Please can someone tell me how to cancel email notifications?

if you go into settings > mail, contacts, calendars and turn push off. it wont notify you of emails until you go into your mail box.

As I understand it, if I change all of my email preferences to "No," which I have already done as shown in the original post (above), I should stop geeting those email notifications. And, further, if that does not work I am to send a screenshot of the Notifications Preferences (above) and a copy of the "Reply to" address of one of the emails that I am getting. I am having trouble doing that..
I assumed that they did not want the "Do Not Reply to" email address. So I am sending what I hope is the Reply toaddress from one of your emails that I received:

I am new to this technology. I need to send email notification to the user's, whenever file is checked-in. What is the procedure to send an email notification let us take GMAIL from UCM.
1) Now I have installed UCM in my machine. Do I need to install any other software to implement this feature(sending email)?
2) I read it in a document, that configuration is needed in a config file in order to send email. What details do i need to give in these fields,
HttpServerAddress= ?
MailServer= ?
SysAdminAddress=?
SmtpPort=25
HttpRelativeWebRoot=/idc/

3) Do I need to install any mail server? If so which software can i go with?? Is it possible to send email to gmail or yahoo acccount without installing mail server ???

You will need to have an SMTP server of some sort that you can use. I think out of the box, you may only be able to use an SMTP server that allows anonymous sending or sending unauthenticated (e.g. an internal server). Any good SMTP server (that is not an internal server) would not allow this for security reasons.
Thus, I think if you want to use an external SMTP server such as Gmail, you will need to write custom Java code. See this thread for more information: UCM SMTP server Configuration

I have the same problem with my/wife's shared calendar and from what I've read in the forum and tried, there's no way I've been able to avoid notifications. As I recall, there's a setting somewhere to turn off notifications on shared calendars, but I tried it and it didn't fix the problem (if indeed it was supposed to fix that problem).

My organization uses Exchange for email.
I am attempting to send a message from my iPhone TO an alias email address. As background, this is necessary because I'm attempting to develop an application that reads the inbox for the related account and performs different actions based on the alias used as the 'send to' address on the email.
I can type in the alias, or choose it from a contact (I've tried both ways), so that when I hit send it LOOKS like it's going to the alias... but as I/after I send the message, the iPhone/mail application/? resolves the alias to the primary address, so that when it enters the mailbox, it appears to have been sent to the primary email address, rather than the alias.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I don´t know for a fact, but I guess you can have your firewall block the traffic to and from the AppleTV's. You have to find out which ports to block (see: http://bowersandwilkins.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/55/~/firewall-ports -utilised-by-airplay ) and also you will need to have different location profiles for your home and work network.
Just my two cents.

How can I stop emails deleting on my hotmail account

My iphone 4 is set up to deliver my hotmail emails to my phone. The actions I take on my phone (e.g., deleting an email) are being replicated in my hotmail account on the server. I appreciate this is no bad thing except that both myself and my wife use the email account, hence there can be emails that I don't see because it has been deleted by my wife. This has only been hapening over the last 2-3 months. Prior to this, the actions taken on the phone did not affect the hotmail account on the server.
Can anybody advise if / how I can continue to receive emails to my phone, but the fact that I read or delete them not affect the main server?

How can i add email notifications to a scheduler program

Hi,
We have a scheduler chain that calls 2 scheduler programs.
The chains are controlled by a scheduler job that has job_type as CHAIN.
My challenge is how to add email notfications on the failure or success of the programs.
I know about this procedure DBMS_SCHEDULER.ADD_JOB_EMAIL_NOTIFICATION, but this is only applicable to jobs and not programs(i believe).
Is there an alternative way to trigger off emails for scheduler programs please?

Mail uses Contacts to store email addresses and group addresses. You would need to create the desired group on your MacBook.

How can I stop emails pushed to the Curve from getting marked as "Read" in Outlook!

I get 100 or so emails a day, and get them bolded in Outlook until I read them. In two of my three email accounts, the emails remain bolded in Outlook even after being pushed to the Curve. In the third, which runs through my work server, all emails come in unbolded as if they're already read.
This is confusing me and making it hard to go back and pick up important emails (and delete others). Anyone got any ideas of how to fix this in my email set-up on the Curve?

your other two email accounts, which type are they? MSN, Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail or another provider? I have one of each of these and i have mine setup as delete on mailbox and server, wireless reconcile on and on conflict mailbox wins, so when i see these emails on my computer, they are already read and if deleted( yahoo and gmail) will be deleted on the server, the msn and hotmail just stay as read but not deleted.

I upgraded from a 3gs to a 4s today. Everything is working fine except my email. On my 3gs I had my email set up to never delete from the server that way I could delete the mail on my phone but not on my computer. With the new 4s I can't find the never delete from server option. Can anyone help me? It's a hotmail address that I'm using.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

how can we send email notification for an user after access has been granted to the user using Maxl scripts in shell scripts, and if the user is not created due to error we should not send email to the user.

Actually, when the workitem is manually forwarded to the correct agent, the mail should also be sent to the correct agent explicitly. Usually this happens quiet rarely.
You can see the new Agent(Forwarded Agent) in the Workflow Log. I think you can even get the forwarded agent in SWWWIHEAD table. Check this out.
You dont have to change any coding in WD Side.
