I am needing to cut info from a college course homepage I am teaching and paste it into another course I am teaching. How can I cut, copy and paste in mozilla firefox?

You can use the keyboard if the buttons on the web page aren't working.
* Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert
* Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert

A couple of weeks ago, from the file menu, in my print options was to print a web page to PDF, that facility is no longer there. does anyone know how can I set Firefox to print to PDF.
The only options I have are (1) My Canon printer, (2) Fax or (3) Microsoft XPS document writer. There is no option for PDFFirefox generally displays the printers in Windows' Printers folder (Start orb > Devices and Printers). If it is missing one of the printers listed there, could you indicate which one it is, for example, Adobe Distiller, PrimoPDF, CutePDF Writer, etc.?
If you previously had an add-on which added print-to-PDF functionality just to Firefox, perhaps it got disabled. You could check here:

Also, are you really running Firefox 8.0.1? That version from last November is no longer secure and has been superseded by Firefox 11. If you browse the web widely, you should update for your security. -

While using firefox I am using, private browsing and not remembering any passwords.
When I login to Gmail, the login page shows option to type in my gmail id and then password, and at the bottom, it gives the option of checkbox to remember the password next time. NOW, the problem is that, THIS CHECK box is always TICKED (Checked). I don't want it to be checked at all.
So How can I prevent firefox to Offer to save passwords and how to remove the tick checked when I log in to gmail?

I believe in order to do that you would need to use an extension or userscript. However, I haven't searched for one.

HA! I figured the find my iphone out!!!!! You can have more than one icloud account in "Mail, Contacts and Calendars". So my husband's & kids' phone icloud account under "settings, icloud "is their individual @me.com account. Set it to everything you want EXCEPT Find My Iphone. Then under "settings, mail/contacts/calendars" you set up both accounts (your @me.com which may already be there), then add another with the main appleID and enable ONLY Find My Iphone. Now when any of us log into Find My Iphone from any device with our main apple ID for the app store, all the devices show up!!!! YIPPEE. I made my own day!
I think the message I got previously was because I hadn't disabled the find my iphone on the @me.com account first. -
I have CS6 and CC installed on my mac when I'm using CS6 and use bridge CC activates how can I set this to only work on one and not the other
If you want Bridge CS6 to open when using Photoshop CS6, you must quit Bridge CC.
Then File menu > Browse in Bridge will bring up Bridge CS6.
If Bridge CC is already open, The File > Browse in Bridge for Photoshop CS6 will use Bridge CC and Bridge CS6 will not open.

This sounds like a known issue reported here:

There was a workaround posted, but I've not tested it myself. Here are the steps.
# Go into Yahoo Messenger Options - Change the Window in the dropdown to Tab and press OK.
# Then go back and switch it to small window and press OK.
Once the bug is officially resolved, you could try running a Nightly or Aurora build to use the fix early.

I have Firefox 4. In the Firefox drop down menu, there is an option to cut, copy and paste but it is not highlighted. Please tell me how to highlight this link. Or is there a way to have a cut copy and paste tab?
Those links in the Edit menu are only highlighted if there is something to do:<br />
Paste should be enabled if the clipboard has data placed on it by a previous Copy or Cut and you have set focus on a text area or field that allows to paste that data.
Copy works if some text is selected. -
Since downloading 29.0.1 I can no longer cut, copy and paste. So frustrating!!!
I often copy and paste items into website forums with no problem. However, since I upgraded to 29.0.1 I can no longer do that and it's so frustrating. I have tried doing the extra steps of clicking on your copy and paste items but that doesn't help. I even tried uploading the AllowClipboard Helper but that didn't work either. I never needed that add-on in the past.
This is ridiculous.
How do I revert back to version 28? It worked fine but you just had to go ahead and "fix" it and I hate the new version. I was able to download the Classic Theme Restorer which helped a lot but some things I could not make like the version 28.karen,
You don't need that user.js file any longer for those cut, copy, and paste preferences.

I built an ad using layers saved it and then converted it to a jpeg. Now when I go into elements 11 to do anything else it will not allow to copy and paste to create a new layer. What am I missing?
You know that you lost the layers when you saved it as a jpeg, right? But you're saying you can't add layers to the jpeg now when it's open in the editor? Go to Image>mode and be sure it's RGB, for starters. Are all the commands in the Layer menu grayed out?

How to restrict Cut, Copy and Paste to a Local Clipboard.
I need to stop any information being copied from my application to other applications such as Word. Is there any way to make sure that all GUI components that support cut, copy and paste use a local clipboard so that I can then control which Flavor's I allow to be cut, copied or pasted?
What system doesn't allow screen shots? Tell my mobile phone camera that it mustn't take a pic of the screen.
Anyway, I'd mess with KeyListeners or KeyBindings and suppress STRG+C where you don't want to allow copying. I have never done this, but that would be my first approach. -

Cut is not available how does one cut and paste in new fileIf your using File>Place then photoshop cs2 creates what's known as Smart Objects, which photoshop 7 didn't have.
In photoshop cs2 you can rasterize the smart objects and that should make the Cut function available.
Select both placed layers, right click on the area to the right of the tumbnail and select Rasterize Layers.
If in photoshop cs2 you to Help>Photoshop Help and look under Layers>Smart Objects, that should give you a good overview of what smart objects are.
