How can I sort itunes by account?
Hi,
I have two itunes accounts and would like to know, what app and song belongs to what account. Is there a possibility to sort like this? Or to export and sort there? With information I get the account info but it is heavy to do this for a thousands of songs - and apps...
Every idea is appreciated.

I've inported a bunch of new albums that have the artist and album name in lower case text. So to keep the library consistant, I went in to infor and gave the begining of each work a capital letter - then itunes creates a new album with the 1st track leaving the original album without its first track. so when I've done this i end up with two albums with two of the same cover art but 1 only has the first track and the other missing the first track. weneverr i've tried to keep my itunes library by putting in solo songs into an album i go to get info and type in the exact details but it will only work 50% of the time.
How can I sort my iTunes Library my way?When you edit the info for a whole album, use the multiple info window. Select all the songs in the album and open the get info window. Your edits will be applies to all the tracks you have selected.

BEfore you try to Restore it, try a simple Reset.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first). -

iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID. -
Hi there.
I did a factory restore and then restored it with iCloud back-up. I have been using lots of Apple products and i have used three different email adresses. Almost all apps restored perfectly but everytime i try to play a song in the Music app, i asks me for a Apple-ID i had no idea i have used.
Hence:
I lost my password for my original iTunes account
I can't recover it because the email address it is registered under is not longer valid
How can I access my old account?
Can't find a place to change the email address to my new one without the password which I no longer remember.
There is no way to just erase Apple-ID's on my device either.
What to do? Should i ju give up and start from scratch and delete 2 years of stuf?
Cheers!If you can remember the answers to the security questions when you set up that account - I think that you can reset the password without needing email authentication. You can try it here. Read it and see if it's possible. But if you can't remember the answers to the questions it will not work.

EDIT:
Found the group in store (in this case Juana Molina) It said music -> alternative
Changed to column view, and could not find the artist at all in any of the sub categories.
iTunes is really the biggest pain in the .... and has gotten worse over the years. -

I myself think that (for instance) "A tribe called Quest" should be sorted under "A", not "T".
Now I can edit the sort options manually per track and/or per selection, but I would really like to just kill this "iTunes-knows-how-you-should-sort"-feature in iTunes.

ThanksHere is a modified version of one of Doug's Scripts. My modification was to add Sort Name to the list of tags that could be changed. I tried it on a single track and it worked. I recommend backing up your library first. Select the tracks you want to change (or all tracks) and run the script from the Applescript Editor. If it works as intended, save it so you can apply it to newly imported tracks. And, yes, I know this isn't the exact answer to your question, you want to change a preference setting in iTunes (if there is such a setting).

How can I ensure itunes purchases (music, apps) are paid using credits which show on the account instead of billed to my credit card? Info indicates credit is used first but I just bought a song and it did not seem to be deducted from my credits shown on account.
