How can I sort a colum for a part off the sheet? Not for the entire shett!

I only want to sort a part of the sheet. If i sort the colom it always takes the hole sheet. How can i only sort a part of the sheet. Please help me!

It is not possible to sort just one column of a table, independent of the other columns.
The solution is to pull the column you wish to sort out of the table, sort it, and put it back into the table.
To remove a column, Click on the column label to select the entire column. Then grab the title and pull up and away from the Table and drop it on a blank area of the Sheet. To put the column back into the table grab it by the title and hover over the main table, moving slowly until a double vertical line appears where you want to place the column, and let it drop there.

I've just found out the reason for this behaviour. I am syncing from a computer which is different to the one I first synced with. iTunes can't cope with this situation so deletes anything synced from another source.

All iWork apps allow you to save your documents on your computer. You will be able to choose the destination when you want to save a document.
You can also disable iCloud for some apps. To do that, go to System Preferences -> iCloud, press "Options" next to "iCloud Drive" and disable the apps you want to.
If you have lost your old documents, you should have a backup that you made before upgrading to OS X Yosemite, so you only have to restore it.

You can transport any requests to any systems even though they are not in the transport domain.
1) Move the corresponding data & cofiles( in /usr/sap/trans/data & /usr/sap/trans/cofiles directories) to the same location in the target system.
2)Add the request to the queue from STMS ->Import Queue ->Extras ->Other Requests - >Add.
3)The execute the transport as usual.

You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines, so you do not need to remove it from the old pc just to install it on the new machine.
If you look in your Adobe account online you might be able to find the serial number.
You can also try contact Adobe support thru chat to see if they can help with the serial number. They might be able to if you can prove ownership of the software.

print to a pdf and email the pdf to the client.
You can print to pdf from any application by selecting the menu item "File > Print..."
then click the "PDF" button in the botton left corner.
I recommend using the "Save as PDF..." item from the list so you can save the pdf with a meaningful name then attach that file to an email.

How can I drag/drop a TITLE w/URL of a bookmark, not just the URL.

In a previous version of either FF or Windows, I could drag/drop the TITLE w/URL of a FF bookmark.
In 3.6 I can only d/d the URL.

Good questions... I'll have to try and figure out when the problem first happened - I was thinking it was when I upgraded to Safari 5.1.4 but that might not be the case... Linking multiple tables in numbers, how can I sort one table and this follow through on subsequent tables in the document?

I am a teacher setting up a tracking system using Numbers for the first time. I have set up a summary sheet with puil information, some of which is "looked up" from other tables within the document. It is working brilliantly until we regrouped the pupils.
When i reorganise the students on the summary page I want the same order to follow on all subsequent tables.
However the pupil lists on all subsequent pages stay in the original order!
Hope this makes some kind of sense as I am about to throw macbook out of the window!

I might use Match, Offset and Column in my expressions. There are many approaches to this
Match will tell you which row your person's data is in, and OFFSET will then take you to the row indicated by Match and the column indicated by COLUMN().
Let's say you want to access the data for Pupil A. Further assume that the string "Pupil A" is the content of Column A, essentially the title of the record.
MATCH(A, AF1 :: Table 1 :: A) will return the number of the Row in the source table where Pupil A is found.
INDEX(Main, MATCH($A, Main :: $A), COLUMN()) will get the content, in your case the checkbox status.
You are done if you are happy with displaying "TRUE" or "FALSE"
But if you want, you can substitute graphics, like this:
=IF(INDEX(Main, MATCH($A, Main :: $A), COLUMN()), "☑", "☐")

Look, Before I Updated my iPod Touch From iOS 4.3.5 to iOS 5 I had my photos (an specific album) sort by Modified Date, But now that I updated to iOS 5, I try to sync all the photos again and they're like shuffled =S.... I only know that it isn't sort Alphabetically, by Size nor Modified Date (Like I said Before), But, I Wanna' know if there's a way to organize all the photos likee i had before.. On my pc, they're like I want it (By Modified Date) But when i sync it, i get shuffled agaiin =S I Don't Know The Order That iOS 5 Sync The Photos..!!!
P.S.: It is So Important to me, because, I'm taking about my relationship album (all photos are w/my girlfriend, are likee 700 photos, that we've been taking from our 5th months together until now, we're on our 13th months of pure love <3 _ <3').. The best app out there (to sort by COMPANY NAME) that nobody knows of is called "EasyContacts". Be sure to search for it was written in the app store. It is money well spent. Every person I show this app to decides to buy it. I use Card Scan still to scan business cards and then export the contacts to Outlook. I then sync my iPhone via iTunes to read my Outlook contacts. PERFECTION!!

first off, why isn't there a a community for the new Photos app?
Anyway, here is my problem:
How can i sort my albums on the new Photos app on iOS?
I think it's not possible at the moment.
I am using the iCloud Photo library and uploadet all of my 15.000 photos from the last 15 years.
And because of that, i now have many many albums on Photos now.
Overall i love the new app and i love the iCloud Photo library, but i cannot sort my albums on the iOS app automatically in alphabetical order.
I can sort albums manual, but who wants that, when you have so many of them???
I have Photos on my Mac too and there i am able to do sort them in alphabetical order. But it is not adopted to iOS or the iCloud Web-App.
Because of that, i have a complete picture chaos on my iPhone and when i am looking for this one pic in that one album it takes me forever to find it.
So please Apple, fix this and we all can live happily ever after!

Moments in Photo are the new Events. T
here's a way to simulate events in Photos.
When the library was first migrated there was a folder created titled iPhoto Events and all migrated iPhoto Events are represented by an album in the folder. To open the sidebar if it's not open use the Option+Command+S key combination.
When new photos are imported into the Photos library go to the Last Import smart album, select all the photos and use the File ➙ New Album menu option or use the key combination Command+N. Name it as desired. It will appear just above the iPhoto Events folder where you can drag it into the iPhoto Events folder
When you click on the iPhoto Events folder you'll get a simulated iPhoto Events window showing all of the albums.
The downside to this simulation is that the Album/Events can only be sorted automatically by Title while viewed in the Folder in the main window or in the sidebar. But they can be sorted manually.

Copy the words to the Mac's clipboard (Edit menu> Copy)
Paste into TextEdit
Next open the Edit > Find > Find window in Text Edit.
Highlight a space between two words and Edit menu > copy, paste into the Find field

Numbers sorts full rows on values in selected column(s). The technique for sorting a single column is essentially the same as Jerry is describing for Pages tables—separate the (data in the) column to be sorted, sort it, return it to the table.
In Numbers the actual column may be separated from the original table, sorted, then returned. In Pages, the data must be extracted, sorted, then pasted back in, overwriting the unsorted data (if it was left in the original table).
iWork tables follow a database model in which each row is a Record, and each column holds a Field within the records.
As evidenced by the current question (and several similar questions arising in the Numbers community) that model doesn't apply to the way some users, especially some who come in from the MS Excel world, use tables.
With Excels model—islands of data on a single large table, the ability to sort one or a selected few columns of data makes sense. One 'island' may comprise only cells AA21:AH50. Sorting that small 'table' should be possible without disturbing the rest of rows 21-30, which are probably part of one or more other 'data islands' in the sea that is a MS Excel spreadsheet.
In Numbers, each of those 'islands' would be a separate Table, and that Table would be sortable without disturbing other Tables in the document.

I do not think there is a way to do that without add-ons
There are a couple of workarounds I am aware of
* Add the bookmarks manually in the bookmarks library and choose the position. That is using Show all bookmarks -> open required folder -> select a position and right click -> add new bookmark <br />Rather a slow and clumsy process
* Sort a folder and copy it. If you sort the folder contents then copy and paste them they remain in that order when pasted.
There are add-ons but I have not tried them. For example

* https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/auto-sort-bookmarks/
There will be others available and take note of the advice to backup bookmarks manaully.
