I'd try Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com/), which you and your recipient both have to have. It's easy, and the free version would probably be enough. There are any number of other services available for emailing large files (google that). Of course, your recipient must have KN installed to be able to view it correctly, or can view it in PP, but with some loss, primarily transitions/animations.

The publication is NOT ready for publication, it is in its most preliminary stage. How can I send them a copy of the publication so I can get their feedback? Either I am missing something simple, or else it's not very obvious how this is supposed to be done.You have choices - use the Share menu, then save as an .iBooks file where you can find it...email or place on a server for them to download. They then drop into their iTunes and sync.
You can also save as a PDF and send that around however works easiest in your example.

On slide No. 13 of my Keynote presentation, I have varous pictures that go through automatically just as I programmed them, but if I I want to get by clicking to the next slide , it does not let me. How can I program so when I want goes to next slide?
Keynote is programmed to execute all of the effects in a build sequence before it will move to the next slide.
If you want tobe able to move to the next slide at any time in a sequence of builds, you will need to set all of the builds on that slide to: "on click". You will then need to execute each build by pressing the space bar or click the left mouse button for each object. -

Adding Sound to an Individual Slide
Sound added to an individual slide plays only on the slide to which it’s been added.
Here are ways to add sound to a slide:
Drag a sound file from the Finder anywhere onto the slide canvas or to a media placeholder.
Click Media in the toolbar, choose iTunes in the Audio pane of the Media Browser, select a playlist, and then drag a file or playlist anywhere onto the slide canvas (including to a media placeholder).
The sound file is represented on the slide canvas by a speaker icon, but this icon doesn’t appear when you play the slideshow.
You can start and stop sound playback at any time while the slide is showing. When you advance to the next slide, the sound playback automatically stops. To control when the music starts and stops, select the sound file icon, and then set playback options and use the Start Audio and Stop Audio effects in the Build Inspector. For more information, see Adjusting Media Playback Settings and Creating Movie Builds.
When you add media files to your slideshow, make sure that they will be available if you transfer your document to another computer. When saving your document, make sure to select “Copy audio and movies into document” in the Save window after you choose Save or Save As. (If you don’t see the option, click the disclosure triangle next to the field, and then click Advanced Options.)
Also note that some media files are protected under copyright law. Some downloaded music may be played only on the computer where the download occurred. Make sure the computer you’re using has permission to play all the media files included in your slideshow. -

How can I set a password on my Mac Mini? Someone else is reading my emails. I would like to be able to lock it so nothing on it could be seen without a password. Is that possible? How?
So uncheck the automatic login after making sure you know your password and it will require a password on startup.
You can also go into the security preferences and have the machine lock itself once the screensaver is activated. This is sometimes controlled from the screensaver preferences as well.
You could also go nuts and activate multiple users where your name appears in the menu bar. When you walk away from the machine you can use that menu to take you to the "login window", effectively locking your machine. -

Mirroring refers to normal operation of the iPad, where you can see the Home screen on your external display, as well as when setting up a slide show, et cetera. You may not need to mirror the iPad's display for presentations (but the iPad 2 does mirror). At least for slide shows and videos, the iPad 2's screen does not show the presentation when an AV cable is connected, it only appears on the external screen.
The alternative I mentioned about using the Apple TV box with AirPlay is probably easier to do, except you need the Apple TV box to interface to your external display. One problem with an AV adapter, is that the weight of its cable tends to pull the connector out of the iPad as you are holding it.

Yes you can by creating a group and then dragging the contacts in to it. However, since iCloud, the Edit Distribution List feature has been grayed out. Without that feature, it is not possible to specifically select a single email address for those contacts that have multiple email addresses. A major flaw that will hopefully be fixed.

Thanks for tour help.Hmmm... I made the opening in motion, and have set it as a opening bumer. So what I typically do is drag it in to the project time line from the right side of the screen (where my bumbers are) and then add the audio (from itunes) on top of it. So that audio is being duplicated on every single event. This was the only way I knew to do it so I could easily change the date without having to always set the right keyframes. (If there is an easier way, please let me know.)
For the ending bumber I just use a small video clip I made and insert it in each timeline. So I'm assuming that is also being duplicated every single time. -

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I cannot transfer my Ical on my Imac with Mavericks 10.9.2 to my iphone 4 with the latest operating system. I get error message "403" when it attempts to upload to the cloud before transfering to the iphone. I've tried shutting down the computer and iphone but it has not been successful. There is plenty of data available on the icloud as I've not used it for anything else. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
