How can I stop new tabs to show up while I am using Firefox? It happens all the time...
While I am using Firefox, new pages keep opening all the time, new tabs. Even for writing this message I had to close new pages many times. It is boring, I am considering not using Firefox any more if I can´t fix it.

As long as you share that AppleID for iCloud, you cannot. You are sharing a a single iCloud account and sync services. The only thing you can do is get a second AppleID and use it with iCloud - you do not have to use that new AppleID for anything but iCloud (ie. you can still share an AppleID for iTunes and App store purchases).
P.S. I am assuming you both want to sync your contacts with iCloud? -
Im using a usb stick with bootable diagnostic partitions and a extra partition for diags that run in the OS. When i want to use diagnostics from this extra partition on a mac thats already booted, I have to wait for all the bootable partitions to mount as well as the one partition that I need. Is there a way to hide these bootable partitions when using the usb drive as a storage device to run diags in the OS?
ThanksI think I may have to look into a redirect line in my htaccess file so that direct loads of my mp3's route through my website page.
If you do this you may find iTunes won't read the files, so I should test carefully on one file first if possible. -

you can add new tab in Buisness partner with the help of screen configaration functionality,in screen configaration u select first bp role (sold to party or retailer etc) and click on process screen sequence and again click on overview and u will get fields right side of the screen, there u will see the field "new screen" click on that and add description for new tab and click on continue,save the document
now u will again create a bp with modified bp role u will see changes means u will see new tab page on perticular bp role

Whenever I click on a "new tab" is shows a blank page. (it use to show the Mozilla user update page) However, I wish to see my home page "Google" every time I open a new tab.

But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap. -
I can't seem to do it the way I used to change it all the time on Mavericks.
There was a text box after I clicked on the lock after I went to Users and Groups in System Preferences, but now it's gone.
By short name, I mean the name that appears on your lock screen when you log in.
P.S. I use a MacBook Air Early 2014 version, 13-inch.
I upgraded to Yosemite 2 days ago.I found how to do it.
Go to SystemPreferences - Users&Groups - Right-click on your account at the left hand side bar- change your FULL NAME ONLY
If you change anything else the system might break but changing the full name causes no damage.
So I changed my name and am working fine with my Mac.

Win 7 set up and running OK,but after go back from OSX the wireless net work stuck at identification cause the window working without Internet.Can we fix it or I must use Windows off line all the time?

post...I notice it does it on start up as well.....think something is trying to install but not sure. Need to figure out where the appdata or start up folder and see whats in there....maybe it's in there.......so I might wait to see how it acts in the next
couple days for "Problem 1"...but other than that it's running like a champ...so right now I just want to get the pop up windows to stop........thx again for everyone's help on this.

When you said you have no fax machines on your line, that does include computers directly connected to the phone line?
The reason that I ask is a computer with a dial-up modem (a non broadband modem) that can connect to your phone line, can have software that makes the computer act as a fax machine.

When saving an downloaded pdf-fil, the saved file is corrupt (empty?) and can´t be opened. Happens all the time nowadays, never before. Its a mess. Please advice.

Are you downloading files from your Acrobat.com cloud storage? If so, what browser are you using, and are you on Mac OS or Windows? Has something changed on your system since you were able to download/open PDF files successfully? What version of Acrobat or Reader are you using to open these files?

How can I stop new private tabs in Safari from logging me out?
Previously, in Mavericks, a private browsing session would act as one whole session, even if split between multiple tabs. So, for example, if I was signed in to an online account, I could move around the site and open links in new tabs without being logged out. Now, in Yosemite, each new tab is its own session. That means I get logged out every time I open a new tab. This makes things like comparing different products on a site like Amazon impossible to do.
Is there any way to change this behaviour?You can put a global variable to during the form load so you know the form is started for first time. That is one way.

I do not want multiple windows or multiple tabs. In older Firefox versions just one window could be set, using the page history to go backwards or forwards. How do you disable new tabs or new windows from automatically opening in firefox 7?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
