How can I set up my iPad to print to my Kodak ESP 7250 wifi printer

How can I set up my iPad to print to my Kodak ESP 7250 wifi printer

Kodak has a firmware upgrade to allow a version of air printing via a third party service, google docs I think. You can e-mail documents to your printer, or you can set up a hardwired printer as a local print server and send them to that.
Or you can look into an app. I have that same model of printer and use Print n Share and it works fine...slow but fine. I didn't go for the firmware cloud printing simply because I didn't want yet another online account.

My iPad will not except my Kodak ESP 1.2 printer via wifi any help please

Is that model a wifi printer? As far  as I know, there are no kodak printers that are air print enabled. So you have to use a third party helper of some kind.
Look on Kodak's site. They have options for various models. There might be an app that will help, I believe some models also work with google documents.
If none of those work then you can look to third party apps. I have Print n Share and it works with my iPad, but there's also Printopia and Print Central and I'm sure there are others.

  • HT204135 How can I set up a daily task to perform a nozzle check on my printer?

How can I set up a daily task to perform a nozzle check on my Epson printer from my MacPro?

Your iMac with ARD... this is the bona fide, ($300/$500) "Remote Desktop.app" admin install, or do you mean that you have ARD "Remote Management" access enabled or have tried to control Vista with Microsoft's similarly-named "[Remote Desktop Connection|http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/remote-desktop/default.mspx]" app? (Just making sure—it would be a very different conversation otherwise.)
Remote Desktop does lots of fancy stuff, but for the Observe and Control mechanisms it behaves as a plain-jane VNC client. It can connect to any standards-compliant VNC server. You should, for example, be able to run a different VNC client on your Mac and have a similar success/failure experience; perhaps the excelent [Chicken of the VNC|http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc>. If you have the same failures, we'll still help, but ARD is obviously not the culprit. In any case, the usual suspects for windows VNC servers include UltraVNC, realVNC \[paid ver. required for vista\], and TightVNC. They all have caviats, but they're fairly well documented. Vista itself throws VNC under the bus "in favor of security" but again, you'll find lots of users in the same boat; unable to get the VNC server working on the Vista side. Your statement that you "couldn't even see the machines connected to it to get the IP" was bit confusing though, as devices don't need to be running a VNC server to at least show up in a scan (IP printers should appear, for example). Are you sure they're on the same subnet of the same lan/being otherwise scanned for correctly; or if remote, are you sure the remote Vista laptop is directly addressable with NAT from the web?
Let us know. Good luck. Joel

Can I set up my wireless printer to print things off of my Ipad 7 ?

    Hi  skp0348,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I gather that you would like to learn how to connect your iPad to your HP printer.
The first step is to ensure that your printer is connected to your wireless network. If the printer is not connected to your wireless network and supports wireless connectivity, please visit HP’s Wireless Printing Center – Connecting Your Wireless Printer.  It lists the different the methods for connecting your printer to your wireless network.  Please note that not all HP printers support all of the methods, but your printer will support at least one of the methods, if it supports wireless connectivity.
Once the printer is connected to your wireless network, if your printer and your router support Bonjour communication, you should now be able to print using Apple’s AirPrint feature (some HP printers are older than Apple’s AirPrint and do not support AirPrint). If you are unsure if your printer supports AirPrint please refer to the HP Printers and Supported Mobile Printing Solutions document.  I’ve included 2 different documents on using Apple’s AirPrint with HP printers.  The first one is Printing from Your Apple Device with Non-Web-Enabled Printers (No Apple AirPrint or HP ePrint Suppor... and the second one is How to Use Apple's AirPrint Over a Wireless Network.
If you want more options than what is available with AirPrint (see Apple’s AirPrint Basics document) you can download and install HP’s ePrint Mobile app.   I’ve included the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQs document for reference.
If you want to scan from your printer to your iPad please download HP’s All-in-One Printer Remote app.  The app will allow customers, with a supported printer, to scan documents to their iPad.  I’ve included the HP All-in-One Printer Remote Mobile App FAQs document for reference. If you are unsure if your printer supports HP’s AiO app, please refer to the HP Printers and Supported Mobile Printing Solutions document.
If you printer supports HP’s ePrint feature and you want to set it up, you would start by Getting the Printer’s Claim Code.  Once you have the printer’s claim code you would add it to your HP ePrintCenter or HP Connected account (HP Connected has only been rolled out to the USA, the UK, France, and Germany), and then you have the option to Customize the ePrint Email Address.  I’ve also included the Getting Started with ePrint document which will explain how to print with ePrint and also has an FAQ section.

  • How can i set up my ipad to be able to download apps that i purchase on any of my computers

I have a MacBook Pro and a tower at home. I want to be able to purchase/download apps on either device and then upload them to my iPad. When I try to download to my MacBook Pro I get a message saying that all apps/databases will be removed and replaced by the ones currently on the MacBook Pro. How can I sync them all?
    Thanks.

There is Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password which you can set to '15 minutes' - the only other option for the setting is 'Immediately', you won't be able to have it as 2 or 3 minutes.

  • How can I set up company ipads with preloaded apps and files?

I want to set up multiple ipads with preloaded apps and files before handing them out to employees.  We intendend the employee to be able to install their own content on the device using their own itunes account.  When I attempted to connected to a pc using a personal account my the content obtained by the company account was prompted to be removed.  Was this done incorrectly?  Is there a way I can set up company ipads with preloaded apps and files so that they don't get removed when the user connects them to another computer with another itunes account?
Right now we are looking to have the employee use their own itunes account and reimburse the expense for the needed apps, but this could be an issue if they leave the company and the device is reassigned.

Yes this is possible. I've been using Apple Configurator to do this (you could also use iTunes to restore backups). The trick is, you need to tell the end user not to sync apps within his/her iTunes on his/her computer. You will need to instruct the end user to download apps OTA using the App Store on the iPad rather than with iTunes on his/her computer. If the user tries to sync apps on his/her computer, it will wipe out apps that you installed. However if the user downloads apps OTA, your apps and the user downloaded apps will both stay on the iPad.
When you hand the iPad to the user, be sure to log out of your company Apple ID on the iPad at Settings -> Store and have them sign in with their personal Apple ID. That way it is all set for them to download apps under their own Apple ID.

  • How can I set up my iPad to work wirelessly in New Zealand?

We are going to stay at our parent's place in New Zealand, and they have only a very slow dial-up connection to the internet.
We want to take our Apple iPad 4, MacBook 4.1.1 and iPhone 4 and use them wirelessly while we are there.
Last time we used the macBook to connect, but it was so maddeningly slow and we had to disconnect their phone, and  feel there must be a better way.
Does anyone know how we can log on via the ipad without having to go up to the local library?

You need the first Internet connection in order to share another connection with the other devices. If you use the Mac and Internet Sharing, then the connection is only going to be as fast as that connection and maybe a little slower since you are all sharing that connection.
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear as the saying goes, you cannot speed up the connection by any magical means.
You should be able to use the personal hotspot feature on the phone if the carriers there support it.

You might want to look into a MIFI hotspot as well but once again, you would need some sort of plan for it in New Zealand.

  • How can I set up my iPad to Remember my password in App Store for a determined period of time.. Ex: 2 minutes, for updates and purchasing?

Whenever I make purchases on my iPad in the App Store, it asks me for my Apple ID password. I'm fine with this when its a one off purchase, but when I have to make multiple purchases continuously it can be really annoying.
How wow can I get the App Store to remember my password for a short period of time (2-3 minutes) so I don't have to type it in with every purchase? I know it can be done as the other iPad in the house is set up this way, I just can seem to find how or where to change these settings...

There is Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password which you can set to '15 minutes' - the only other option for the setting is 'Immediately', you won't be able to have it as 2 or 3 minutes.

  • How can i set resolution in ipad

    Dear Friends,
I am facing a problem with resolution, i installed one of my enterprises software on our ipad am not able to view some features when i checked with the software vendor they are saying its due to resolution problem is there any one having idea to change Ipad resolution pls reply me asap I am stuck up somewhere due to this

No, there isn't a way to adjust the iPad resolution.
Which iPad do you have? Perhaps letting the vendor know which version you have can help them create a app that would work on your one, although there shouldn't ever be a resolution issue.

  • I have an iPad with IMAP email accounts set up but I can find no "inbox, drafts, trash" folders anywhere, either on my ipad or desktop Mac.  How can I set them up?  They do not show on my MacMail preferences either and I can find no way to add them.

I have an iPad with IMAP email accounts set up but can find no "inbox, drafts, trash" folders for each email account anywhere on my iPad or in Mac Mail.   How can I set them up? I can't find anyway to set them up anywhere.  Thanks

    Hello blu monkey,
I found some resources that I think might help with the visibility of your IMAP email folders on your iPad and Mac.
On your iPad, you may need to follow the steps in this article to make sure your folders are visible:
iOS: If IMAP Mail folders are not visible
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1393
On your Mac, I am not sure if you have the sidebar enabled, but you can enable it using the steps in the article below.  When this is showing, you should see your email account listed near the bottom with a triangle next to it.  When the triangle is pointing down, it should show your folders:
Mail (Mountain Lion): Show or hide the sidebar

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

  • How can I set up printing to queues on a Windows 2008 server directly from the iPad apps and not from third-party applications without using AppleTalk or Bonjour?

We have a Windows 2003/2008 server-based network with a dedicated print server which we would like to be able to print to over Wi-Fi.  How can I set up the printers on the iPad without downloading a third party application such as Print Central or Print N Share?  I want to just click the arrow and "Print" then choose the printer, which doesnt show up.  I want to be able to use the existing TCP/IP-based network that we have to reach these queues, not having to install Bonjour or AppleTalk to reach them.
    Thanks,
    KMQ7

This would really be the "Holy Grail"   right now.  I think this a feature that every large organization requires. AirPrint works on a small scale, but is not really an enterprise class application.  In addition it uses the Bonjour discovery process which is difficult in a large LAN WAN environment.  For those that would remind me, I am aware of the enhancement link

  • HT5620 How can I set up two separate accounts on one iPad?

How can I set up two separate accounts on one shared iPad?

The iPad is meant to be a single user device.
It is possible to use multiple ID's on an iOS device, but when you switch ID's and download content with another ID, you associate the device with that ID for 90 days and lock yourself out of the other ID for that 90 day period.
So while it is possible, it's not advisable.
