OK, thank you for that information. On your Mac, go to the Apple logo at the very top left. Then go to System Preferences. Then go to the Blue bluetooth logo to open bluetooth settings. In the window that opens, you'll see a + in the bottom left. Just before you click this, press the pair button on your speaker. The Mac will now search for the speaker, which is now discoverable. When you see the speaker, double click it in the list. Once you are connected, go back to system preferences, this time opening up the sound settings. In the list of speakers, select your Bluetooth one. it will now be highlighted and all audio will go through it. To go back to your regular speakers, either turn off the Bluetooth speaker, or go back to the sound settings and highlight 'build in speakers'. *****

Hmmm... I will try to explain this question:
I have my main timeline. It is the homepage of my website. The subsites are symbols filled with content. They are 100% of my composition and should overlay over my homepage.
So when I click on the menu buttons on my homepage I can set the symbols (subpages, they are turned off, hidden) on and they will show and play. For that I am using this code:

sym.getSymbol("mySymbol").play(0);
This works perfectly.
So I actually looking for the code I put on a kind of closebutton. The closebutton jumps to the fade out transition. Then should close the compositsion - set it to hide. I am back on my homepage where I left it.
I tried to put
sym.$("mySymbol").hide();
on a script in the timeline but that doesnt work. So can anybody tell me the right code?
I searched a lot but couldnt find a solution.

There is also the possibility to use a variable but this might not be what you want.
In this example you can play each page and use the close button to close the current page. If you try to play the other pages without closing the current, it will not work - only the close button with work to reset all the page's button to be able to play.
Just try it:
click a page button -It will play that page - now try to click the other page buttons - will not work.
click the close button - it will close the current page.
Now you can clck any page and it will play and so on.

How can I set up an external harddrive with time machine that already has data on it without losing the data?

I have an external hard drive that I use to hold photos and other files on that no longer fit on my macbook. I also use the external hard drive for back ups set up with time machine. I don't believe I ever did anything to partition it, I've just always had separate folders (Photos, Music, etc) with one being called "Back Ups" (or Backups.backupdb) that my time machine back ups would automatically go into. Recently, I made the switch from my HDD in my macbook to a new SSD of the same size. I used the back ups on the external hard drive to restore all my content, which all worked out fine. My problem now is in using my external hard drive. When I plug it in, it no longer seems to be working with time machine. Also, I was organizing some files within the external hard drive, and when I dragged one into a folder, it took a while to load. Before, it was instantaneous moving a file already on the external hard drive to another location within it. Can anyone help me in getting the external hard drive to work with my new SSD? I don't want to delete any of the folders or back ups that are already on it, since that's the only place I have some of those files. Please let me know if you need anymore details. Thanks! Just to make sure you are tapping Settings / Mail, Contacts, Calendars then tapping Add Account / Other / Add Mail Account.
Make sure you have the correct email address and password. You have to type in @comcast.net after you user name.

RAID5 or RAID10 or such does require add-on software and / or add-on hardware, yes.
And I'd tend to go toward external RAID storage here, as that is what the most common packages offer and as that tends to have the greatest expansion. This would involve a PCIe RAID controller and external storage here, though Apple does offer the Mac Pro RAID card for use with the internal drives.
The integrated Apple software RAID has RAID0 and RAID1 capabilities. Not RAID5.
