How can i send Comments field data through IDOC HRMD_A06-E1P0035?
Dear all,
We need to post the legacy system data for infotype IT0035 using IDOC - HRMD_A06-E1P0035 to the SAP R/3 system. In this segment (E1P0035) there no field for the 'comments' to send the data. Pls let us know, is there any way to pass data through E1P0035 segment for the 'comments' field of IT0035?
Thanks in advance.
Ram Rayapudi
Hi Ram,
Comment fields in infotypes are not stored in the infotype-tables itself, but in PCL1-Cluster TX.
In Standard-SAP there is no way to pass this via ALE. Even the infotype-table-field ITXEX, which say that there is any textfield present, is clear in ALE.
If you really need to transfer this data, you have to do ALE-amplifications.
Regards,
Herbert

How can we add source field data in to receiver JMS header
I have a scenario called IDOC(ECC System) or PROXY(SRM System) to JMS(Only one Queue).
ECC(Idoc) and SRM(Proxy) -
XI -
JMS
In the Idoc and proxy we have a field called Source System. If it is a Idoc then this source system field coming with SAP ECC if the data is coming from SRM System then the source system field is SAP SRM. My problem is how I can map these fields to the JMS header? Then according to the JMS header TIBCO will send this data to target systems. If data is coming from ECC then it will send it to one Third party system and if data is coming from SRM then it will send it to other Third party target system.Hi Purushotham,
You can add it in receiver determination.
Our IDOC segement EDIDC_40 contains feild called SNDPRN and SNDPRT.
By using this in condition for configured receivers you can route this to your desired receiver system.
May be you can mantain two queues for your two receivers.

Akshay.

How can I send SMS from email through iMS5.2
there is a way for sending SMS through iMS5.2 but i do not know how?Is there any need for SMPP server or any gateway for sending SMS.I know about the rewrite rule to be include in imta.cnf file but I want to know the steps for configuring the iMS5.2 for sending SMS.is there any SMPP server(SMSC) that needs to be separately installed
IMS 5.2 supports one way SMS, however, you must have access to the SMSC's SMPP server. The server must support SMPP V3.4 over TCP/IP and there must be TCP/IP connectivity between the host running iMS and the SMPP server.
You also have to configure a SMS channel in iMS, then it is merely a matter of sending a mail message to the address associated with that channel.
The documentation for how to do that can be found at http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/messaging/technotes/5.2sms.html which is reached from the "related links" at the bottom of the messaging documentation web site http://docs.iplanet.com/docs/manuals/messaging.html#related, and then select "Technical Notes and Examples". Note SMS is supported, the doc just didn't make it into the regular set. -
How can I send the Location data to my computer via USB?
I would like to use my iPhone 4 as if it were an incar GPS hooked up to my laptop and receive the current coordinates and perhaps the raw data from the compass accelerometer and orientation-feature. I don't want anything fancy in terms of the user interface. I just want a logfile with something similar to the following:
Header 1
Header 2
Header 3
Header 4
Header 5
Header 6
Header 7
Header 8
Date & Time Stamp
x coordinates
y coordinates
z coordinates
orientation/inclination
accelerometer
compass heading
misc
with as many rows as is needed or limited by the maximum file size of the OS or HDD format.
I want to customize the sampling rate say from 0.5 hertz to 10 hertz in other words one entry every two seconds up to 10 entries per second. I would like to post-process this information in mathematica or matlab.I found the app that I'm looking for it's called sensor kinetics pro and the link is

How to make a column field editable through OADP customization
HI Every body,
I am facing a issue during oadp customization. As part of our requirement , i have added a column to the compensation planning in mss through OADP and the column is displaying fine, but the issue is that, the fields are not editable. So can anyone let me know ,how can i make the field editable through OADP customization. Is it really possible to do through OADP or not?
Regards
RRAYfor which application you added the columns?
let me explain takinh ECM as an example
The backend part of the OADP provides a possibility to define data
columns without assigning a function module for data extraction to it.
The content of these columns as well as the column properties have to be
defined in the application coding(WebDynpro frontend application) which
is the reason why these columns are called #Application Columns#. The
advantage of application columns is two-fold: Firstly, their content can
be calculated dynamically during runtime in dependence of both, the
content of other columns and application data. Secondly, it#s even
possible to have data columns ready for input. These columns are build
in the frontend webDynpro application, therefore for your custom column
group, kindly assign the standard for these three columns.
For OADP customizing of the compensation planning application kindly
follow the link below.

How can I send purchase order through SAP mail ? Can any one explain whts the NACE settings?
just do it as <b>Anji reddy</b> said to you ...or else ... in the purchase order trascation ...print it ... so that it will generate the spool request for that purchase order ....
so the the belwo program is for sending <b>the Spool Request data as Email to any Email id ...</b>
The code below demonstrates how to retrieve a spool request and email it as a PDF document. Please note for the below program to process a spool request the program must be executed in background otherwise no spool request will be created. for field symbols see the doc
Field Symbols
Field symbols are placeholders or symbolic names for other fields. They do not physically reserve space for a field, but point to its contents. A field symbol cam point to any data object. The data object to which a field symbol points is assigned to it after it has been declared in the program.
Whenever you address a field symbol in a program, you are addressing the field that is assigned to the field symbol. After successful assignment, there is no difference in ABAP whether you reference the field symbol or the field itself. You must assign a field to each field symbol before you can address the latter in programs.
Field symbols are similar to dereferenced pointers in C (that is, pointers to which the content operator * is applied). However, the only real equivalent of pointers in ABAP, that is, variables that contain a memory address (reference) and that can be used without the contents operator, are reference variables in ABAP Objects.
All operations programmed with field symbols are applied to the field assigned to it. For example, a MOVE statement between two field symbols moves the contents of the field assigned to the first field symbol to the field assigned to the second field symbol. The field symbols themselves point to the same fields after the MOVE statement as they did before.
You can create field symbols either without or with type specifications. If you do not specify a type, the field symbol inherits all of the technical attributes of the field assigned to it. If you do specify a type, the system checks the compatibility of the field symbol and the field you are assigning to it during the ASSIGN statement.
Field symbols provide greater flexibility when you address data objects:
If you want to process sections of fields, you can specify the offset and length of the field dynamically.
You can assign one field symbol to another, which allows you to address parts of fields.
Assignments to field symbols may extend beyond field boundaries. This allows you to address regular sequences of fields in memory efficiently.
You can also force a field symbol to take different technical attributes from those of the field assigned to it.
The flexibility of field symbols provides elegant solutions to certain problems. On the other hand, it does mean that errors can easily occur. Since fields are not assigned to field symbols until runtime, the effectiveness of syntax and security checks is very limited for operations involving field symbols. This can lead to runtime errors or incorrect data assignments.
While runtime errors indicate an obvious problem, incorrect data assignments are dangerous because they can be very difficult to detect. For this reason, you should only use field symbols if you cannot achieve the same result using other ABAP statements.
For example, you may want to process part of a string where the offset and length depend on the contents of the field. You could use field symbols in this case. However, since the MOVE statement also supports variable offset and length specifications, you should use it instead. The MOVE statement (with your own auxiliary variables if required) is much safer than using field symbols, since it cannot address memory beyond the boundary of a field. However, field symbols may improve performance in some cases.

FIELD-SYMBOLS
Basic form
FIELD-SYMBOLS <fs>.
Extras:
1. ... TYPE type
2. ... TYPE REF TO cif
3. ... TYPE REF TO DATA
4. ... TYPE LINE OF type
5. ... LIKE s
6. ... LIKE LINE OF s
7. ... TYPE tabkind
8. ... STRUCTURE s DEFAULT wa
The syntax check performed in an ABAP Objects context is stricter than in other ABAP areas. See Cannot Use Untyped Field Symbols ad Cannot Use Field Symbols as Components of Classes.
Effect
This statement declares a symbolic field called <fs>. At runtime, you can assign a concrete field to the field symbol using ASSIGN. All operations performed with the field symbol then directly affect the field assigned to it.
You can only use one of the additions.
Example
Output aircraft type from the table SFLIGHT using a field symbol:
FIELD-SYMBOLS <PT> TYPE ANY.
DATA SFLIGHT_WA TYPE SFLIGHT.
ASSIGN SFLIGHT_WA-PLANETYPE TO <PT>.
WRITE <PT>.
Addition 1
... TYPE type
Addition 2
... TYPE REF TO cif
Addition 3
... TYPE REF TO DATA
Addition 4
... TYPE LINE OF type
Addition 5
... LIKE s
Addition 6
... LIKE LINE OF s
Addition 7
... TYPE tabkind
Effect
You can define the type of the field symbol using additions 2 to 7 (just as you can for FORM parameters (compare Defining the Type of Subroutine Parameters). When you use the ASSIGN statement, the system carries out the same type checks as for USING parameters of FORMs.
This addition is not allowed in an ABAP Objects context. See Cannot Use Obsolete Casting for FIELD SYMBOLS.
In some cases, the syntax rules that apply to Unicode programs are different than those for non-Unicode programs. See Defining Types Using STRUCTURE.
Effect
Assigns any (internal) field string or structure to the field symbol from the ABAP Dictionary (s). All fields of the structure can be addressed by name: <fs>-fieldname. The structured field symbol points initially to the work area wa specified after DEFAULT.
The work area wa must be at least as long as the structure s. If s contains fields of the type I or F, wa should have the structure s or at least begin in that way, since otherwise alignment problems may occur.
Example
Address components of the flight bookings table SBOOK using a field symbol:
DATA SBOOK_WA LIKE SBOOK.
FIELD-SYMBOLS <SB> STRUCTURE SBOOK
DEFAULT SBOOK_WA.
WRITE: <SB>-BOOKID, <SB>-FLDATE.

Save the Word document. Create your email in your normal mail application (Mail?), click on the add attachment icon (the paperclip if you are using Mail). Navigate to where you saved the Word file and select it. It should now appear as an attachment in your email. If you are sending it to a PC user and you are using Mail make sure 'Send Windows-friendly attachments' is selected in the edit menu. And if you don't want the attachment to display inline within the body of the email Control+Click on it and select 'view as icon'.
