How can I see/find my history?

I was looking through my history with one of my contacts but it only goes so far as around  months back but when I checked my preferences it shows as Forever, and I have some contacts (with whom I don't speak often nor much) whose conversation history goes back more than 6 months back.
How can is that happening? What can I do to find those extra months of history that I'm missing?
I haven't changed my computer nor any information from my account so I have no idea what happen.
fyi, to check the contact history I just check the conversation window and go back on the dates (I'm not sure if there is another way)

Dude
After some digging I think I found it.
I went to:   Library/Application Support/Skype/"user name"
I can now see the main.db and main-journal.db.  A google search for .db files has told me that I could use SQLite or LibreOffice to open the db file.   Gonna give it a try to see what's needed to open it.

How can I see ALL transaction history in my account.  Specifically, I want to review the gift cards I have redeemed but the amounts are not showing up in my account.  I know I have over $200 in my account and I am unable to access it.  The site wants me to pay by credit card and I don't want to do that.  Any ideas how I can recover the money in my account?

You can only view your account's purchase history, you can't view a history of card redemptions.
My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my iOS devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to).
To view your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
You've tried logging out and back into your account to see if your balance then shows ? If not, and you can't see where it might have been spent, then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

How can i see my purchases history

For apps? For music? For movies?
For apps go to the App Store and tap on updates in that tab there will be a purchased field where you can look at what games you've downloaded.
In iTunes you go to the app and tap on more in the bottom right corner and then tap purchased and you can see your movies, tv shows, and music all there.
    Hope this helps.

Not sure if you want to see when things were purchased or just downloaded, you can see Your Purchase History on your computer.

Same with app store to see all app purchases.
Not sure why it is not working for you,
That shows all your purchased content yes, but not what you paid for them or when you bought them etc...

  • How can I see my browsing history as ip addresses?

I want to see from my firefox browsing history or any other way possible, my old ip (under a different isp) and the ip address of specific sites I have visited in the past.

Thank you, but I could not find an add on that records the ip address, just the Request URL. The DNS server resolved the url.
But there is [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/dns-saver/?src=search DNS Saver] that saves the ip of each request. You need also SQL lite manager to select the DNS saver database. Download cache is nice too because it will then give you a file of all items in the db.
    Hope this helps!

  • Recently I bought an Ipad, now I need to find the old owner, so he can unlock it, but the full e-mail isn't written. How can I see the old e-mail?

So, yesterday I bought an Ipad 3 16gb. when I unpacked it, I found that it is locked, so I need the previous owner to unlock it. For the bad cause, the owner is from UK, and I've bought it from a  intermediary in Bulgaria. How can I see the full email so I can contact him?

Apple will not provide that information unless order to do so by a court order.  Your only option at this point is to return it to the intermediary and get your money back.  They should not have sold you a locked device.  Then don't buy another device without confirming that it isn't locked, as explained under "how do I check for activation lock before buying a used device" in this article: Find My iPhone Activation Lock.

    Huh?
Strange, when I delete an application from any of my Palm devices, it stays deleted and has never returned!
If the OP is referring to Docs To Go, there is an option to reinstall the handheld programs available in the Desktop version of Docs To Go.
Should be found up in the Tools or Options section (I'm on a computer that doesn't have it installed right now..)

After burning a successful DVD in iDVD out of FCPX, how can I see the settings it used?
So I finally burned a DVD out of a Apple Pro Res file into iDVD in PAL format. My question now is how can I find out what the exact burn properties were so that I can apply the same burn properties to a project in Compressor 4?
Is it possible to see what iDVD did?

I don't know any way you can interrogate iDVD to reveal settings to the extent that you can in a Compressor project. What you could do is open up the show's VOB in MPEG STreamclip, go to File and Reveal Stream Information; that will at least give you some rudimentary info like average bit rate. Perhaps someone, with more iDVD experience, can chime in here.
The broader question is why use Compressor at all if your current workflow is doing the job to your satisfaction?
The value of Compressor is that it gives you control over the many parameters that affect size quality.  and playability. The Compressor presets can give you a starting point for DVD delivery, Web, etc. From those presets, people typically experiment by adjusting the parameters until they get the desired results for their specific show. It's a little bit science and a little bit art. After experimenting, you may be able to get slightly better quality for the project you've successfully burned in iDVD by using Compressor and something likeToast…or maybe not.
    Good luck.

  • HOW CAN I SEE THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE WITH FINDER?

    Hi Folks,
I need an help. How can I see everything in my hdd, the exact content of it, using Finder and not an 'easy view'? For example, in the hdd root there are folders like 'tmp', 'var', 'usr' and so on but I can't see them from Finder just using the command prompt. How can I do?
    Thanks in advance.

Open the AppleScript Editor in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run the following:
    tell app "Finder" to quit
do shell script "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 1"
    delay 2
    tell app "Finder" to run
This script will not allow you to access anything which is set not to be readable by your user account. The /dev/ folder on the startup disk is hardcoded to be hidden to the GUI and cannot be revealed in the Finder by this or any other method. To turn it off, replace the 1 with a 0.
