How can I stop an action sequence with another

Hi,
I am quite new to flash catalyst. I made a side with an office where you can click the phone to go to the status "phone". In there you should be able to call some virtuell people. I made buttons with names that trigger different action sequences with showing the name of the called person in the display and playing a sound file that sounds like a call. Now my problem is when I am clicking a different name while it is still in one action sequence, the other one shows up over the first and both sounds are playing at the same time.
How is it possible to tell the action sequence to stop all others when it is started?
Thank you for your help.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused now. Just to clear this out:
WDDOBEFOREACTION is for validating user inputs BEFORE Actions and HERE you can prevent actions from happening
WDDOAFTERACTION is called JUST WHEN an action is happening for all visible Views (it's to prevent redundant code which would be equal for all event handlers)
WDDOBEFORENAVIGATION is AFTER Actions and BEFORE navigation.
Check the chart in the following Link (sorry it's german, english version seems not available, but the chart is in english nevertheless)
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/de/49/b8c706c7c26d7ce10000000a421937/content.htm
In my opinion put an if clause into WDDOBEFOREACTION, check whether the respective field is filled; and in case it is filled, execute your method; if not, don't.
That's why I am confused, you kind of answer your question within your question itself )) or I still don't understand what you want to accomplish.
best regards, hope this helps you (if not, try to explain it even more detailed for me ;-D)
Lukas

You can't re-download audiobooks on any computer - they are currently a one-time only download. Music can be re-downloaded in some countries, they are listed on this page. I am running my applet in IE browser, My applet loads with an initial screen, applets starts changing its state as user is working on it, but if the user uses the Refresh option of the browser or goes to url and press ENTER key, my applet comes back to the initial screen.
How do i stop my applet from going back to the initial screen. Help is very urgently needed.
    thanks

Thank you for the response,I have some complex screens that i show on the applet, JDesktopPane that is displayed in the Applet contains number for internal frames which are dependent on the data that is displayed in other internal frame. SO saving the state of the applet becomes very diffucult for me.
I want something like repaint functionality to happen when the browser refresh button is clicked. But on refresh button of the Browser will invariably load the Applet.
I am looking for a solution where we could stop reloading of the applet.
or call specific method while reload is happening.
I am looking for a solution, where applet refresh can stopped thru a java script.

  • How can I sync my iPhone calendar with another iPhone using iCloud?

Must each iOS device being sync'd with another use the same apple id to sync using iCloud?

Yes.  Both devices would have to use the same Apple ID under Settings > iCloud, and have Calendars turned on.
However, you can use another service (I use Gmail) to sync a shared calendar without having to use the same Apple ID.
My partner and I share a joint Gmail account, and have it added to our iPhones, and have the Calendar option enabled.  Whenever I want to add an event to the calendar, I just temporarily change from my default (iCloud Home) to the Gmail.

No.  If you hack the phone to unauthorized unlock, it will re-lock whenever updated or restored and randomly when syncing.  Unauthorized modifications of the phone can't be discussed in this forum.
Note that using your phone with T-Mobile will cripple many features - NO 3G, FaceTime, MMS, or Visual Voicemail.

    Hola Carlos
No tengo muy claro lo que quieres, pero te envio un ejemplo usando eventos, en que los 2 controles pueden estar a off a la vez pero no a on.
Mira a ver si es lo que quieres. Usando eventos puedes hacer cualquiera logica.
    Espero que te sirva

  • How can I stop a task sequence if a custom HTA preflight check fails?

In our currently deployment method, we launch an HTA program before initiating the OSD process. This is only when run from the RAP menu, not via PXE.  When a user initiates OSD through that menu, they get a message prompting them to close Outlook, and
a countdown of 5 mins, then OSD starts.  They also have the ability to click on an 'OK' button to proceed on their own.
I've created a new script which checks WMI if Outlook and/or OCS are open, and if the machine is running on battery, spit out a "Failed" response and stop the HTA.  I've also added a "recheck" button to re-do the check, and an 'OK
button if people jsut want to continue.
I'm curious if there is a way to prevent the task sequence from continuing if any of those conditions arent met.  Currently it just pops up and says "Failed, Cannot conitue", but if they close the window, the task sequence thinks the program
has run, and the OSD migration starts.  I'd like to be able and get the script to cancel the OSD process if a check fails.
Has anyone had success with this, using WINXP? I'd use the MS pre-flight check but it's only for WIN7.

Interesting. Thanks for the response.  Is there anybody out there that can assist with VBS part of the solution?
Here's the code I'm working with.  Currently the battery piece isnt working as it should but I can figure that our, eventually.  I'd like to get Jason's proposed solution in the code.  If this isn't the right place, I'll take this somewhere
    else.

  • How can I STOP mail from syncing with .mac????

I don't have a .mac account, I will never have a .mac account, I have in mail prefs BOTH boxes under "synchronize with other computers using .mac" unchecked, and yet Mac Mail tries to tie up my entire system "synchronizing with .mac" all the time, especially when traffic is heavy (downloading or uploading). I've got activity viewer on and the stop sign is ghosted, there appears to be no way to stop Mail from doing this useless tie up time wasting process that manages to completely freeze up mail until it's completed and sometimes slow up other programs as well. I only have POP accounts, no IMAP accounts that have to be synced.
This didn't start happening until I upgraded to 10.4.11. Prior to that Mail blazed through everything, and it NEVER tried to sync with .mac.
Is there any way to turn this useless "feature" (for me) OFF?
    Thanks!

I was on Tiger earlier, but just got home to a Leopard machine... and a power outage during the day seems to have blown my Tiger's Monitor, but look for...
    /Users/bd/Library/Application Support/SyncServices/Local/clientdata/com.apple.DotMacSync
I'd try dragging the whole folder, if it exists...

  • How can I stop my phone buzzing with alarms

    using a 58000 Xpress Music
I synch with Outlook - great!
I have a todo item and the phone now reminds me too - great!
Unfortunately the alarm assumes I am there, all the time with my phone, and it's default time is 6 a.m so if the phone s in my bedroom like today, and  have a todo item I get woken up.
Even if I turn off the alarm tone I get woken up as there appears to be no way to suppress the vibrating buzzer which will carry on trying to wake me u until I get up and press the screen or until the battery runs out (which it does quite quickly when the buzzer is continually making the phone vibrate).
Every other calendar app I have seen reminds you politely once only unless asked to snooze, and has the ability t be totally silent and non-invasive
Can I make my phone behave in a "normal" way?
    Thanks in advance
    John

    John,
Have you figured out how to turn off the buzzing? Really irritable! My only solution is to delete all the calender events and go on the market for a Windows Mobile phone. ..funny you would think in these times that Nokia would like to keep customers by giving them want they want...Not asking alot really...

  • How can I stop Front Rew kicking with ATV remote?

I have all new kit and trying to work out how to avoid the Frontrow or iTunes on my iMac reacting to the remote while directing the ATV2 device.
Does anyone know how I can do this?
I have tried shielding the signal which worked with the previous version ATV (1) and remote but not this time.
(I do not really need to use the remote for the iMac but would in future like to be able to switch on or off for use with iMac.)
    Thanks for any help!

In the Security System Preferences you can disable the infrared remote on the iMac. Or, you can "pair" one remote with each device. Unfortunately, if you have only one remote you can only pair it with one device. The other device won't know it's been paired with something else.

  • HT1338 how can i stop recurrent beach balling with iPhoto 11 on mac OSX 10.7.5

Iphoto 11 keeps beach balling and often takes the whole computer with it. - Mac OSX 10.7.5. I have run the internal iphoto repair database/thumbnail/permissions utility without effect.

Can anyone tell me if a mac mini with 2 GB of RAM and a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor should be able to run Mac OSX 10.7.5 and iphoto 11? I am thinking I am just short of resources causing recurrent beachballing of iphoto and crashing of the whole computer. I have 133 GB of 320 GB free on the HD. Thanks for any advice.
