How can I stop alerts from known software (Lion)?

I'm running Lion on my iMac and have been for months. Recently I've been getting alerts at start up asking me to allow or deny two components that I've also been using for ages - LogMeIn and EyeTV. Unless I am there to interact with the machine when it starts up, these dialogs stay on the screen.
As I trust these two bits of software, I want to go back to the previous situation where the alerts don't occur, but I don't know how to do it. It may be something to do with the Firewall settings, but I can't find anything. Can anyone help?

Well, it worked, so thanks very much! But are you telling me my OSX Firewall is useless? I looked hard at the data available for my router (I access it via a browser) and the word 'Firewall' doesn't appear. Under "Filtering" I get a radio button (activated) with the note "Protect your Windows computers from the Internet", but I don't know what that means. This is all taking place in France by the way, and my router (which does ADSL and wifi in the usual way) is an SFR Neufbox, not sure who the manufacturer is. All this networking stuff is a can of worms, isn't it? I could tell you about my VPN issues, but it's totally OT.

I had Opera set as my default browser since this began happening. I changed my default browser back to Firefox mainly because having Firefox open one or two seconds every time I open Opera was/is such a nuisance.
I believe this problem began because I attempted to manually transfer the files from my old computer to the new one (via the backed up files in my external drive). I was unfamiliar with Windows 7 when I did this. Microsoft changed the file set up from what I had been used to in Windows XP. I used XP for six years before being exposed to Windows 7 (I never had Vista).
I'm almost sure this problem has something to do with where I placed the application data when I was trying to reestablish the program set up on the new computer.

I do not want to upgrade to 7.0, I am attending online college and the upgraded version does not work with my school. How can I stop Firefox from upgrading? I have to keep uninstalling the upgrade and installing the old one.

It's not a good idea to allow websites to redirect to another site until you know for sure the original site is trustworthy.
But if you still want to do it (again not a good idea).
Tools>Options>Advanced>General - In Accessibility, uncheck "warn me when web sites try to redirect..." option.

You can share the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: here
But for all other Apple services like:
FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud, etc, one of you should use a different Apple ID.

You do not need to move your cursor much when pressing the mouse button to cause the tab to tear-off/tear-away into a new tab. No "sensitivity" setting that I am aware of. The tab in the new window can be dragged back to the original window.

How can i stop iTunes from auto rating my songs in my library?? I have my library very organized and 90% of the time when i listen to music i play "My Top Rated" Playlist on shuffle. The only time i give stars ratings to my songs is for my favourite songs which i give 5 star and every other song is just left with no stars. For some reason iTunes is giving songs i have never played or i dont like 5 Stars and rewining my playlists. I have tried erasing all the stars from my entire library and since doing this a week ago, again (for the 4th time in a year) having a library with not 1 song with any star ratings, all of a sudden i now have 329 random songs with 5 stars again??????
This is really getting to me as i love my music and love iTunes and everything apple but seriously there has to be away to stop this so i can have my old playlists back!

One reason itunes will start "at regular intervals" will be if you have an iphone that has sync via wifi enabled. I had the problem following an upgrade to iOS 5.
