How can I show the progress of web page loading only in the right bottom of screen?

When I downloaded the first Firefox upgrade that had no progress bar, I somehow found out how to stop the new progress bar (that shows all the progress in web addresses rather than a progressive bar) from jumping around in the bottom left or right of the screen. I had it only appearing in the bottom right of screen. Now a new version of Firefox has been downloaded and is once again jumping around from left to right depending what else is showing on the screen. Most annoying, how do I get it to always appear & remain in only the bottom right again.

Hi Cor-el, thanks for your help. Is there a help file anywhere for Status-r-Evar? I don't understand which way to set all the Options, as it is great having the green status bar showin once again, but I wouldn't mind keeping the name of the file that is progressing as well. After upgrading to 8.0 the add-on compatability tool runs and the Getting Started web page loads every time the browser starts.

After upgrading to 8.0 from 7.0.1 every time I start FF I get the add-on compatibility tool to run and the Getting Started web page loads along with my homepage in separate tabs as well. So far I have tried running the installer again, disabling all add-0ns and custom settings and restarting and turning off automatic updates. Nothing worked there. I got the same behavior each time. I don't know what else to try other than a full uninstall and reinstall. Something I'd like to avoid if it's possible because of the time involved. This is the second time I have posted regarding this issue. The first time I didn't get a response. A solution or a possible workaround would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows of any. As a staff member and a global forum moderator for an anti-virus company I understand how hectic things can be at times but some feedback, good or bad, on this issue would be very welcomed! Hi michaell, thanks for the reply. I tried everything in the Preferences are not saved link you provided and nothing worked there. If creating a new profile will delete all my add-ons and custom settings I might as well just do a complete uninstall and reinstall. That actually would be easier. That article told me how to save my bookmarks though so I don't have to loose those which is nice. I don't know if this makes any difference but there is a discrepancy between the preference file in the article which is: prefs.js and what's showing on my PC which is: prefs with no .js suffix. I tried to rename the file to prefs.js and restarted. No luck there either. It just created another prefs file. I guess we've pretty much exhausted all the avenues to try! What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? How i can get the Bar showing the amount of Web Page loaded as in Version 3.6.13

In Firefox Ver 3.6.13, when we open a webpage, in the lower right corner we see a bar which shows the position of Page loading by a moving green blocks in tthat Bar which i do not see in Firefox 5

I've made a user interface with a little grafic description.
That description should change depending on user actions, e.g. if the user switches a button, some lines should disappear and some other lines should appear.
I thought some decorations could be shown and hidden via something like a property node, but that is not possible. Images can also not be hidden during execution of the program.
Is there any posibility to change a grafic user interface?

There is a trick of overcoming the index problem that was presented/devloped in the forum in the last month's:
You can place the decoration inside a cluster, so you can use the lable of the cluster to adress the decoration you want. The data type of the cluster doesn't mather for this, so you will hide the control/indicator. And you colour the cluster transparent (hint: right click with the coloring tool and use space to toggle).

How can I get a Japanese flash web page to display 100% correctly?

I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get some of this web site's font to display correctly. Some of the flash shows in the correct, Japanese, characters, but some of it shows as code. If I log in as a different user, and set that user's International Language preferences to Japanese, the web page displays correctly. But, when I change users, and go back to the English user, the page displays in a mix of Japanese and messed-up code.

If I click onto a different page of that website, http://weathernews.jp/map/
the writing appears as Japanese in the box, at the bottom of the map.
But, if you click on that map, and zoom in 3-times, to the city level, the font in the box under the hourly weather and weekly weather appears as code, and not Japanese.
I'm guessing that it is a problem with the computer booting-up as being English or Japanese, and the browser, then not being able to detect which version of flash to run, the Japanese or English version, cannot display the font correctly.
Why does it happen only on some pages and not all of the pages on that site?
Can it be fixed?
If so, how?

Yeah, I tried Opera and Firefox, but I get the same garbled text. The only thing that makes that page open and display correctly is switching to a different user, and making that user's main language Japanese, in the international settings.
Of course none of this is all that important, I mean, it's about viewing a weather page, but I am just curious why some of the Flash is read or written so that an English language set user can see some of it displayed correctly, but not all of it, where as a user set to Japanese language settings can get all pages correctly.
I know it has to do with how the Flash Macromedia sees the main language setting for the computer, but what I don't get, is how come a user using Japanese as the main language can read English and Japanese Flash pages (pages with English commanded Java come up correctly), but using English as the main language only allows me to view Flash pages written using English commands. Can I change my Flash program to read Japanese pages, without changing my computers main language to Japanese? Or am I stuck with a Flash program that must match the main language the user is using?

How can I view all comments in a Pages doc and print the doc with comments?

It seems that we can no longer view comments in the margin of a document. It is also not possible to print the document with comments visible. Anyone else having this problem? Pages 09 Help does not even offer an up-to-date explanation. "Show Comments" only shows color shading. The option “Show Comments and Changes Pane" does not even exist. How can I get the comments to print???

You will have to wait for Apple to fix this deficiency in a forthcoming update to Pages v5. Or, you could use Pages ’09 v4.3, if originally installed before the v5 upgrade, and located in /Applications/iWork '09.
Otherwise, use another solution (e.g. Office for Mac 2011, LibreOffice).
