How can I stop pop up's coming up when I'm on the internet?

Every time I click on a webpage at least 2 other tabs are made with irrelevant pop hp's. I have had this fixed before but I cannot remember what the person did to fix it! Any help?

Please log off and log back in to your machine and the issue should be resolved automatically. In case that does not work, please manually run the msi installer posted here (may require reboot).

It's not a good idea to allow websites to redirect to another site until you know for sure the original site is trustworthy.
But if you still want to do it (again not a good idea).
Tools>Options>Advanced>General - In Accessibility, uncheck "warn me when web sites try to redirect..." option.

Try to delete or rename/move the prefs.js file and other possible prefs-##.js with a number and user.js files in the Firefox Profile Folder.

I've spent over 3 hours on the phone/chatting to online support and none of it seemed to help as it all revolved around resetting emails etc but can't do any of it without my access to my old email. Now my phone won't take cloud because they advised to set up new apple ID and use that, but can't sign out of old one completely. I've just got a new iPad, got 8 updates available on app store, after like 5 min there were 4 updates. It was when I realised that it was automatically downloading stuff, so i disabled it from iTunes and App Stores settings as you wrote. The problem is that even though I disabled everything, every time I reconnect this iPad to wi-fi it continues to download because from 4 available updates it went down to 2. And somehow it managed to download GarageBand update, that's 600mb off of my monthly 8gb!! Why does it keep downloading from app store?
