How can I stop you from blocking a page when it doesn't need to be blocked

When I try setting up the new myyahoo page, you have a shield blocking the page, but when I try to tell you to stop blocking, your page comes up with checking certificate to allow exception, but then after checking it tells me it has a valid certificate and does need an exception, but you still keep blocking. I need you to stop blocking my yahoo so I can set up the page as it was before switching to the newest version. If this can't be fixed, I will have to stop using Mozilla. I know this is set up as a safety for me, but it's not working. This page has a valid certificate, so you shouldn't be blocking it.

Hi widowward, is the certificate error for the main page or for something embedded in the page?
If you right-click the error part, do you find "This Frame" on the right-click menu? If so, please expand "This Frame" and use Open in a New Tab. Then copy the address from the address bar and paste it back here in a reply. (I'll try to get back to you more promptly, so go ahead and leave that tab open.)
If the error is for My Yahoo itself, that's strange. If you expand the sections of the error page, what is the technical explanation? If you try the Add Exception dialog and view the certificate, do you see a different issuer than I see (attached)?

How can I stop Firefox from changing Tabs/pages when I use the up/down arrows for scrolling?

A recent update is causing the browser to switch between tabs, or even go on to other pages, when I use the keyboard navigation arrows to scroll down the page. This is aggravating, especially when filling out a form, which can submit before completion. How can I stop mail from opening single page attachments.

I open some mail attachments in Notetaker app to make adjustments to some pages before sending on but when an attachment is only a single page it opens in the email message itself and then I can't open it. How can I stop this happening?

Hi Dave! This may help if you should want to save your emails to your computer which AM can do.
--Open Mail
--From Application Toolbar choose MAIL
--Choose ACCOUNTS from Mail tool bar
--Choose "Account Information"
--In the bottom right hand box -- Choose the "drop down box" (blue arrows) and Choose the mail box you want to send mail from
--Check "Use only this server". (Safari has a drop down on their tool bar that allows you to choose which box you want to send from.)
Go to Safari or a Web Page and send an email message. See if this works.
Of course, I'm assuming you have filled in the Account information for all your mailboxes. If not, that's a whole different procedure but well worth the effort, all your mailboxes are at your fingertips and you can save all your mail to your computer, back it up and never loose a word. :-)
Another caveat: I am using OS X 10.6.8 and the later versions of OS X may have dropped or modified Mail. Perhaps someone using one of the newer versions can add their knowledge here.
AM has many useful perks, it just takes time to find them but they really are worth the effort.

Say I have 10 Firefox windows minimized. When I start a new instance of Firefox, all the minimized windows are restored! Then I must manually minimize them all over again. How can I stop this behavior?

How can I stop iTunes from synching multiple times when I plug in my iPhone

Since the new iTunes 11.1.1 (11) itunes will not stop synching whenever my IPhone is plugged in.
I have used Disk Repair to reset permissions several times, and there is always a long list of iTunes items, nothng else.
That does not change anything.
Honestly I wish there was a different app to manage IPhone, ITunes from day 1 (ten years ago) has always had bugs or irritating features.

Probably the theme you are using does not support tit - try a different theme - as I said originally
Pre Crop to 4:3 (the frame ratio for books) or in most themes right click on the placed photo and select fit to frame to use background color film rather than cropping

Ever since I installed Opera 10.61 on my new computer (Windows 7 Ultimate operating system), whenever I open Opera, Firefox opens one second later with the following error message:

I had Opera set as my default browser since this began happening. I changed my default browser back to Firefox mainly because having Firefox open one or two seconds every time I open Opera was/is such a nuisance.
I believe this problem began because I attempted to manually transfer the files from my old computer to the new one (via the backed up files in my external drive). I was unfamiliar with Windows 7 when I did this. Microsoft changed the file set up from what I had been used to in Windows XP. I used XP for six years before being exposed to Windows 7 (I never had Vista).
I'm almost sure this problem has something to do with where I placed the application data when I was trying to reestablish the program set up on the new computer.

I do not want to upgrade to 7.0, I am attending online college and the upgraded version does not work with my school. How can I stop Firefox from upgrading? I have to keep uninstalling the upgrade and installing the old one.

But if you still want to do it (again not a good idea).
Tools>Options>Advanced>General - In Accessibility, uncheck "warn me when web sites try to redirect..." option.

You can share the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: here
But for all other Apple services like:
FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud, etc, one of you should use a different Apple ID.

If you ned more room for storage buy a bigger drive. In fact buy two, one to use as a backup for your library and all your other important files.

You do not need to move your cursor much when pressing the mouse button to cause the tab to tear-off/tear-away into a new tab. No "sensitivity" setting that I am aware of. The tab in the new window can be dragged back to the original window.
