How can I save/write data on the hard disc of the Real-Time System?

I would like to acquire huge size of data via LabView Real-Time System.
Since data is so huge, I am now thinking that it might be good idea to
write/save data on the hard disc of the Real-Time System first and then
transfer the data file to a data processing PC using FTP etc.
If you know how to save/write data on the hard disc of the Real-Time System
(Ver. 7.1), please let me know.

Just to add to Aitortxo's good answer,
Since you have only one Drive ( C:\) on your RT, just keep monitering the availible disc space.
After every few set of file writes keep transferring Backups delete these files, so that you keep C:\ drive space for running your applications.

Hi,
I know the function "write to spreadsheet file.vi"
can append the data
to file. You can use the "concatenate strings" to display the date,
time as well as data... Hope this help.

Hi,
If your data is in an array, the easiest way is to use the ArrayToFile function.
It automatically creates a file and puts your data in it according to the format you provide.
If you have individual samples that you need to write once in a while, you can either collect them into an array and then use ArrayToFile or open a file with fopen and write them as they are acquired with fwrite.

It sounds like the iPod's storage has data corruption. You may be able to treat it like an external drive and use data recovery software on it, but it probably won't work because the system is telling you that the drive needs to be formatted before it is recognized.
If the problem is data corruption and there is no hardware-related problem on the iPod's hard drive, a Restore should fix the problem. But this will obviously erase the iPod's hard drive.

The device may be formatted for Windows, as NTFS. The format is readable, but not natively writable on a Mac. To write to the device, you must either reformat it (erasing all the contents) or install third-party software to enable write access to NTFS.

Data still in mical, but was deleted via icloud in ical. How can i save my data?

still in 5.1.1, and I had general data in ical saved on my iphone but not in the icloud (which was a mistake, I didn´t notice). As I syncronised the ical data with the icloud, these general data were deleted. i need some help. I'm working on a project for students an th university. We have to devellop a programm for LEDs measurement so that all the measure data must be save in de same file. We have develloped the programm, but we have a big problem to save the measure in the same File.
When we do the first measure , the file must be created and the fisrt data gonna be save in this file that is correct
When wie do the second measure, the third .... measure, the programm ask us to comfirm the file or where we want save our data
We need some help, to know how we can change or devellop this programm so that, for the first measure , the file must be created and the fisrt data gonna be save in this file, the second measure the same file must be chose and from the third and more the measure data must be automatically save in this file without the programm ask to chose or to confirme a file?

Move the "File Dialog" where you open your new file out of the while loop. Only pass the refnum inside the loop.

Hi, after installing some spyware software on my vista A210 (spysweeper) I rebooted my laptop, on the restart it went straight to the boot manager and instructs me to insert my recovery disk and follow the instructions effectively. The only options I have with this disk is to format my hard drive, it seems to indicate that it will erase everything (would that include things on my partitioned drive?).
Is there no way to start the PC in safe mode? I have tried using the F8 key, but could only get to the safe mode menu using the recovery disk to boot my machine. So when I selected start windows in safe mode it loaded the disk instead.
Does this sound like a familiar problem, if so does anyone know how I can restore last weeks settings without accessing windows?
Will I have to swallow it and format my drive, on the partition I have some photos, etc that I haven't backed up yet from a trip last week so I only want to do this as a last resort?
Would I be able to go and buy a copy of vista and fix it via the CD? My laptop came with windows vista installed but no windows disk.

If you are not able to go in the advanced boot menu by F8 you can’t start in safe mode. This is fact.
I think the only way is to reinstall Vista.
The reason why the laptop came without installation disk is because on the HDD is on the second partition an folder called “HDDRecovery”. This folder contains the factory settings and you can restore it if you go in the advanced boot menu, repair my computer and then you can select the Toshiba recovery function.
Furthermore you always get a reminder message that you should burn this image on a DVD:

+from harddisk (press F8 when you boot your computer, choose "Repair your computer"+

However, now it’s too late to burn the recovery disk.
In your case I would order a recovery disk from Toshiba directly. Then you can reinstall the notebook and the Toshiba disk contains already all drivers and tools.

If you use the Toshiba recovery disk the whole HDD will be formatted. You should backup your data before you do this.
For this you can buy an external HDD case. Remove the HDD from the notebook, put it in the case and connect it to an other PC or notebook. Then you are able to save your data.

How can i pull out data from a spreadsheet only from the current month?

Data is constantly being fed into a spreadsheet using a VI, this data comprises of such things as month, year, weights, std dev, etc. I want to do some data manipulation on the current months data while the VI is running, how can I pull out only the data relating to the current month? Each input into the spreadsheet stores the values for that run on one row, and there are perhaps 150 runs each month

I'm using P7 with Oracle XE on a stand alone computer, I am unable to connect to my Primavera DB, the issue started when my computer slowed down and i just restarted it...while disc checking computer delet some of the file. may be this is the reason.
I didnt loss my login name and pasword as this is standard as "ADMIN" after restarting the computer when i tried to login Primavera with same admin as lagin name and password this message is appear "Unable to connect to the database. Would you like to configure the database connection now?"
What is the best and the safest way to get back to normal situation where I can have all my data back, could anyone please help me? How to I back it up and restore to normal?

You will be configuring the connection, it shouldnt mess with the database at all. You are making sure the connection between P6 and the database is setup correctly. When you click on the elipses (...) next to database on the log in screen, does it show anything under "Details"?
That being said there will be a way to backup/copy the database using the database utility not P6. With SQL it is fairly easy so I assume in Oracle it should be too. The database tool wont be application specific so you will need to look at the Oracle database documentation. For SQL it can be as simple as highlighting the P6 database (PMDB) and running the backup tool. You end result is a .mdf and .ldf which are your backup files. Don't know what Oracle's will look like.

Yes it is!
A little background first:
Think of the structure of Lightroom as being in three parts.
First is the application itself.
Second is the catalog and ancillary files like presets and previews, keywords and templates.
Third is your image collection.
If you wipe the application you will need the serial number for the re-install.
If you are using Lightroom 4.x or earlier you will also need a copy of the application install file.
If you are using Lightroom 5.x then you can, if needed, just download the file from Adobe.
The catalog and all the ancillary files should be in a folder called Lightroom.
Copy this entire folder to a large external hard drive that is big enough to contain this folder and all your images.
Copy the images in exactly the same pattern as they currently exist on the internal drive.
The idea is to be able to copy those images, in their folders, back onto the internal drive when everything is shipshape.
Once you have cleaned up your system and re-installed the OS and then Lightroom then copy the catalog folder back to wherever you want it.
Then copy the images back to the internal hard drive - you may be able to put them back where they were and so Lightroom will actually be able to find them again.
If they end up in a different location it is still not an issue.

Launch Lightroom for the first time by navigating to your catalog and double-clicking on it.
This step ensures that your usual catalog launches.
If you launch the catalog in the usual way Lightroom will want to create and launch a new catalog.
With Lightroom open in the Library module go and check out the Folders subpanel on the left.
It is likely that folders and images are displaying question marks.
Go to the highest folder in the image hierarchy and R-click on it.
A dialog box opens that invites one to navigate to that folder.
Once you have done that all the images should automatically reconnect with the catalog.
