How can I sync different iphones to one computer
I have an iphone 4 alread and recently updated my husbands phone to a iphone 4 as well. Can I sync and set up as sepparte itunes account on the same computer? If so, how do I delete my itunes account from his iphone?

Only iTunes content and any photos transferred from the computer that was used for syncing the iPhone.
Transfer your iTunes library from your computer's backup which should include other important data such as documents and photos, etc. -

I'm going to be getting my wife an iPhone for our anniversary, but all of our music is on this laptop, so is there a way to sync both phones to this computer and have separate music end up on our phones? How does this work with apps I've purchased and will it keep my calendar with my appointments so she can have her own calendar? Crap, that leads to another question: will my wife need her own iTunes account to enter into the phone or can she use mine because it's already hooked up to our protected credit card?
I suppose I can copy all of the music onto the desktop for access and have her sync to that iTunes, but that computer is dreadfully wonky since it's unfortunately a PC used for Internet Explorer for site checking with my designs and it has my PC Adobe CS software. That would keep calendars separate, but create a music headache for music purchased on one phone to be added to iTunes.

So, I got my boyfriend an iPhone 4 last year and his computer was so outdated that he could not sync it with his computer. We recently upgraded to Snow Leopard (no Lion for us yet) for both his and my computer and now he can sync his phone with his own computer. Before, he could not back up his contacts in his address book, or his calendar, etc. So anyway, when I plug in his phone to the computer, it recognizes it, but will not allow me to create a backup in his iTunes. It will also not let me "assign" the phone to the computer. Any suggestions? Also, even if I do a complete restore, how can I add the stuff backed up to his iCloud once it's restored? Unless you moved the Domain file, that's its default location. Make sure you're looking in the Library folder in your Home folder rather than Macintosh HD. See also THIS recent post. -

Basically, my iphone has been in the same apple ID as my dads iphone and mac book, so my iphone has always been synced to his macbook. I bought myself a mac book the other day and want to sync my iphone to it. You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.

Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content. -

When transferring iTunes content and photos from another computer, all iTunes content and photos transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPhone first with a warning message provided beforehand indicating this will occur. -

You don't. The iOS photo sync is one-way: Computer to phone. You can only use iPhoto to import pics in your camera roll.

The application ITunes presumes that the information, data, music, etc in its database is the correct master. In doing so, it will overwrite and replace any information previously on the phone. You probably will want to transfer the iTunes data directory from it's original location (presumably the system yoiu used to sync with your iPhone previously), the the new system.
If your iPhone has data from a different Apple ID, than the ID you will use on the new notebook, then be prepared to lose the data on the phone if you sync. It's meant to work that way. -

You could copy your music and put it on your work computer and then sync it.
If you try to sync to one and then sync to other its going to wipe the phone and remove the old sync with the new sync.
