How can I see ACR is busy (updating the screen)

I use an older PC with Win XP, PS CS6 and ACR 7.3
When I've made several modifications the pc is getting slower and slower.
I've read when ACR is working, there appears an icon like this:
But that is only in the beginnning when ACR is starting....so far I know.
Suggestion for next version of ACR:
Is it possible to change the mouse indicator in something like :
Why this .....than there is an visual working-indicator .....if you make little changes you can positioning the mouse on that aera .... and waiting....when the icon changes back to normal.... the screen-update is finished.......so you can better toggle between "before" and "after"

Ok I understand, the ICON was not clear to me.
The fact remains that ACR is busy updating.
..............Thereafter, depending on your cpu speed, and changes should update very quickly so there is no need for a any additional warnings.
This second reason is not clear to me.
In my case it takes 5-8 seconds before the screen is updated.
But I can NOT see exactly when ACR is ready (especially with small changes), I have to guess when it's done ............
I can see something in the histogram, but not always, and it is also not synchronized (with ACR's updating) .......
And not everyone has the latest / fastest model PC ......
And another mouse icon programming is peanuts (only 1 system call, isn't it) .....
And there are more programms that have a hourglass.....
So I do not agree with this argument.
But.............Maybe there are more people with a similar problem....or have an other suggestion for it?
Other suggestion: Now ACR is updating the histogram first and after that the screen is updated.
How about to exchange those two ? ...so that the histogram is (always) the final action that ACR does when it is updating the midifications that are made.

in ur RSA1 session click on the customise local layout or press ALT+F12..
you will get a list of menu options..
click on font and change the font size and the font design to whichever u desire..
in the same customise local layout u can even change the color and do many other visual changes.

How can I see my USB device in the measurement&automation explorer?

I'm trying to use an USB-device with LabView7.0.
I followed the manual "using NI-VISA3.0 to control your USB device" which I found on the NI-webpage.
I generated an .inf file using the VISA driver developement wizard and installed it in the INV folder of my system (I'm using Win2000).
The following problems occured: after I connect my USB device the "add new hardware wizard" pops up and aks for a driver for the new hardware. when I direct it to the folder with the generated .inf file it doesn't accept this file as a driver.
second: the USB device doesn't appear in the measurement&automation explorer. I assume that as long as my device doen't appear there it is not recognized by NI-VISA and the comm
unication from LV wouldn't work?
How can a make my USB device visible in the meas.&aut. explorer?

In the VISA Driver Development Wizard, you are required to specify the Vendor and Product ID. These numbers are what Windows will use to determine whether a specific driver is appropriate for a given device. If these numbers do not match between your device and the Windows driver (INF file) that you generate, you will see the behavior that you describe. Check to make sure that you are using the appropriate values. Also, did you right click on the INF file and install it as directed in step 2.2.2?
Page 5-87 of the VISA Programmer's reference manual specifies how to do a viOpen to a USB device in RAW mode, but you still need the same sorts of Product ID and Mfg ID that you needed for the INF file generation. Furthermore, if you are communicating with
your instrument directly, you will need to know exactly what command set it expects, so make sure you get that from the manufacturer as well. Finally, I want to mention that if this device complies with the USBTMC standard, then none of this is necessary--the steps above are for setting up a RAW USB connection. See this link for information.

How can I tell this FM to update the buffer before reading data??

I have developed a Web Dynpro Application that calls a FM.
Values are written into the database (I use a standard FM for that).
After that, values a read from the database to be show in the Web Dynpro Application again (Again, using a standard FM).
However, the data is not being updated, that is, the data delivered by the function module is not the updated, new data, but the old data.
If I select the data using simple select statements, ist is provided correctly (new data). That means the database already has the correct data, but the FM uses some sort of buffer which does not seem to be up to date at this point in time...
How can I tell the FM to update is buffers before being acually executed?
The function module in question is called HRIQ_ACAD_READ_TIMELIMITS, but I don't think this information is required to answer my question.

aye, thats ecaxtly what i meant.
Displaying the data in a new process. i know this is not what you finally want, but if the data is correct in your new process we might get better ideas what is causing your buffer problems.
BTW is your system scaled? do you have more than one application server and may this be a synchronisation error?

I inadvertently checked a preference in the 'experimental' I think, that has caused the interface on my 17'' Dell CRT to be so big that I can't navigate around to change the preferences again. I can see maybe a sixth of the workspace that I'm in. How do I fix that?

Well, if you can't see enough of the interface to reconfigure it, you *could* reset all preferences to defaults...
Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt simultaneously immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.

How can i get rid of condensation behind the screen?

Hi, my iPod works fine, but after leaving it in my bag during footy training outside and it then raining, it has condesation marks all over the screen. The functionality of the iPod is fine but it is very irratating having these marks over the screen. They are not strong enough to make reading the iPod hard but obviously I'd like to get rid of them.
I understand as it is a matter involving water my warranty won't cover it?
Is there anything else I can do? How hard is it to take it apart?

There are some liquids that you can buy in the shops which makes you clean those marks from your iPod. You can find them in the Apple Stores and most of the computer shops.

The display was working just fine and now it seems it darkened. I can barely see what is displayed in the screen and can't understand what's going on.

I can't understand why all of a sudden the display on my computer got all darkened, and I have to tilt the computer to barely see what I'm writing or the icons. I tried the brightening the screen but it didn't work so I'm concerned on what's going on....
