I used a website to download a ringtone through my PC and i connected my iPhone to my PC and poped uo iTunes as usual but as i scrolled to find the option 'Ringtone' on the top were 'Summary, Info, Aps, ect.' I couldnt find it nor was it on my Library. I don't know how to make a option of 'Ringtone' show. HELP! Plese & Thank you.

HI, if I did this, then I believe that I cloud would then hold my info which I don't want. Is that the case? The reason is that I'm an old git, therefore used to not giving out info. Would I be right?

Sorry, but that is correct. You need Snow Leopard to sync your phone and the latest version of iTunes and you old G5 cannot run that.

The songs on your Shuffle should still be in your iTunes library. That means you should just be able to connect your Nano to the same iTunes library and sync it just as you would with your Shuffle. There is no limit to the number of iPods, iPads, or iPhones you can sync to one computer, iTunes library, or account.
As for preparing the Shuffle for your husband, just restore it via iTunes and then let him sync it to his own iTunes library or if its the same iTunes library, let him configure it to sync only his content.

HT1386 i have an old i touch. it's full and won't sync at all. how can i choose only the cd's i want from itunes on my desk top to sync into the itouch? if i just plug it in it just tells me it's full leaving my old music in place. is there a way?

With the iPod connected to the computer go to the Music pane for the iPod in iTunes and check the box that says sync only checked songs. The check the songs you want synced and click on Sync. For more info see:

I will address your second question.
First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone.

On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Contacts off then back on then reset the device.

If you are saying that you both have iCloud accounts and use the same icloud ID, then yes, the contacts will be deleted. The idea is that all devices using the same icloud ID are kept in sync. You need to use different IDs. You can keep the same iTunes ID so you can share the songs and apps. But use different icloud IDs.

Thank you for the question. This alert can mean that iTunes is recognizing applications on the iPad purchased by another Apple ID. If anyone in your household has an Apple ID, try authorizing the computer with their Apple ID and attempt to sync. If you are still experiencing issues, go through the troubleshooting steps in the attached article.
