How can I see my photos

How can I see my photos on icloud

Enable photo stream on your iOS device (in Settings>iCloud>Photos), or set up iCloud on your computer and enable photo stream as explained here: https://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/.  Note: this will allow you to access my photo stream photos from the last 30 days and any shared streams you are subscribed to.

How can I see what photos are stored on iCloud? I haven't used Photo Stream before so there are no photos on there that I can see.
    Help needed ASAP.
    Thanks

If you haven't used Photostream there won't be any photos "actually on iCloud".
Any photos stored as part of an iOS device backup can be viewed on the iOS device after restoring the backup to the iOS device. They can't be viewed online.

  • How can I see the photos stored on my icloud

Please forgive my near-total ignorance. I searched different forums for a while and could not find a straightforward answer.
I have an Ipad 2. My photos get uploaded to the iCloud. Great. iCloud gets full. Ipad settings show that my photos take up 4 out of 5 gb of storage
    on iCloud.
I would like to see WHICH photos are on my iCloud.
How do I access iCloud - either via Ipad or PC?
I tried the www interface (www.icloud.com) - photos are not available for viewing there.
I tried iCloud Photo Stream for Window Vista - no luck either, as it only showed ca. 6 photos from my Photo Stream, nothing else.
How can I see what is in my iCloud???

Photo stream photos don't use any of your iCloud storage.  The storage for these is provided by Apple free of charge.  You can see what photos are in your photo stream by opening the Photos app on your iPad, tap Abums at the bottom, then tap My Photo Stream.  These are not viewable on icloud.com.
The only photos that use your iCloud storage are photos in your camera roll, which are included in your iCloud backup by default, assuming you are backing your iPad up to iCloud.

  • How can I see the photo quality settings in iLife'06 books

I assembled a 100 page book using iLife'05 over the last week or so. Luckily I hadn't ordered the book before learning about the new "improved print quality" when using iLife'06.
Well, iLife'06 finally arrived today and I installed it and... Well, do I need to scrap my old book or can I just go ahead and order through iLife'06 and get that new great quality?
While still running iLife'05 I printed my book to a PDF file and the file size for the PDF is 150.4MB.
I then installed iLife'06 and printed the same book to another PDF file and the size of the file was ONLY 57.4MB. Almost a third the size. If anything I was expecting the PDF file to be much larger (double?).
I even did a side by side comparison of the two PDF files using Preview and I've got to say that the '05 version was better than the '06. This makes sense since the file size is much larger in the '05 I would expect the image quality to be better.
So, now I'm worried. How can I see what the settings are and how can I tell what I'll get when I'm going to order a book?
    Thanks!
    PowerBook G4 15 1.67Ghz   Mac OS X (10.4.2)

    Chuck:
The Print to PDF file is not exactly the same as the one iPhoto creates for uploading and printing. Here's how to get the iPhoto version. It involves going thru the ordering process until the book is assembled and then finding and copying the pdf file to the desktop and then canceling the ordering process.
How to Find the iPhoto Generated PDF File:
1 - Start the ordering process and stop after the book has been assembled and you get to the Order pane where you select the cover color, copies, etc.
2 - Go to the Finder and select the Go->Go to Folder menu item (CommandShiftG).
3 - copy the following, “/private/var/tmp/folders.501/TemporaryItems/iPhoto” (for Panther the path is "/private/tmp/501/TemporaryItems/iPhoto“), and paste into the Go to Folder search box.
4 - the iPhoto folder will be brought up. In it will be the PDF file that was generated by iPhoto. You can copy it (Option-drag) to the Desktop to review and/or save.
Note: the iPhoto folder will not exist before you start the ordering process and is deleted after the order is completed or after you cancel the order and quit iPhoto.

  • HT4890 how can i see my photos on icloud

I am new to Apple products and would like to know how I can see the photos I have taken with my iPhone on my iCloud?
    Thank you!

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you mean at iCloud.com, you can't. Photostream is for syncing photos between devices.
As an alternative, you can create shared photostream albums and choose to make them public. You can then use the address it gives you to view your photo's via a web browser.

I Wanna see what photos I have on my iCloud , how can I do that?

Look in the My Photo Stream album on your iOS device.  The ones that were added to your photo stream in the last 30 days are the ones that are still in iCloud.

  • HT5262 how can i see my photos saved to my icloud

i want to see my photos that have been saved to my icloud account. How do i do that?

Photo stream photos can only be seen on an iOS device or computer that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled.  You can only view them on the web if they are added to a shared stream using the public website option (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99).  This will give you a private url that you can use to view them on the web from a computer browser.

  • How can I see My Photo Stream from two Macs associated with the same Apple ID?

I have a MacBook Pro (my personal machine) and an iMac (our family computer).
The iPhoto library housing all of our family photos lives on the iMac.
The iPhoto library on my MacBook Pro is currently empty.
I have an account on both machines.  I have associated the same Apple ID with both machines.
When I launch iPhoto on my MacBook Pro and attempt to turn on photo sharing (so that I can see My Photo Stream, as well as other shared streams), iPhoto informs me that "iCloud Photos for xxx@xxx is being used with another library named 'iPhoto Library'."
My iPhone, which is also affiliated with the same Apple ID, shows the streams just fine.
What can I do to remedy this situation?  I'd like to be able to view my shared streams on my MacBook Pro, while leaving the actual massive photo library on the iMac.

I found out about this issue when I created a new library with some photo's I wanted to sync to my iCloud account.  I found the following on the Fat Cat Software page and thought it might be helpful to others:
Using Photo Stream with multiple libraries
Starting in iPhoto 9.2, Apple introduced a new feature called Photo Stream, which lets you automatically transfer photos via their iCloud service between your iPhoto library and your other devices such as an iPhone, iPad, or another Mac. This feature works when you have multiple iPhoto libraries set up, but there are a couple things to be aware of.
First, iPhoto will only allow Photo Stream to be active in one iPhoto library at any given time. If you've already enabled Photo Stream in one library, but then open a second library and enable Photo Stream there, this will cause Photo Stream to be turned off in the first library.
Any photos downloaded by Photo Stream are actually stored in an entirely separate location from any of your iPhoto libraries. This means that, even if you do switch Photo Stream from one library to another, you will not need to go through redownloading all the photos you already have in Photo Stream back from the iCloud servers. So, switching Photo Stream from one library to another is a relatively inexpensive operation, so you can do it as often as needed without it being much of a hassle.

  • HT204570 How can I see my photos in iOS organized by the faces I've identified on the Mac?  All of my devices are using the iCloud Photo Library.

I want to be able to view my photos in iOS according to the faces I've identified in them on the Mac, but I can't seem to figure out how.  Any suggestions?

On iOS, in the Photos app, use the search functionality (the magnifying glass, top right).  Once you click on the magnifying glass - you may need to wait a moment or two - you will see a list of suggested or recent searches.  You can type in a face name instead.  The results from the search will be all pics tagged with that name.
You may have an issue with not all tagged pictures appearing in the search results, however.  Initially all appeared for me, but they no longer do.  There appears to be some issue with the reindexing of my picture data in the cloud - the search still returns folder names for folders which don't exist anymore.  Hopefully you won't have that to content with.

  • How can I see the photos in my wife's iPhoto library from my profile

As she is the photographer we have imported all the photos to her library, but I would still like access from time to time.

For iPhoto 09 (version 8.0.2) and later:
    What you mean by 'share'.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc.
Quit iPhoto in both accounts. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder
(You can also use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
In each account in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.
    Regards
    TD
