How can I see the entire "title" of a page (now truncated)?
I see that Firefox is now truncating the "title" of web pages. I cannot see any good reason for this because the space to the right of the title is blank. I think it was done in the "do anything to make changes to Firefox" department but in this case it is not an improvement and provides the user with less information.
How can I fix the browser so I can again see the entire "title" as provided by the web page designer? I don't want to take extra steps (if any) to see it. I want it to display automatically each time.

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause such issues.

Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.

LSOpen the AppleScript Editor in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run the following:

This script will not allow you to access anything which is set not to be readable by your user account. The /dev/ folder on the startup disk is hardcoded to be hidden to the GUI and cannot be revealed in the Finder by this or any other method. To turn it off, replace the 1 with a 0.

I recently updated Safari and now when the url of the site I am visiting shows up in the adress bar...it is minus the http or https so I am unaware fo whether the site is secure or not. How can I enable Safari to show me the entire url each and everytime I visit a webpage? Like before??

I can see the photo and the first list of items on the specific page but am unable to see any further information such as what other options are available on an Apple laptop or any additional info until I get to the bottom of the page and then I can see the number of times the page has been viewed or additional items like the one I am currently viewing. Where are you not seeing the full date information? If it is on one of the Browser Metadata Overlays, you may have to increase the size of the thumbnails or remove some of the other data being shown (and/or the metadata labels).
On my Metadata Overlays for Browser, Viewer, and Tooltip, as well as on the Metadata tab of the Inspector, the full date-time stamp is shown, e.g.:

The top and bottom of the display is cut off when viewing the screen on my Sony HDTV using DVI output with mirroring on. I've tried changing my display resolutions for the Sony from my Mac display preferences as well as changing the display format on the Sony side to no avail.

Turning the iPhone into landscape mode with Month, Day, or List view selected provides the closest thing to seeing an entire week. -
Photos in iPhoto album are only a hash-marked outline the image only shows when scrolling how can I see the image and open the photo?
Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

The TOC is very confusing. How can I see the whole list of all the chapters, as it would appear in a book? I only can see a vague image of the chapter title, and only from one chapter at a time; the chapter I am on. In the instruction example it shows also only the "title" of the chapter it pertains to, but it is all in legeable text. The inspector gives options, but it does not explain how to apply it, and I cannot see what my option will look like and to what part of the "text" it is referring.
The "lower rectangles" are thumbnails of the actual pages in your book... the text was presumably the content of your book. IF you did as I suggested to keep the TOC listing of a full book.. but removed content on all except the three chapters you want to send off to XXXXX - then the "rectangles are showing blank pages. Which is normal.
You need to understand that Apple created iBooks Author to create a book which can be obtained from their iBooks store. The application is flexible for customisation to a large extent and the innovative make use of that flexibility. The TOC basically replaces the old Index in printed books to advise readers what content is available.
On an iPad, or Mac now, Insterad of using "hyperlinks" from a written index page... which is basic web page navigation - Apple chose to have a visual TOC.
Basically you have to decide - create a three chapter sample which you seem to require - which will show the TOC as it is, or if you the whole TOC of the finished book is required to show... but not the content, you end up with blank "rectangles".

Apple will not provide that information unless order to do so by a court order. Your only option at this point is to return it to the intermediary and get your money back. They should not have sold you a locked device.
