I removed "Microsoft Apps" and "Social Networks" from my (Nokia Belle) Mobile, because they are of no use for me. Futher I do not intend to use "Lotus Notes Traveller-U..." for the same reason. How can I stop Nokia Suite and - more important - my mobile from nagging me about installing / updating these packages? I really don't want the heavy payload (19 MB total?) of these packages on my tiny little "C" drive.

You can deactivate the "auto search" by going to "Menu", "Software Update", "Configurations".
I know this can be annoying because I've uninstalled some preinstalled apps too.

That means that you have the app on one of the external drives (maybe the Time Machine drive). Follow these steps:

Prior to ios 6, I could talk on my phone and have the mute button available. Now it goes into lock mode while speaking on the phone. Yep, it's a pain. What's even more concerning is that at the Genius Bar, he was trying to tell me that this is the was it was supposed to be, so they probably fixed it in OS 6. He said it is for people that are using "Bluetooth" and want to keep the phone in their pockets". Ridiculous! What compounds the issue is that the Apple Reps have no clue as to what's going on, and either do the senior tech's on the phone. As I said in my message, this has made it very cumbersome, and makes it very difficult for those who need to use wired headsets.

When pressing "send" and making a call, Six boxes pop up on the screen, one of them being the muting option. My problem is that face or ear touch this button while I'm in the middle of a call. I need to be able to manipulate the options that come on the screen everytime a call is placed, in this case being able to have no options on the screen while in the middle of a call. Everything that you have checked in your icloud settings will be shared between devices using the same Apple ID. If you don't want icloud to share that information, then simply turn off that process under settings > icloud

Hmm...Double click on the Home button and try to delete the camera app then launch it again that should fix it. You can also turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

Last Spring I received a couple of emails to an alias I set up a long time ago under mac mail with mac.com - not my main ID - at mac.com. The mail had the Icloud extension. I just deleted it.
I then received a couple of e-mails forwarded to the same alias that came from a non-apple account that led me to search to see if the company was legit - it was. Using a non-apple hidden account I sent that non-apple account an email informing them apparently when they registered the ID or alias as an ICLOUD extension - apple did not check for duplication in accounts or aliases that were not in the Icloud.
I also sent feedback to Apple telling them to fix it and apparently they did - along with the person who replicated my alias.
On this site there were a number of postings from people who also had problems with mac mail and Icloud who resolved it by contacting Apple and getting the accounts cleared up.

PSE isn't importing photos off the internet, but it could be importing photos from your hard drive that are being placed there as you browse the internet.
It's likely that you've told PSE to import all new photos on your hard drive using the Watched Folders mechanism.
In the Organizer, go to File > Watch Folders...
See the list of folders PSE is currently watching.
Check the setting near the bottom of the dialog as to what PSE should do when it finds new images in the folders it is watching.
Make any necessary changes to have it do what you want it to do.
