How can I see my iCloud content?

You can't see items contained in an iCloud backup, you can only restore it to your device.  (The apps are actually redownloaded from the App store when you restore that backup.)
Did you restore her iCloud backup to her new phone?

  • How can I see my iCloud content online?

I have synced my Pictures library on my PC to the iCloud PhotoStream. Is there a way to see all my iCloud content in a web interface, like it's allowed by all other cloud services (such as Skydrive, Google Drive, SugarSync, Dropbox)? It's surprising to find that iCloud doesn't provide this simple feature that every other cloud service does.

The problem I have is that new iPhone photos (post iCloud setup) appear correctly in the PhotoStream folder on my PC, but the hundreds of older photos in my Camera Roll don't. That's my simple problem.
    I understand.
I can give you a Mac answer, but I'm not sure how the whole Photo Stream thing works in Windows.
On the Mac, you'd synch the photos from the phone to your computer and then move them to the Photo Stream in iPhoto.
I'm not sure how to do the same thing on Windows.
    Does this article help?

  • When I open bookmarks the actual sites sometime do not show just the black screen with the safari icon while others show the actual site how can I see the actual content

I use Safari Mt Lion and when I view Bookmarks, the entire list of bookmarks show uo but on the display portion only the black screen witht the Safari icon shows while other bookmarks show the actual photo of what that bookmark is so unless I click on the bookmark on the blank ones I can not see what it is, it is inconvient because I have hundreds of bookmarks and I can not remember what I was bookmarking it for unless I can see it

    Hi
I understand  - sorry to have missed your point before now.
Some sites don't display those previews in safari - secure pages (https) for one, and also sites that are redirected.
Taking the example in your screenshot, the site http://fabulouslyartsy.blogspot.com/ actually redirects to http://www.fabulouslyartsy.com/ and Safari (rather annoyingly) doesn't 'follow' the redirection & show the appropriate preview. See the image below - the blank preview is for the blogspot address, and the one visible to the right is from going directly to the site.

  • How can I see what iCloud Photos is uploading right now?

I selected a large number of photos (and videos) across many different photo albums be uploaded by iPhoto (9.5.X) from my rMBP 15 (OS X 10.9.4) to several different streams (named by year 2003, 2004, 2005 ...). The number of photos would have been around 5000 and the videos would have been less than 50.
My problem is that the iCloud Photos component (the name of the component within the activity monitor) is perpetually uploading content but nothing is showing up within any of my devices subscribed to those streams - yet the network tab on activity monitor is showing 1-2 GB of data uploaded each day.
The first few streams contained most of the photos from the year (maybe 80%) but by the time it got to 2006 and 2007 it just shows 1 or 2 photos and nothing else.
I have a reasonable network connection 1Mb/s upstream and 20 Mb/s down and I have left the machine running 24x7 for many days at a time - all the time with activity monitor registering a large total network upload but nothing is showing within my streams on any of my devices including the rMBP that I sent the files from.
I have given up in my desire to upload the photos - I just want iPhoto to stop attempting to upload files as it is consuming all my upstream bandwidth and preventing me from using my internet connection - so much so that I have gone back to my old MBP.
I have looked within the console log application and can not find anything useful when filtering using the strings "iCloud" or "iPhoto".
Can anyone provide any suggestions as to how I can locate the files being attempted to be uploaded? Or how I can prevent them from being attempted to be uploaded?
As a last resort I am willing to purge files from my iPhoto library (by putting them on another storage system).

I have deleted all of the streams that I believed to be causing problems and it is still occurring.
I deleted all of the year based streams and several other older streams and it still did not help. It still attempted to upload 1GB of data last night.
I suspect that there may be a problem with photostream agent component. When I deleted the year based streams (which were all created from my rMBP) they failed to delete from any of my devices (iPhone, iPad) - which I believe is one of control points of iPhoto /iCloud.
To answer my original stated question I was able to track which files were originally being accessed iPhoto / photostream agent using this command
    sudo dtrace -n 'syscall::open*:entry { printf("%s %s",execname,copyinstr(arg0)); }' | grep photo
which pointed me to a set of folders located here
    /var/folders/n_/jvfrft450wz30sbn8sh6s9qm0000gn/T/com.apple.photostream-agent/ass et-Ntk5Aq
Is there someway that I can force the photostream agent to purge it's state or flush it's cache ...ie to force it to want to restart cleanly (ie forget about everything that it thinks that it needs to upload) without actually deleting every single photo that I have on my machine?

  • How can I see which 'Additional Content' was installed?

Once in a while, Lpx says it needs to download Adittional Content. I allow to do so, and then it does.
After a while it's done. And now? I would love to see what's new! Does anyone know how?
    Thanks,
    Jay

    Hi maikeru1,
If you have your apps synced to iTunes, you can use a similar process to that outlined in the following article (the Get Info command) to show what Apple ID it was purchased under:

  • HT1727 how can i see my itunes content on multiple pcs in different locations

how do I get my ITunes to view in multiple locations, so I can for example use it at work as well as home?

    Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers
Although it isn't possible to sync an Apple device with two different libraries it is possible to sync with the same logical library from multiple computers. Each library has an internal ID and when iTunes connects to your iPod/iPad/iPhone it compares the local ID with the one the device normally syncs with. If they are the same you can go ahead and sync...
I have my library cloned to a small 1Tb USB drive which I can take between home & work. At either location I use SyncToy 2.1 to update the local copy with the external drive. Mac users should be able to find similar tools. I can open either of the local libraries or the one on the external drive and update the media content of my iPhone. The slight exception is Photos which normally connects to a specific folder on a specific machine, although that can easily be remapped to the current library if you create a "Photos" folder inside the iTunes Media folder so that syncing the iTunes folders keeps this up to date as well. I periodically sweep my library for new files & orphans with iTunes Folder Watch just in case I make changes at one location but then overwrite the library with a newer copy from the other. Again Mac users should be able to find similar tools.
As long as your media is organised within an iTunes Music or Tunes Media folder, in turn held inside the main iTunes folder that has your library files (whether or not you let iTunes keep the media folder organised) each library can access items at the same relative path from the library folder so the library can be at different drives/paths on different machines. This solution ensures I always have adequate backups of my library and I can update my devices whenever I can connect to the same build of iTunes.
When working with an iPhone earlier builds of iTunes would remove any file not physically present in the local library, even if there was an entry for it, making manual management practically redundant on the iPhone. This behaviour has been changed but it will still only permit manual management with a library that has the correct internal ID. If you don't want to sync your library between machines on a regular basis just copy the iTunes Library.itl file from the current "home" machine to any other you want to use, then clean out the library entires and import the local content you have on that box.

I want to verify that that iphone has the keychain information stored from my mac.

I have a huge volume of content stored in the cloud...I don't know what it might be....I'd like to be able to see it and clean it up...it may be years of old mail or who knows. How can I see it and clean it up?

Do you have any iOS device? It has your Photo Stream files. Apple TV? Same answer.
A PC with the iCloud control panel? You can sign in and view your Photo Stream.
Another Mac with 10.7.2, or higher? It can sign into iCloud.
iPhoto 9.2, or higher on it? It has your Photo Stream files.

  • I have 2 icloud accounts how can i see them both on my macbook and iphone

I have 2 icloud accounts how can I see them both on my macbook and iphone?

iCloud doesn't have anything to do with texts or phone calls. Those are both tied to your phone number and SIM, not to an iCloud account.

  • My phone has blue screen od death due to ios7 malfunction there for in usable how can i see if my contacts are backed up to icloud. it will not let me log on

Go to icloud.com from your computer and sign into your account.  Any iCloud data you see there will sync to your new phone when you sign into your account.
Also, if you have a recent backup of your phone, restore that backup to your new phone when you get it to transfer your data, settings, apps and other purchased media.  More details here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can see what's in iCloud collectively at settings > iCloud > storage & back up > manage.... You can only edit the data through the appropriate app (contacts, calendars etc)
For problems with 3rd party apps, contact the developer.

  • How can I see my pictures in iCloud

how can I see my pictures in iCloud
I see them in my phone, but is there a way on seing them in my desk computer, accesing iCloud?

You cannot view Photo Stream photos on iCloud.com.
To view Photo Stream photos on your desktop you need a Mac running OS X 10.7.5 or later or a PC (via iCloud Control Panel) running Windows Vista or later.
Mac: System Preferences > iCloud > Sign In > enable Photos
PC: Install iCloud Control Panel > Sign In > enable Photos
iCloud Control Panel 2.1.3 for Windows Vista
iCloud Control Panel 3.1 for Windows 7 or later

  • How can I see what is in my iCloud and on iPad and remove some stuff on on iPod mini

How can I see what is in my iCloud and maybe remove some  from my iPad mini

You have to sign into your iCloud account at icloud.com from a computer to view your iCloud data.  Also, be careful not to delete data from your phone that is being synced to iCloud or it will delete if from iCloud too.  (For example, if you delete a contact from your phone with Settings>iCloud>Contacts set to On it will remove the contact from iCloud too.)
