3 and the text message indicator says I have a new message, but I do not. Messaging is empty when I click on it. How can I get rid of the "1" indicator? I tried turning the phone on and off and that did not work.

Thanks for trying, Anzivina! You've done some strong troubleshooting. Although I do wish it had resolved this matter, I believe we still have options. You've indicated that  you've done a factory reset. Can you walk me through the steps you took to get there? Also, after the factory reset, how long before this message indicator appeared again? Was it before or after you restored all your personal data?

  • How can i get records of all text messages

How do you get records of all your texts? Everyone tells me to go to text usage for my number but it does not show up. Any ideas? I need them like now

        Hey there Amanda_x,
I've heard your cry for help and I am here to assist. Are you looking just for the numbers that you've texted and received texts from? Or are you looking for the actual text message conversation?
If you are just looking for the numbers that you've texted and received texts from you can retreive that information through My Verizon. Once you are signed in as the account owner you would click on "view my usage" under Manage My Account. From there you can click on Breakdown of Recent Activity and from there you can view the messaging log for your line.
If you are looking for previous text messages that may have been deleted. That cannot be retreived through My Verizon.
Verizon Wireless is only able to provide an average of the last 3-5 days of content, but never more than ten days from the date and time the message is delivered.  Only messages that are received may be available. We also must receive a message with your consent and have it notarized and submitted by an attorney or law enforcement official.  You can have those documents faxed to (847) 706-7276.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

  • How can i get back a deleted text message

how can i get back a very important text message i deleted by mistake.my phone is iphone 3g
    thank you

I'm going to post what I found via Google. As I understand, it works for some, not for others, so I'm not vouching for this, so do it at your own risk:
FACT: SMS messages remain on the iPhone after deletion. When “deleted” on the iPhone, they are technically hidden and marked for deletion. Text messages are then deleted only after sync with iTunes.
In order to recover a deleted text message or messages, run through the following 4 easy steps:
    STEP 1:
Make sure iTunes doesn’t automatically sync with iPhone when connected.
    STEP 2:
Connect your iPhone to iTunes and Back up by selecting Preferences > Backup from iTunes, or right-click on your iPhone and choose back up.
    STEP 3:
Restore your iPhone by selecting Restore under Preferences. Note that restoring the iPhone will restore the previous iPhone firmware. Your iPhone will be completely erased after the new firmware is installed. So make sure your back up is good!
    STEP 4:
The final step will be to restore your iPhone from the back up you created on step 2. This will allow you to restore any data you have backed up, including the “deleted” text messages.
    That’s it!
It’s important to distinguish between iPhone data restore and iPhone firmware restore.
iPhone data restore allows you to restore data you have already backup on iTunes. This is your photos, video, text messages…etc.
iPhone firmware restore is pretty much like a restore to factory switch. This will restore your iPhone to the previous firmware or system and no user data. This option is often recommended if your suspect that your iPhone OS or iOS is unstable.

  • How can a Java server receive a text message?

Through what mechanism can a Java server receive an incoming text message sent to a particular phone number? How would the server associate itself with that phone number, and what physical devices and APIs would be involved in processing the text message?
I don't know how to get started with this requirement - would anyone here have had experience doing such a thing before? Perhaps you could point me in the right direction.
    Thanks.

Many of those links provide information on sending SMS, but I'm still not sure what's involved in receiving an SMS message. Even if I'm able to find an appropriate API, I'm still somewhat confused - if someone sends a text message to a mobile phone number, how can our server access that text message (or how can that text message be redirected to our server rather than the mobile phone itself)?
    Thanks.

  • How can I make Siri read my text messages to me?

I saw the instructional video and it showed a woman receiving a text message via Siri, and she picked it up and answered it via Siri. I know how to send that way, but can't get Siri to read my text messges to me. Can someone tell me how that works? Thanks,

    Johnathan,
Can Siri record a voice memo?
Do you know if it can read older text messages by just asking?
    Thanks

  • How can i switch from a regular text message to iMessage for a contact

I had this contact we used iMessage but since 2 days ago it went back to regular text message, how I can put back to iMessage?

The contact and you will use iMessage - if it's available.  One of you may not be on WiFi or using a cellular carrier that supports iMessage.  Presumably neither of you turned off Settings > Messages > iMessage.

  • How can i get back my deleted text messages?

I am trying to get back my text messages that my iphone 4 randomly deleted

Are you on iOS 7? Because if so I too had the same problem. What I did was go into my messages and I went to create a new message. Then in the field that says "To", type the person/contacts name and then go into the message box. After that all of your deleted messages should reappear.
