How can I select the area I want linked, to other page?

Hi,
I have been creating multiple stand alone PDF files with links to various documents within a given PDF. Up until yesterday I would select the Link Button, move my curser to the top left corner of the area to be selected, press the button and drag a box over the area I want selected. It worked great. Then BOOM, all of a sudden when I do that now it will not let me select the area I want, it will show a fixed box that appears to be snapped to a formatting line above or below the area I want. Is there a setting somewhere that might have changed?

Make sure you do not have the Snap to Grid option selected.
In Acrobat 8, it is under the View menu.

I have my wife's phone number in two phone book entries, one is her name, the other is under ICE which many emergency services use to contact your next of kin. It stands for "In Case of Emergency" and since my wife has a different last name than me I want to keep it. Every time she calls me the phone displays "ICE or Colette" and if my mother calls me it displays "ICE or Beverly" which is OK. I know which one it is. In messenger however my wife only comes up as ICE, even if I send a message to her named entry when she responds it comes up as from ICE. My mother doesn't text, so it's not that big of a deal, I still know that ICE texts are from my wife. But I want it to display her name if possible. I've researched this a lot and have found nothing to cure it.
I've tried to add or delete the (1) country code in each entry which is what used to work on all phones before my 4S (I now have a 6). Anyone have a clue? Thank you, I know it's kind of trivial, but still I wish it would work correctly.

Here is how matched length traces can be completed in Ultiboard.
First you do not necessarily need to setup a part group to do this... (differential pairs would require grouping)
1. Forward annotate your schematic / netlist from Multisim.
2. Determine the absolute minimum routing length from the origin of the net to the destination by routing a starter trace (remove/undo).
3. In Ultiboard, go to the spreadsheet view/ Nets tab and set the 'Topology' of interest to 'Star' for the traces you need matched.
-> This changes the Max Length and Min Length in the Nets tab from N/A to a number allowing you to set the min/max trace length
4. Set the Min Length of the nets to an appropriate value for your application (it will need to be at least the value of your starter trace in step #2)
-> Set the Max Length to the minimum + 50 mils or so (Ultiboard will do a relatively good job at attaining the minimum value but give it some room)
5. Go to the Autorouter/place settings and set the Routing mode to: Gridless (this will give the router flexibility to go off grid and match lengths)
6. Highlight the traces of interest and Autoroute these (Autoroute -> Autoroute Selected Nets).
Some Tips:
a. Do this routing first if possible
b. Restrict routing to a single layer if possible (restrict routing layers -> Routing Layers in the Nets tab)

Problem:
1. While executing the above code, error -305500 occurs after executing "worksheet := ole2.invoke_obj(worksheets','Select',args)". How can I select the sheet i wanted in the template ??
2. As I refer to the forms on-line document, it stated that the ole2 programmers documentation can provide all object types and methods that can be used with the OLE2. Does any link can provided to download the specified documentation ??

The error is probably that your Worksheets variable is actually empty. Looking at your code I think the problem is that you try and get the value of the worksheets collection from the application then you should try and get it from the Workbooks object.

Thanks for answering. The version is XI.0.10. I just did the update yesterday hoping that I could now properly edit a scanned pdf document. Yes, it's happening on most all scanned documents. I followed your steps & found the list of fonts used in the document & then attempted to edit. The same occurs. When I type in a correction, I get an error alert... "the original font (in this case Fd 5805) is not available or can't be used in editing. Acrobat is using the font Minion Pro in its place."
When I select the text & right click as you suggested, my only choices are cut, copy, delete or select all, no "edit text".
I have no other options to choose another font. Thanks for any help you can direct my way.

While I can't speak to how quickly the apps will work, I may be able to help you with how they work. Once you have the apps added to the printer you would select the app you want to print from on the printer's front panel. Once inside the app, select what you want to print and if all goes as it should, the printer should begin printing the requested information within a few seconds.

Hi,
I had posted a similar query few days back to place excel file in text frame. And I found out that, it is not possible to specify formatting option for any of microsoft document when using Indesign SDK.
But we can do this by running script.
If you are able to specify the formatting option through script, write code to get script object & execute this script through Indesign SDK.
I was able to specify formatting option, sheet number, range etc through this.

Well, the right arrow key will already move you to the next column, so the easiest way to do this is to modify the InputMap to have the Enter key invoke the same Action as the right arrow key.
You can search the forum for my "Table Actions" (without the space) example that will show you how to do this.

Ah, yes- that is an ultra high DPI (dots per inch) display. This is a known issue in Flash Player, which Adobe is working on fixing.
In the mean time, you can get some videos to have normal-sized controls by switching Youtube to the HTML5 video player:

How can I enable the ability to create links when editing site text in BC?

I am about to launch my first BC site for a client. I built the site using Muse. The client needs to update text and pics on their own using BC, which is fine, but when editing text, they are unable to create a link to another page. How can I enable the ability to create links when editing site text in BC? I can apparently do this in this post, but I don't see a way to do this for their site.

Grid control should be used if you have multiple dbs to manage.
But if you still want to install dbconsole, you can use dbca as already mentioned. it's much easier to do that using dbca.
With the manual method, you create the repository via emca -repos create.
Then you configure it using emca -config dbcontrol db. This will ask for sys passwords, ports setting etc...

Apple never included the auto-update feature for dates in Pages v5.2.2. You would have to single-click the date, and deliberately update it.
If you have Pages ’09 v4.3 in /Applications/iWork '09, then it will allow you to configure auto-update of the date field. Right-click on the date, set the format, and click the selection for automatically update on open.

then the total no of records overflows to the next pages and the
next page heading comes much below to it's designated place.
Max.no of records property in the repaeting frame is for the
logical page.
How can I restrict the max. number of records per physical page ?
